Bro, with that amount (if there likely to be no other funding) whatever business you start must be one with quick turnover. You can't afford to invest in business that would take some time to start yielding revenue.

Most businesses that fall in the category described above are product selling business, eg edibles, household stuff, etc.

Service businesses usually take longer time to earn money. But if you can wait, then you can't go for it too.

For me, even we the regular citizens aren't ready for it. We've been polarised along both ethnic and religious lines that we either frown or smile at the arrest of an offender based on what tribe or religion they are.

The politicians understand these faultlines are where they derive most of their support and would ensure they keep us reminded of their existence. Therefore, in order to initiate the process of fixing the system, we need to invest heavily in the education of our people; the more educated they are, the more unlikely they are to be used as patsies and pawns by these politicians.

While I agree with you in some way, I think these kind of issues will be better addressed in the context of a restructured Nigeria.

Devaluation will at least increase FDI - that's foreign direct investment (as it's been doing in China) - if the government would man up and divert our foreign reserve to MASSIVE infastructural reform and development. Thus I think the idea of defending the Naira now is plain madness.

Is it When inputs that we import for production becomes too high for manufacturers? Or when as a result of this companies layoff workers and unemployment rises to 75%. I gave the above response in order to say something AND also because it is true. The issue of career in this day and time has much to do with your passion and that unique contribution you can make, whether in business, politics, non profit, etc.

As someone suggested you may take a professional cause in some career line that interest you. Also there are firms who want a smart graduate who can add value to their organization regardless of course of study. I know such firms may be few.

As for me I have a career in organization architecture. I help build effective human systems.
