"Where are the Christians who sold the Church? The Islamic agenda is being perfected. Prof Ishaq Oloyede, a prominent Islamic fanatic who said he was not aware Christians are being attacked and killed is now to head JAMB replacing Prof Ojerinde, a Baptist.
Four Muslims were not replaced, but left to continue. Out of the 17 offices, 9 new replacement are Muslims and 4 retained are Muslims. 13 out of 17 are now Muslims. NUC, Muslim, JAMB, Muslim; TETFUND , Muslim.
Where are those Christian leaders who sold the Church for a plate of porridge?

The fact that Buhari released these appointments the same day, the PUNCH Newspaper published an Editorial titled"Buhari's parochial appointments", a paper that endorsed his candidacy is a dirty slap on the nation.
To say the least, it is a corruption with immunity. Many are afraid and being intimidated by the security operatives. Have we become second class citizens in our own country?"
MY TAKE:
Sadly the answer to the question is "YES", Christians are now second class citizens in Nigeria. We warned our people but they wouldn't listen.
Nigerians said they wanted "change" and now they must live with it. Every Christian that supported President Buhari and the APC, including some of the most prominent Church leaders, should bow their heads in shame.
As long as this evil continues we will not remain silent and neither shall we be intimidated. No matter how hard they try Nigeria will NEVER be Islamised and neither will our faith be rubbished.
Rather than add to the injury sustained by fellow Christian soldiers in the battle of life through mockery and condemnation and the likes, help to support and aid the recovery of the wounded. You become weak and vulnerable each time a fellow Christian falls.
Pastors fighting pastors, churches fighting churches.
We call our Christian leaders to at least float a political party against the next coming election
Politics is dirty because we left it for dirty people. We must rise to do the needful and stop complaining.

You made it sound as if all was well and good during the GEJ administration. Since when has massive embezzlement become good? Since when has corruption become something desirable (that is not to say there is no corruption in this APC govt)?

This essentially 'Christian vs Muslim' dimension to national politics is mischievous. And politicians love it! When Dasuki was sharing money with Deziani, no one talked about religion. When FFK was sharing money with Musliu Obanikoro, religion was not an issue. When Fayose was receiving money from Adamu Muazu religion was relegated to the background.

Are you God's child in Jesus Christ? Then sin has no power over you! Rom 6:2, 6, 14. You are no longer in bondage to sin. In other words you CAN overcome that sinful habit. Those verses are not saying you CANNOT sin again. They are saying the power to overcome every sin in in you.

There are some things a child cannot handle yet. But when that child is more matured then he is more enabled to handle them. My advice is that as you strive to overcome this sin, go to environments (church, or around some people) where you can grow in the spirit. Unfortunately, not all 'churches' fall into this category. As you begin to grow, some sins and evil desires will fall off you! Doing them becomes so stupid!

But as you overcome some lusts, be assured that some other temptations await you ahead! So no stopping until we are out of this flesh. Never give up!

That those countries don't do capital punishment is NOT the reason they have lower crime rate! Sensible societies evaluate issues and decide what is good for them. They don't just unthinkingly import stuff because it is from EU! If China didn't do capital punishment they may not be where they are today.

While I am neither here nor there on the death sentence, calling people primitive because of their view on death penalty is unwarranted. In the US of A about 70% of their states have death penalty. I guess they are all primitive.

Even if no state in US does capital punishment, every case can be examined with its culture and society. Chinese are chief on capital punishment but they are progressing. I know it is not capital punishment that makes them progress but they decided it was relevant and useful for their society.

Not everything that Europe says is suitable for you. Dappertwayne. You know it is illegal to teach the creation story in some Western nations. Maybe we should import that too!

A professor doesn't have 2 heads; agreed. But you should understand that a professor represents intellectual attainment. So if we treat such persons with disdain then what do we value in our country? So many of us are angry not because it happened to a professor per se, but what he represents.

Some call Nigeria a zoo. While I don't agree with such gross generalization, such action of police to a professor is condemnable! But Nigeria may be fulfilling this Zoo tag if this case if not pursued to a logical conclusion and the culprits sanctioned appropriately. Also the Nigeria Police must be asked to pay damages to the professor.

Now, I am not saying this because a professor has two heads. No. It is because a professor represents height of academic attainment. A professorship is symbolic! This makes the whole saga more nauseous. It seems the only thing we value is money.

The problem is with the parents, most parents don't discuss these things with their kids I don't know whether it's deliberate or they aren't brave enough to have conversations concerning the aforementioned issue Cos this is gradually eating up the younger generation!!!

While I am not for child sexualization, how do you teach puberty effectively without image? As long as it is not a real picture but a drawing, I think it is OK. There is a thin line between sex education and child sexualization and we must draw the line. We should not deceive ourselves, they need to be taught PROPERLY by a responsible adult so that they won't be mislead by their friends. Besides Google answers everybody- child or adult.
