Funny thing about this drama from the poor 9ja bb users is that android users didn't tackle or confront them when BBOS 10 was released and touted as capable of running android apps through a virtual machine of sorts. That mean, theoretically, a bb phone running OS 10 can run android apps. No one complained about them running multiple android apps but just listen to their outcry when android users get to run just one single bb app. Bunch of sorry azz losers. |

ITSOLUTIONS: it was actually produce by porsche (known for luxury cars) in partnership with blackberry. it is solid and in few quantity. Basically its a luxury phone and the high.price comes from the build rather than the internal specs.Hmmm... From what build exactly? Is it made of titanium alloy steel, or is the glass shatter proof? Is it immune to all the maladies normal phones encounter? What build exactly? The truth be told is that the phone was sole made for vain people who would simply love the idea of having the porsche brand ascribed to their phones. Ladies generally have this subconscious idea that they are DEPENDANTS. You depend on your father, mother, elder brother/sister, uncle/aunt when you are growing up. When you get to a certain stage and you notice there are some "needs" which your sponsors can't meet or you can't even ask for, you default to your boyfriend. Some take it further by depending on sugar daddies. But in a guy, it's different. From even before we have pubic hairs, we are being told that we are "Men" and hence providers. Even without being told, unconsciously, you'll know when you see your mates having stuffs you want to have but have no means, no be person go tell you make you go hustle. Or when you get to have a gf and she starts making some demands on you. Some can be silly enough to go and ask from their parents and trust me, one day they will ask him this question, "Are you not a man?" So, that mentality builds upon the subconscious fight for self-preservation. The lady will unconsciously seek for the guy with the best means of comfort in the shortest time possible ie you seek for the guy that has the money now and not someone with the potential to have it in the future while the guy will try everything possible to get wealthy (even some terrible things). I hear a lot of ladies say they don't date for money but rather date a guy with potential. All that na wash cos when push comes to shove, then you see them snapping up the old men with money and leaving the guys with potential. Am yet to see a girl who is in a relationship that doesn't ask her guy for material wants. Unless she's a real practicing xtain/muslim or someone with deep rooted principles that has over come the urge to depend and changed it to a guy's urge to succeed with her own hands. 1 Like |

As a lady, you get used to that artificial look that when you see someone without makeup, your mind being tuned and tweaked to respond to make up, tends to dismiss the person as not being good-looking unless the person's beauty was too glaringly obvious. When you see a guy that is not handsome, just take a moment and really look at him. Now put yourself in his position and assess the things you would do to yourself if it were you. Apply those mental changes and look at him again? Is he still ugly? But above all that, I still say that we got to be choosy over who we spend our hard earned money on. Or do you ladies go shopping and spend your money on expensive ugly clothes and accessories? Like wise, guys. When we try to get a lady, right then, we are shopping. Looking to get the best value for our money. |

Hmmm.... Ok, you do have some options here. Use your ovi suite to sync your contacts with either windows contacts or microsoft outlook and then export your contacts to a vcf file. Copy that file to your android phone (internal or sd card). Then go to your contacts app and import them. Alternatively, if you don't have ovi suite, download netqin antivirus suite for your phone. It has a contact back up feature. Use it to back up your contacts to the nokia's sd card. It will create a vcf file. Now transfer that file to the android and import it. There are other methods but these 2 are the fastest methods. |

LORDEST: You must be using an old os!!! Udpdate to os 7.1Lol. True am actually using os6 but the problem is not on the blackberry end, but rather on the android end or any other phone you send the contacts to thru bluetooth. The way bluetooth transfer files forces it to be saved at a temporary place until the user moves it or accesses those files for the 1st time. Hence, when you transfer contacts thru bluetooth, it goes to the download folder (android) or message folder (symbian) and will remain their until you access the contact file. Only then will you be prompted to save it. So, imagine going thru that for a lot of contacts. This applies to even os 10. |

It can be either easy or not easy. The easy way is to add a gmail account to your blackberry email and then sync your contacts on the blackberry to that gmail. Then go to the android and add THAT SAME gmail account and sync your contacts on the android. It will automatically populate your contacts app with your contacts on the blackberry as long as you have internet access on the android. The not so easy way is to use a pc and blackberry destop manager and sync your contacts on the blackberry with either outlook or windows contacts then plug your android and use it's own desktop manager to sync with outlook and windows contacts. If your android doesn't have a desktop manager, then search for other 3rd party desktop managers for android phones. There are a lot of good ones online, can't remember their names right now. Another alternative is after syncing your blackberry with either outlook or windows contacts, export your contacts from either of those two to a csv or vcf file (I recommend you go with vcf) and then transfer the file (its usually tiny like 500kb tops) to your android phone and use your contacts app to import it. When you have finally gotten your contacts on the android using whichever of the methods that suits you, remember to always sync your contacts with your google account so that if you want to move to a new smartphone (android or blackberry) all you need do is to add the google account on the new device and they will be automatically synced. 3 Likes |

Now this is the true Naija spirit. A real gogetter. Others would have sat and waited until xda devs start supporting tecno but you choose to take the initiative. Kudos. Wish am a developer, I'll certainly like to contribute to it. A little tip though, if you have the opportunity and time. Can you add support for Nigerian languages? I bet it would be very innovative to folks here to have a real 9ja made rom on their phones. |

sunboy: Listen good. Sony has no warranty center, I use Xperia U, my friend has Xperia P we both same day less than 6months. Just 2weeks ago, he charged the fone after charging picked it up and phone refuse to ON since then. We went to their warranty center @ Isolo, they said they haven't start repairs that we shoulld go to Ikoyi. Ikoyi also direecteed us backk to Isolo.Dude, if you want to tell lies, then tell reasonable ones. Don't take people for fools here. No company will ever replace your phone with a brand new one after 11months of usage, least of all Samsung. I know this because my sister uses a Note 2 which she bought 5 months ago from Samsung office at v.i. Just last month, it slipped and fell down and the screen cracked. She took it back to them and they told her to pay 40k to fix it. Warranty should have at least enabled her to fix it at least at a cheaper rate because that is exactly the amount they charge at ikeja and besides, they touted the phone to have Corning Gorilla screen and shouldn't have cracked that easily. 1 Like |
