Politics › Re: Where Is President Buhari? – Fayose by henryhemon(m): 3:08am On Apr 21, 2017 |
Igbos salivate at every bad news against Buhari, check most of the comments 90% are from igbos. The hatred is skin deep, fortunately they can't do anything about his presidency, most of them will die before Buhari, most of them will never get to the old man's level. Seems igbos now celebrate evil just cuz of PMB and forget to hold their leaders accountable. PMB is just president for 2 years but igbos are blaming him for all of their misfortunes, when that zone has been a dead zone for long. If fayose is your role model it shows how stupid you 're. Someone that cannot fix small ekiti state, someone that's a tout and no integrity. He thinks opposition is about being stupid. If he uses that energy to fix ekiti state,he will be celebrated for life. I hope they won't have hypertension when fayose disappoints them. |

LordAdam16: Mtcheww!
Saraki is the most powerful political figure in the country right now and I'm not an APC member.
Maybe you should talk to your higher-ups in the APC and ask them about the outcome of the reconciliatory meeting between the Executive and Legislature. And why Buhari is sending Osinbajo cap in hand to liase with Saraki rather than vice versa.
Saraki and co want Magu and Lawal out. The Presidency chose Lawal and said they'd do everything to keep Magu (part of it is a bid not to appear weak).
Oke is not messed up. He gets all his benefits with his retirement. And as the head of the largest foreign intelligence operation in Africa with classified budget and off-the-book black-budget operations, he is too wealthy to give a sh*t about $43m (if it was his). Take it from me.
The CBN sold $3b in 5 weeks for cheap. Did you think all of that money was for real stuff? Do you how much went under the book in this government with oil at an average of $50 pb.
Moreover, a so-called head of intelligence agency will not be stu*id enough to store his loot in the same apartment managed by his wife's firm and linked to a political big-wig in the opposition party.
As far as 2019 is concerned, I don't give a sh*t. But this much is certain. The North will not give up power after only 4 years to the South. If you think so, then I shouldn't even be replying you.
-Lord I can tell you this once Buhari says vote for Osibanjo it's done. Saraki isn't more powerful than Tinubu. What's the interest of the Senate with Lawal ?? Magu is their nemesis they want to cut Him to seize . Saraki has only 2 years left,he can't be back as Senate President,he got there cuz PMB told him he has no candidate,he actually seek Buhari's consent before running for that position. I can tell you Tinubu is the one running the show behind the scenes. Saraki Sarah has been messed up he can never be more than Senate president for 4 years. |

LordAdam16: I wouldn't want to make a new post in politics section, but I'd make an exception here.
@SillyMods, Sarrki, and all you Zombies are very sick. Because Lawal who was being shamelessly celebrated has now being dropped. Same way if Magu is dropped, you folks would shamelessly say, better late than never.
Nigerians are also very gullible.
The talk that there are new evidences against the SGF is all a lie. Buhari is simply using the SGF as a peace offering for the Senate as part of the recent Executive-Legislature peace process. And it made sense to do this now because they were considering relieving a Southern head of service and wanted to appear balanced.
It's all about 2019. Buhari and APC will sacrifice anyone for 2019.
Because there is no way new evidence magically cropped up after Oke was implicated on a different issue.
As for the theory of a cover-up, that's plausible. If you want to cover up anything, using the NIA is the perfect blanket. It is an intelligence agency with secret units that millions of us don't know about. Oke retires in November. He was to start his leave of absence in August. That's like 4 months away. And there's no way they'd find dollars minted in 2016 in an apartment and claim it was appropriated in 2014/2015.
Oke CANNOT be arrested and tried. Only the Attorney-General, President/Vice President, and service chiefs have the security clearance to review his case file. Magu does not have that clearance. That's why EFCC is yet to release a press statement. And that's why Magu is not part of the committee to review his case.
So if you wanted to really cover up anything by a big-wig in the government, Oke is the perfect fall guy. The NIA will not say anything to the press since they're in on it, and the matter will die a natural death. While the money is re-wired to the rightful owner.
Recall that the money was immediately deposited with the CBN and Oke already wants to submit his leave of absence letter.
This has nothing to do with an anti-corruption war. If it was, Lawal would have been axed long before now. Buratai too, Kyari (with his higher 500m loot) et cetera. It's a game of politics plain and simple, and the more you look, the less you see. Any body's head would roll if a strong group (in this case, Saraki and his Senate) demands for it.
And Saraki and the Senate are the real winners here as they've humbled the Presidency, again. All he had to do was ask EFCC to name the owner of the loot, and the Presidency scampered for a reasonable response.
Even Sagay would be next if the Senate insists, since he can't seem to keep his leaking mouth shut and he has the same air of arrogance that Lawal and Magu have.
The big upsetting news leading to 2019 started with Ali Ndume's suspension. Expect more to come.
And expect zombies to have a lot of work to do in the coming weeks and months, accusing and counter-accusing, praising and shortly after expressing disappointment.
-Lord Your postulation holds no water though admire your intelligence it's borne out of bias. You 're saying Saraki and co decided Lawal's fate, Buhari cannot allow Saraki run the show why? Tinubu has the ear of Buhari and I can assure you Buhari isn't coming back 2019 he will put forward Osinbajo and that's Tinubu's boy thru and thru. Oke was a victim of intense politicking he rather cried cuz he is messed up at the end of his tenure. |
Politics › Re: SGF, Babachir Lawal Gone For Good – Sagay by henryhemon(m): 5:21pm On Apr 20, 2017 |
LordAdam16: Deji is an idiot. Every GEJ-appointed officer who was retained by Buhari is seen as a mole by some PDP elements. The same way some PDP elements see Emefiele as a mole since Buhari has kept him even with the Dasuki and multiple revelations.
Which is why his submissions are completely stupid.
So Oke would call FFK to bribe Magu?
FFK that already has a case to answer with EFCC.
And Oke has a direct line to the President, so he has no reason to beg Magu. Because Magu cannot investigate his case file. Magu doesn't have the security clearance.
Magu is a pawn. Oke is knowingly taking the fall for the greater good. He is an intelligence officer who has risen to the pinnacle of his career and has less than 4 months left on the job. He has enough intelligence to sink Magu and anyone in the government if he wants. He knows the truth about Chibok, Boko Haram, and several other contentious issues.
I made an exception to reply on this thread. I'm not doing back and forths with a zombie who can't reason for himself. This is beyond you so shut your trap and keep gallivanting over non-issues.
-Lord Lord knower, what is the truth about chibok girls, boko haram etal. we want to know like you? |

kolaish: My candid advice to the men/women that cares: do not let this so-called 'love sentiments' blindfold you into marriage. You are going into a relationship that will last for more than 40 years, so why choosing to spend that long years of marriage struggling to hold it together. There are so many more beautiful and good ladies from your tribe, so, why not choose from them and enjoy a fruitful marriage with peace.
See the following:
1. if you are a yoruba man and your wife is igbo, what language did you think your child will adopt and speak fluently; certainly igbo and not yoruba. That means your child will not be able to speak your own language.
2. Your family will not have an official local dialect, except english.
3. You stand the chance of always going very far (more than 7 hours journey) whenever your partner is having a social function. Think of the transportation costs and its stress.
4. Anytime your in-laws are around, you will look like a stranger because you cannot hear them when they are discussing in their dialect.[/b]
[/b] From everything you have given as reasons why you shouldn't marry from another tribe,it shows: 1. You very small minded. 2. You have very small dreams 3. You are bush man 4. You don't see pass your small confine. 5. You need many years of growing up to do. |

Graccccccccy: I concur. I am a product of Inter tribal marriage (Yoruba Father-Igbo Mother). English is what we speak in my house. The other language i can speak fluently is Yoruba and little Igbo. Whenever i visit my Mom's Village, though i am loved and welcomed, language is still a barrier. We have to travel all the way from Kwara to Abia whenever there is a social function. When relatives are around, an interpreter has to been there. My mom's family will tell me to marry Igbo when i am ready while my Father's people will say "Ma lo ile Igbo oo" lol. Recently, one of my lectures looked at me and said "graccccccccy you have this confused look, your parent are from where?" So, i would say just marry from your tribe. Bigots give advise according to the level of their understanding why they don't achieve much in life, now your own problem is the language your kids will speak. The problem with your likes is they think everyone should be small minded like them. |

AreaFada2: Very desirable but not easy.
You will have to work harder to make it work. Especially if one or both party's parents are against it.
Should things go awry, you will have to bear a lot of poo in silence. Just to avoid "I told you so" from the anti/suspicious side.
I have noticed the poo the majority of female relatives who married into other tribes have had to put up with. They went into these marriages with much naivety and enthusiasm, brushing aside concerns raised by some people. Their usual position was "people withing our tribe do these things too".
They have put up with worse things they initially said they wanted to avoid within tribe. Such as the hubby impregnating other women, hubby secretly using joint property deeds to secure loans without wife knowing, reckless behaviour of covering corruption of a female colleague at work and getting fired from a very lucrative job without benefits/pay off, making wife sole provider for family, secretly taking unsecured loans that wife has to be paying back all over the place later, etc.
Those guys did just about every stupid thing possible and even surpassed the fears of some family members.
About half got divorced but the rest soldiered on, albeit not happily most times. Very unfortunate.
Going into inter-ethnic marriage, please go in with a VERY thick skin. The odds may already be against you ab initio.
I suppose if it works, it can be very sweet. Like the lovely ladies from other tribes married into our family.
Of course they might have worked hard to endear themselves in the beginning. Once they proved their loyalty, it has been all love.
Most have blended in so well that they are not distinguishable from natural born daughters of the family. Things go South even when you marry from same tribe. Shit don't matter, what matters is strong personality and good character. It's crazy we even think about these things,if it's difficult marrying your fellow countryman or woman then we are in deep trouble in this country. |
