What I'm against is someone somewhere using the hell card to blackmail people to hell fire when he himself is not perfect. It's not deeds that gives man eternal life its the grace of Jesus. And while a Man's spirit is redeemed at salvation. His soul is unrenewed. The process of transforming one's mind is a gradual encounter with study of the word of God...

That a man who gave his life today went to beer parlour to drink guineas to stupor is not good. But believe me, he has not lost his salvation. Going there as a preacher and shouting that he would go to hell for drinking guiness is a stupid thing to do.
Rather tell him the disadvantage and let the Holy spirit do the rest.

My points

1)The violence narrated in the book Songs Of Ice and Fire(which was filmed as GoT) is smaller to the violence narrated in the Bible.

2) The sexual activities narrated in GoT is inferior to the sexual immorality narrated by the bible. In GoT a brother and Sister had sex which was the OP's point. But in the bible it was narrated of how two sisters raped their father.

So if GoT and Old Testament narrate both alarming scenes then where is the issue with GoT?

The issue with GoT comes from the explicitness of these scenes when it was converted into a film. Sometimes they showed what was more than necessary. You could easily decide to fastforward those scenes. Simple!

3) Are those sex Scenes good for a Christian? No, they aren't, I stated that earlier. And if you choose to avoid the movie for that reason then I respect your choice.

I think the violence in the Bible are more like warning examples for today. Bible writers may have removed them and no one will know about them and use them to criticize Christianity but they left it for us to know the deeds of those before us.

For someone like myself, my perfect way of relaxation is to watch a good movie or series if possible. But with the way Hollywood is going, it seems they have a plan to push all devout people off the ends of the earth by propagating scenes that would either offend them or turn them away from faith.
And many Christians are falling for it by withdrawing and withdrawing until there would be no where to withdraw to, while other Christians are swallowing up all Hollywood's content without remorse. Well this is a secondary school, the idea isn't to show off mind blowing infrastructure. Even in the West, the average high school isn't so much about architectural masterpiece.

The greatest seat of power in the world - the White House is so basic that Trump would have preferred to rule from Maralago if possible. The US can afford to build the biggest hi-tech villa in the world. But that's not their priority.

The priority of living faith is not to dream up expensive and unnecessary architecture but to provide quality education and biblical grooming to young adults.
