Good question. But sir, I didn't know about the Quran. I know about the Bible. The evidence is what happened with in my own life. Right from infancy, I had been hearing of the possibility of salvation from sin otherwise termed born again, redemption or new life in Christ. I tried many times to turn a new leaf or change my bad life but I couldn't. So I just decided to be merely religious until November 1999 I became saved and the Bible became real to me. I had also heard about miracles of healing and deliverance. It was after my new birth experience that I experienced the divine healing of a particular kind of chronic earache that had disturbed me from childhood. I also got healed of upper respiratory tract infection and pile that I had suffered for long. I equally got delivered from the spirit of fear that had made my life miserable. If these truths about the Bible are true, then other truths must be real too and by following the teachings in the Bible one is certain of survival here and and also to escape the wrath to come. Thank you. I hope I did some justice to your question sir.

The question is, what does it mean to be born again? From what I read from the Scriptures and my own personal experience, I got born again the day I experienced a change of moral life. It was dramatic. I heard a powerful message from a young man in the same school were we both taught then. That was on the 12th of November, 1999. The young teacher was asked to give a moral talk to the students as a lot of them were misbehaving, disrespectful and into sexual immorality. The moral talk turned out to be a piercing gospel message that I could not resist. I confessed my sins, prayed for forgiveness and accepted Christ as Lord and Saviour in real practical terms ( before then I was a Sunday School teacher and a member of the choir in my former church). I used to invite some of the female students to my house for immorality, I used to tell lies and I had a bad temper among other sins. I later went looking for him at home to inform him of my experience but didn't meet him at home. Next Monday, I told him what had happened to me and later my desire to join his own local assembly. He was surprised to hear that as he had assumed that I was a Christian already. He encouraged me. After by born again experience, the power of sin was broken and I started hating the sins I had pleasure in. By God's grace, this is now 23 years since I got born again. Alleluia!
My question is, can God accept one into His Kingdom simply because such a one is religious, has been taught the Bible or Scriptures or is vast at it, has been baptized in water, can pray etc but without genuine new birth experience?

Does this mean there's hope for survival?
