The idiots at the EFCC are more incompetent than I previously thought. Why not address the allegations made in the petition? Are they true or false? Address the very specific allegations (backed up with facts and figures) rather than beat about the bush and claim that Saraki is witch hunting you. Very silly indeed.

This is a huge joke really. After all the gra gra and noise. After storming his homes with hundreds of battle ready operatives and making it seem that the man was a threat to national security. After all the stupidity, all that the Daura Security Service can come up with is a useless and lame charge of illegal possession of firearms? For a retired senior military officer and NSA? When thousands of political thugs and nonentities across Nigeria have unlicensed guns in their houses , even known to police authorities?

Not even a whimper of corruption, after claiming that in the media that he embezzled so so billions?

I swear Buhari is an idiot. Such a vengeful vindictive old ogre shouldn't be president. So because he has a personal axe to grind with Dasuki, he has turned law enforcement into a massive joke?

Very ridiculous question. Is it in Africa or in this world sef that you would see a black woman voluntarily quitting a relationship or marriage with a very wealthy man? Unless it's Europe or America where she can hope to receive substantial divorce settlement.

The rich man is always always the dumper, never the 'dumpee' in this part of the world.

One of his boys used to drive around in some nice cars with plate number 'Jador 1', Jador 2 etc those days in Ikeja. Wonder where that one is now.

Also wonder where other fraud heavy weights that used to reign and be praised by Wasiu those days are now - the likes of Danku, Atobatele, Shino Olowoake, etc are now.

You claimed "gej's method is the best."
Yet you said, " virtually everybody is involved. "

But if gej's method was successful we won't be here in the first place

Because all these corrupt case is mostly about the last PDP government
Jonathan's method didn't purport to be a quick fix. With the level of corruption in Nigeria, no quick fix will ever work. Buhari is wasting his time and at the end of the day, his hypocrisy and sheer cluelessness will be made evident.

What he is doing is a futile task. When he gets tired or gets pushed out from there, things would revert to normal because the processes and institutions have not been enabled to prevent, reduce or discourage corruption. Everything is based on the so-called "body language" of Buhari. What an unsustainable joke.

Only a long-term strategic vision based on strong institutions and processes rather than on so-called 'strong individuals' can help contain the problem of corruption.
PoliticsRe: Looters’ Special Court: Nominee-judges Fail Integrity Test-tribune by hedonistic: 7:10am On Aug 24, 2015
Una never start. You think this primitive approach to fighting corruption by Buhari can succeed? It would be a spectacular failure.

Jonathan's approach and vision remains the best. You have to block loopholes and strengthen institutions in order to reduce avenues for corruption in the long term. Anything else is nothing but a wild goose chase for the simple reason that there are not enough people who can come to equity with clean hands. If our judges, law enforcement agents, lawyers and everyone else in the jurisprudential ecosystem are all corrupt, how can we claim to fight corruption in this draconian Buhari Way? Who would do the 'fighting' , and would such a person have the moral authority to do so?

Virtually everybody is involved in - or has benefitted from corruption in one way or the other. Those who haven't yet done so are patiently and secretly longing for such an opportunity to arise.

All the currently trending and prosperous "wire wire" lords and experts in other branches of the fraud business should pool resources together and bail him out. He is their grandmaster.
TravelRe: Extortionists At The Airports by hedonistic: 8:47pm On Aug 21, 2015
Customs is arguably the most 'lucrative' government job in Nigeria. Not even Buhari can change that.

That's why real "change" has to be systemic and institutional - not the strongman-driven model of the sort propagated by Buhari and the APC.

My wife has to be my b.it.ch... That's key to maintaining the sexual spark. She can't be all about that fake 'decent married woman' posture all the time which means it is 'inappropriate' to do certain pleasurable things with her... (that I can do with fresh young side chicks outside).

Nothing kills a man's libido faster than such conservative nonsense... After only a few years of marriage, your dick would no longer be capable of erection when you think of sex with her.

PoliticsRe: Economy can’t sustain subsidy – Kachikwu, NNPC boss: Vanguard by hedonistic: 9:22am On Aug 21, 2015
menxer:
I object to the bolded. Does it mean everything in Nigeria as at now is subsidized?
Why are call rates and data rates getting cheaper, is it because of subsidy?
Don't sit in your middle class bubble and imagine that all is well with the world. Many Nigerians would be further impoverished if the fuel subsidy regime is discontinued, for the simple reason that removal of subsidy will lead to higher and higher pump prices. This in turn would lead to higher prices of goods and services, including higher transport fares and higher price of foodstuff and associated items.

With the already weak purchasing power of the poor Nigerian masses and struggling lower end of the middle class (who collectively make up the majority), such pressures will entrench poverty across the land.

We know that structures and processes don't work normally in Nigeria, so all the beautiful talk about allowing 'market forces' to regulate the price of fuel is nonsense. This same argument was advanced for diesel. Since subsidy was discontinued for diesel many years ago, how come the price has always been increasing endlessly, regardless of the price of crude in the international markets? This same thing would happen with PMS, because the oil marketers in Nigeria operate as a cartel with the sole aim of colluding to rip off consumers. There will never be anything like a free market or competitive pricing in the marketing and sale of PMS if subsidies are removed. The masses would suffer for it.
PoliticsRe: Buhari Accepts NCS Boss’ Resignation by hedonistic: 10:39am On Aug 18, 2015
Virgindove:
The former CG is a politician. He knows the job, gave his best but as usual, a VERY corrupt officer. I must say Dikko is a father, he touched the lives of many, both inside and outside the service, with his wealth. This singular good side of him might prevent his investigation and prosecution. But if anti- corruption agencies' searchlight turns towards him, the revelation will be heartrending, the nation won't believe it.
My dear there is no Customs CG that is less corrupt than his predecessors or successors. The wealth you accumulate depends entirely on how long you remain as CG. Dikko has had the good fortune (thanks to Jonathan's and Patience's backing) of being the longest serving CG in recent history, with six long years in the saddle. That explains his untold wealth. Even the likes of Buba Gyang and the rest are all multi Billionaires. Quote me any CG of Customs will be a multi bilionaire in only a few months on the seat. Even Buhari's presidency cannot change that.

CGC is arguably the most lucrative appointment in Nigeria - rivalled only by Minister of Petroleum and NNPC GMD, but with less unnecessary attention than these two.

Dikko must be worth at least $1b. I'm sure of that.
FamilyRe: I Saw Her Through School; Now I'm No More Qualified To Marry Her by hedonistic:
Joavid:
You paid her tuition once. (Which I assume is cheap) and you give her some change every now and then. Ok.

Is that enough for you to say you laboured for her, you sent her to school?

Did she not give companionship in return all those 4years?
Was she not cooking, cleaning and washing for you?

Men and lies.
She's not leaving you cos you're an OND cert holder (that can still further) with a lucrative business.

She's leaving you cos you're an a$$hoole.
So your stupid "companionship" is worth how much again? And since when did companionship become a one way traffic, or did she not benefit from the man's companionship too? And you're talking washing, cooking, and cleaning? Assuming the girl contributed that during the period (if she wasn't too busy being IN SCHOOL all that while, how much do part time housemaids get paid in Nigeria again?

Most of you women are just terrible. Imagine the rubbish these ones are spewing here.

Listen up guys, wise men should steer clear of spending too much or assisting these women. Ingratitude is ingrained in their nature. It's best to invest in your family or male friends who you can count on in some way in the future. If you are feeling charitable, look for less privileged people in great need around you - poor widows with children to feed, helpless or financially distressed families, elderly people without support, etc). NEVER extend acts of "charity" to these pathetic idiots called girls. Anything you spend on them is often a total waste. If you must spend, limit the spending to whatever you think her puccie or body as a whole is worth in carnal currency...never allow your head to get stuck in the clouds in the name of love or commitment.
RomanceRe: 10 tips to escape the friendzone and get any girl of your dreams by hedonistic:
Good stuff. It's hard to implement these tips when you are naturally built to be a very nice guy with an overdose of sentimentality and sensitivity... But practice makes perfect in (almost) everything...

For those who find it too difficult to understand, here is the bottom line which somewhat summarises everything: Emotional detachment and indifference. That's the single most important factor that differentiates the bad guy from the nice guy, the Alpha from the beta, and the successful playboy from a miserable wussie.

If you are emotionally detached and indifferent in your interaction with a woman you desire, your chances of conquering her or at least exiting with your manly dignity intact (if she proves resistant to your charms) are at least 500% higher than otherwise.

RomanceRe: How A Lady I Was Supposed To Dump Skillfully Dumped Me by hedonistic: 1:14pm On Aug 16, 2015
The reactions of most female posters here seem to endorse the girl's actions. They're not condemning her actions (including the cheating); they are not empathising with the OP; they're not encouraging or commending the guy for being so nice and forgiving. They are simply gloating and feeling very proud of their colleague.

That tells you all about how women need to be treated... Treat them mean to keep them keen. That's just the way it is.

Always see them as mere objects for gratification and leisure, never to be taken too seriously or accorded any importance beyond carnality. NEVER put your heart in any dealing with them, and never catch feelings no matter how "sweet" she pretends to be. I guess that's the moral of the story.

Later some of them would come here to rant about how cold, 'unromantic', and heartless men are.

What does it mean to "reject" someone's resignation, is there a legal basis for that? Or is it by force to work? You can't forcefully retain a person in a position or organisation against his wish. The president has no such powers. Maybe further explanation of this "rejecting resignation" stories will be necessary.
CelebritiesRe: Segun Arinze Mistakenly Sent 50k To Man,the Man Refuses To Return Cash by hedonistic: 11:53am On Aug 15, 2015
The sad truth is that many Nigerians are thieves. If the slightest opportunity to steal arises, they often grab it with both hands, shamelessly.

Someone erroneously sent money to your account and immediately reaches out to you to return it, but you refuse. Why? Why is that so hard to do?

Should I even talk about the animals who you would lend money to based on trust (and who would promise and swear on their mother's grave to repay you "next week" ), only for next week to drag into eternity, and eventually they start threatening you or antagonising you. I tire for people.
CrimeRe: How Love Affair Exposed Ekiti Kidnappers To Justice by hedonistic: 9:26am On Aug 15, 2015
It appears that kidnappers often rape their female victims. That is quite sad. My assumption is that the woman enjoyed the sex session with the kidnapper so much that it gradually blossomed into a full blown romantic affair. That explains why the kidnapper fought with his colleague when the latter tried to take his turn to rap.e the woman too while in captivity.
PoliticsRe: How Governors Turn Govt Houses To Sex Havens: Punch by hedonistic: 9:04am On Aug 15, 2015
It's even inaccurate to narrow it down to students alone. Working class ladies and 'businesswomen' are also fully involved. We see them everyday, even girls that you think should be contented because they have a good job (jobs that they probably got by sleeping with one big man or the other). Those of us who go out to the sort of places they hang out with their pot-bellied benefactors are often shocked to see very beautiful and classy - looking ladies shamelessly degrading themselves because of money. It's a terrible cancer.

The most annoying thing is that these same girls would be forming morality and sainthood for unsuspecting decent male toasters, boyfriends, fiances, and husbands. As sexist and chauvinistic as it sounds, it's probably better to not take most of them seriously at all, especially when you observe certain signs of flamboyant 'high maintenance' lifestyle. All these ones that parade IPhone 6 Plus and Blackberry Passport about, plus Brazilian hair and expensive jewelry (when their parents can hardly feed) are a no-no. Just assume that they are closet whores until they prove otherwise, because, sadly, they often are.

Twisting the law to suit your family business is corruption too
So this idiotic thing (I despise him so much that I can't even mention his accursed name) is the owner of the notorious Swiss Park in Festac? Did he set up the place before or after he started eating left over excrement from Bola Tinubu's toilet? In that case he is also as corrupt as anybody else.

FoodRe: Some Bad Cooking Habits Women Have by hedonistic: 11:23pm On Aug 14, 2015
Those of us who eat out everyday would have died long ago if not for our blissful ignorance (what you don't know wouldn't hurt you), and most especially, the heat of the cooking that kills most unthinkable bacteria and microbes.

Chefs in all kinds of restaurants sneeze, spit, draw up mucus, etc and channel them all into your food as part of the 'seasoning'. Some akpati women even scratch their disgusting scratchables in those 'unseen' parts of the body where the sun doesn't shine and then use the same unwashed hands to handle your moi-moi or fried plantain. Tufia!

Bon appétit.

That's why a lot of guys are desperate to make money... To treat these hoes like the hoes they are. Imagine the sort of high hurdles and moralistic pretences these same girls would put up for a regular or struggling guy somewhere who dares to woo them, even for marriage. But they are happy to be sluts to a successful guy and shamelessly share him with their fellow sluts.

RIP to the dead. But I don't understand why it is always a 'bigger deal' when an aircraft crashes than when a vehicle crashes. Even a passenger bus crash with much more casualties in terms of human lives never 'enjoys' this sort of front page reportage, both on traditional media and social media. Why is it so? Is it that lives lost to air crashes are more valuable than lives lost to road crashes? Just thinking out loud.
