rman: I am not an APC member but for this topic, I am supporting them because your initial post lacks logic.

Opposition wants what the party in power has in politics, so why blame them for that?

Also, I do not agree that their policies are exactly the same. IMO, this tactics is to brainwash Nigerians into believing what they have is currently the best or there is no alternative. Until, we have tried APC at the center and PDP in Lagos that argument of they are the same is rubbish. THEY ARE NOT.

Well, we all took a gamble on PDP at the center in 1999, for 15yrs the promises have not matched performance. If you are indeed a smart gambler, putting your stake on another party at least for 4yrs will be the smartest thing to do.

We all have only one life, as an adult, I will be shortchanging myself if I have such a limited option in democratic choices and did not use wisely by trying both at least, especially when mediocrity has replaced excellence in this clime
exactly bro, this is the new tactics thy are using;'1-religion and ethnic tactics, 2-pdp and apc are all the same' which are false, E.g, check edo state under pdp and edo state under apc, the formal was sharing the state treasury while the later improve the state, the only people that are angry with oshiomhole are the people that were sharing the money with the formal, thereby, spreading propaganda against the later.

obailala: The bolded part of your message is one aspect I do not really understand about Nigerians... A person spends 10 times the required amount to provide a basic amenity and people who call themselves enlightened homo-sapiens begin to jump around in wild jubilations...

Not too long ago due to the activities of the oil cabal, it was a tradition to have long fuel queues within the 3 weeks of Christmas.. This was the case during the regimes of OBj and Yaradua but GEJ came in and for the first time, there were no fuel queues in the yuletide period. While people jubilated and still jubilate at this feat, a simple question was asked which should prick the conscience of any sane human being, "At what cost was this feat made possible?"

A comparison of the funds spent on subsidies between the OBJ era and the GEJ era showed that Nigerians had to pay almost an extra 1000% in fuel subsidies bribes to the oil cabal in order for fuel to be supplied for an extra 3 weeks in the year... and this is celebrated!
bro you are very intelligent, we still have people that reason with neutral mind like you cos many people here reason/talk/type with tribal, religious, ethnic sentiments..with this i have hope that there are still people like you in the country who see and reason issues like myself.

hansad: But you cooly forgot that Nigeria was already made a crawling giant by Born To Rule before PDP came in, talkless GEJ of yesterday. Since APC accepted the newPDP members to its fold, APC lost its voice as a credible alternative to PDP.
can you compare nigeria of now and then, things are getting worse my brother, poor educational system;can you compare education of then and now, high cost of living nkor, many more i cant highlight now...In case you dont, things started getting worse for nigeria since 1999 and its getting from worse to worst if i am lying ask elderly man around you nigeria of then and now.

Suarezilla: I am tired of this blind backwardness opposition praticed in Nigeria. It is fierce opposition and it is dangerous to our nation because where you see nothing good in someone's action no matter how glaring a positive move is..u begin to wonder what is the standard of a positive govt in a country. I fault APC on this as they have gone extra miles even to antagonise media clips of GEJ's #Keep doing it# by asking us questions that they aim to provoke our thoughts with and pin us against the govt while seeking for a change which points to them....These are the real enemies of the state!
Do you even know the meaning of an opposition?, did you engage in debate competition when in school?, pdp is even worse if you dont know, they are using religion and ethnicity as propaganda against apc currently which is very dangerous considering how nigeria is a secular country.

ayukdaboss: Bro that's the main reason I and my household will vote for APC. Change of Leadership!! My aunt told me "I can't just imagine what this country will look like under PDP in another 4 years". Let power change hands. At least we know APC will try their best to work hard in order to earn Nigeria's trust for a second term but PDP has already made Nigeria an almost One Party Country so they're not interested in change since they know Nigerians have been brainwashed to follow them like sheep. How can anybody still vote for GEJ looking at the backwardness of this country since his tenure kicked off?
bro.exactly!. seriously, the thing is annoying...not that i am into politics but i understand politics so i get your point and thats what i need too..i tell you, things are getting worse in this country. It baffles me that people still want pdp to continue or are they paid to do so huh.In a senile world, pdp would have been history because they caused damages to this great country by squandering her resources for personal gain.Everything is bad in this country currently, poor educational system, high cost of living, still no stable electricity(and people scream we are in 21st century, HOW?), bad roads, poor network, corruption, crime, injustice, assassination,et al.

berem: don't mind the Op,he simply does not know the meaning of the word "Opposition". If he thinks APC will be like APGA and LP,then he got it absolutely wrong.
Frankly speaking, i am angry at this op, so apc should be rubbing pdp's ego to milk nigeria dry as apga, he should go to edo state and see/hear how pdp spread propaganda against apc state(oshimhole), always looking for fault to spew rubbish on itv(pdp station). he should know pdp started politics of bitterness, thuggery, rigging, et al in nigeria. For example, oshiomhole started it cool in his first tenure by carrying pdp along and telling them(pdp) they are one until they killed his PA and even tried to kill him too.
Politics › Re: What Manner Of An Opposition Party Is APC? by hensben(m): 10:39am On Sep 02, 2014
Engen: Really? Then you don't know anything about politics...The major job of an opposition is to oppose...even when you think the government is doing great the opposition feels they have a better way...
Dont mind op, he is a pdp apologist...you know election is around the corner time to spread propaganda again, even if apc is same as pdp as people claim, we need change haba, i am tired of pdp, 15 years in office and things are getting worse, high cost of living, still no stable electricity and yet everyday we hear trillions of naira on TV.
Politics › Re: What Manner Of An Opposition Party Is APC? by hensben(m): 10:33am On Sep 02, 2014
Op I know you are trying to convince the masses to elect pdp again, incase you dont know pdp started politics of bitterness in nigeria far back or were you not in nigeria?, thats how politics is structured in nigeria. For example, you go to edo state and see/hear how pdp spread propaganda against apc(oshiomhole)...Btw, i am not in support of any political parties because they are all crooks but we need a party like apc to put pdp in check not political party(apga) that will be rubbing their(pdp) ego to steal more and be claiming boss when they are suppose to serve us(masses).
Sports › Enyeama Misses Nigeria A.C.N Qualifiers Due To Family Engagement. by hensben(op): 1:43am On Sep 02, 2014
The Lille man has been allowed to miss the Super Eagles’ matches against Congo and South Africa due to family engagements

Lille goalkeeper Vincent Enyeama will miss Nigeria's Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers with Congo and South Africa.

Enyeama has been granted leave for the two opening matches of the 2015 Afcon qualifiers on September 6 and 10 due to family reasons.

"It's better we excuse him, instead of bringing him down here without him concentrating for the game. I have asked him to sort himself out and he can join us in the future. For now there is no replacement for him because there is no time to do that," Nigeria boss Stephen Keshi explained.

As of the end of Monday, eight players had arrived the Metropolitan Hotel camp of the Super Eagles in Calabar.

Locally-based Kunle Odunlami, Gbolahan Salami, Christian Osaguona and Azubuike Egwuekwe were joined by Godfrey Oboabona, Nosa Igiebor, Ramon Azeez and Uche Nwofor.

The team is still battling with the release of Chinedu Obasi by his club Schalke, who said they have submitted his passport to embassies in Germany in order to procure visas to pursue their Champions League campaign.

Team administrator Dayo Enebi Achor is said to be working hard at ensuring that all players are available for the game.

The team will commence training on Tuesday at the Abraham Ordia Pitch of the University of Calabar.

Y'know Bae,
There are those times when silence is Golden.

With the kind of hateful comments I'm seeing here, if I were to comment, it'd be one of passive aggression, so I'll just let it pass.

However, know this.

The way a guy treats a lady isn't a statement about her (as a human being).
It's a statement about Him.

So, the next time you come across a guy who spews nasty comments and demeans/reduces women to a state of nothingness,
Just know that it's a reflection of the value and worth he places on himself.

You cannot give what you don't have.

Oyibo will say:
Na for where dem dey play, them dey tok true.
