omonnakoda: Kai, me a boy, see insult ooooo. Nairaland is a public forum, we can all comment on threads but we need to do it maturely, statements such as meaningless arguments and calling someone you have never met a boy is insultive, my response was even based on the fact that I have seen several of Ajanlekoko's posts and I knew he was referring to the SWF, I even qualified my statement. Please take it easy, you are taking this exchange too far. |
Politics / Re: Northerners Are Not Controlling Nigeria's Oil Blocks by hercules07: 11:13am On Mar 08, 2013 |
There is a hatred for Northerners in the South, anything anti north gains traction easily. The oil allocation wahala will not exist if the regulatory agencies were on their toes. 2 Likes |

Foreign Affairs / Re: Incredible! American Senator Debates For 13 Hours! by hercules07: 5:54am On Mar 08, 2013 |
pro01: Filibuster, or is that not what it is called? It's permissible in the US Senate, but I'm not sure whther the rules permit or forbid it in Nigeria's National Assembly. I can imagine the Senate President (or indeed any other disgruntled senator) calling you to order if you attempt to filibuster (for a merely 20 minutes sef) to prevent the passage of bill and whatnot. First time we are in agreement. |

Goodgoody1: Which truth, when he was head of state what did he do to diversify the economy, did he not also award oil blogs to his kingsmen in the North that today own over 80% of the Nigerian oil blogs. Please list those he awarded the contracts to with proof, I am sure you were still swimming around in your popsie balls when he led the country. 1 Like |

texazzpete: Do not mind these guys, because we pay taxes, we will dump all of our responsibilities on the government, the traders are filth personified, the government needs to break up the cartels in that place, build appropriate structure and tax them appropriately, if the traders require LAWMA, let them approach LAWMA for their services. 1 Like |

Dede1: The governor of Lagos State exemplifies the decadence rooted in Nigerian system of education. How could a person with a SAN appended to his moronic name only think of ban or closure of certain activities in the state? The complex where my office is situated also generates a lot of money for the state government yet, we do not wait for Fashola before keeping the environment tidy, the two sides are not blameless but the traders are filthy people and the market should be shut down, restructured and an arrangement between the market and the LAWMA should be ironed out, I am even more concerned about the fake spare parts sold there, that should be next item to be thrashed out. 2 Likes |

Tolexander: Is he just waking up? Just because he has just declared his ambition to be the governor of anambra, that is when he now realised there is a need to make an agitation for his people. There is even something more important to be done and that is the issue of fake spare parts, there is a need to develop a market around genuine parts, the environment issue is easier to deal with. |
Politics / Re: Uba Appeals To Fashola To Re-open Ladipo Market by hercules07: 4:32am On Mar 04, 2013 |
Obiora4life: Mr Senator Ndi Anambra, The market is in Lagos, relocating elsewhere means someone else will take over, please tell your people to treat their environment better and while they are at it, bring in genuine parts. 2 Likes |

Politics / Re: President Jonathan To Visit Maiduguri On Thursday? by hercules07: 2:05pm On Mar 02, 2013 |
taharqa: I hope you know what a STATE VISIT is?? Does it bear any semblance to d 'Emergency' type visit you just described? He does not need a bloody state visit, he needs to go there to show he is on top of things, even a state visit can be scheduled in less than a week, the governor will gladly accommodate the President if he asks nicely, what is the big deal about going to see the governor of a state and his state, it is not as if the Maiduguri guys send the president. |
Politics / Re: President Jonathan To Visit Maiduguri On Thursday? by hercules07: 11:43am On Mar 02, 2013 |
taharqa: If any person actuali believe that a PRESIDENT, any President, wud schedule a STATE VISIT in less than a week, that person must be an irredeemable IJIOT and complete IGNORAMOUS. But then again, there are a lot of such on NL; So no surprises... Bros stop that one jare, Maiduguri is in a state of emergency and Jona can pay an unscheduled visit, all he needs to do is give the governor 24 hours notice, even POTUS does that. 1 Like |
