This is very tricky.

Technically, you can switch to Adjustment of Status by filing form I-485 with USCIS AS SOON AS YOU ARRIVE. Then you write to NVC to inform them that you are switching. You files will be switched to Adjustment route. The timeline for this I don't know for now.

You will notice I said it's tricky. This is because visitors visa are single intent visas. This means they were given by the embassy with your promise and intent that you will return to Nigeria after your visit. Also, at point of entry with visitor visa, the CBP will ask you why you are coming to the US, you will mostly likely lie that you are coming for a visit/ tourism etc. so that they can allow you into the country.

When you file 485, the USCIS can use that lie against you that you lied to CBP especially when you are already DQed in your immigration journey.

Then,I said you must file 485 as soon as you arrive. This is because you don't want to run into overstay before you file 485 to avoid another problem with overstay hurdle.

If you are ready to risk lieing to CBP, you can go ahead but I will not recommend it because your green card can be denied because of this.

You will need to do another evaluation through WES US. The evaluation for Canada PR only useful to get Canadian equivalent of your credentials. WES will have to re evaluate your credentials to US equivalent. The good news is that WES already have your credentials and they have validated them through your schools while evaluating for Canadian equivalent. Thus, this evaluation will be faster this time around.

You don't have to send the evaluation report directly to USCIS through WES. The report should be sent to you and you can send a copy to USCIS when they request it.

My advise is not to jump to conclusions of what is the root of the issue. I want you to look deeper.

Apart of sex, has she stopped investing into the relationship or the family in any other ways? Has she stopped supporting the family financially? Has she stopped cooking for you? Has she stopped taking care of you differently compared to before?

Generally, what else has changed financially, emotionally, supports, communication etc.?

1. He files Family siblings category F4 petition for you siblings. This takes about 17 to 18 years. Wait can change depending on visa bulletin below.

2. He files for a parent first (as IR5) and the parent files for the rest of the siblings (as F categories) when they arrive in the US. This route can be a little shorter. IR visas takes 1 to 2 years to process in most cases for the parent to enter the US. Once the parent files for the siblings, their wait depends on the visa bulletin below

You will have to do medical exam in the new country most likely because each country embassy has contracted medical facility they use for medicals.

You can also inquire from the new embassy if they accept foreign medical facility, though I doubt they will accept from my experience.

I already know I'll do I-485 and the timeline for approval is averagely 4 to 6 months but I don't know for my wife and children who will be doing it in Nigeria.

If I understand your situation, you have an approved EB petition and you will be doing adjustment of status within the US since you are already in the US. However, your wife and children are going through consular processing through Lagos.

If that's correct, then if your family are on same i‐140 you are using to adjust status, then they will follow same pool of immigrant visa applicants currently waiting for Interview dates from Lagos Embassy.

To transfer your case to another country for interview, you must have legal residency or citizenship in that country. Also the US embassy in that country usually have specific additional requirements to accept transfers.

But beware that transfer of cases usually takes time too. It can take 3months to 1 year depending on the country you are transferring to.

Have you ever seeing where someone is being given an award or commendation and they say " I will like to thank my step dad or dedicate this award to my step dad"?

That means children of a single mom are never an asset to the step dad.

In addition to many other reasons some other posters had given above, this is another reason sensible single men without children avoid marrying single moms.
