How does it gain national acceptance if non-Yoruba believe Tinubu will turn the national coffers into his petty cash and appoint his kids as senators (nominating his kids as senatorial candidates is not illegal after all)? Of course the ACN may not care about winning elections outside the SW, so one may wonder why it is bothering with merging with other parties to challenge PDP nationally.

The choice of the General Iyaloja is not usually by popularity, it is by influence, the traders in those markets need someone with influence, someone who is well connected, who has the ears of the powers that be, those traders need concessions from government, who better to pursue their case if not someone close to the seat of power, I am sure they are okay with the choice as they can get concessions from government through her, let another government that is not ACN come in, once they smell that she is vulnerable and of no use to them, they will kick her out and install someone with influence, those traders are good politicians. I am sure Tinubu put in a good word for the daughter with the Oba, he is just being a father, the decision I am sure was that of the Oba of Lagos.
On the imposition of candidates, ACN does that because they do not want their primaries to be hijacked, a lot of people decamp into ACN, it will be so easy to hijack the party, especially with PDP that has bottomless source of fund. I am all for good people to be presented, whether through primaries or selection.

• Efficient allocation of resources;
• Price stability through the curbing of inflation problems;
• Acceleration of economic growth through increase in per capita income;
• Achieving balance of payment;
• Controlling the consumption of goods and services which are considered harmful;
• Preventing the dumping of goods that could be hazardous to citizen’s health into the country and;
• Fashioning a good package of social welfare schemes for the young, the employed and the old.

With these entire factors put in place, I see a good foundation being laid down for an enduring Anti-Corruption Crusade and effective campaign for a moral rebirth and regeneration in Nigeria. To do otherwise, is an open invitation for another donkey years of wastefulness and total emptiness of policies.
