Ask your fore fathers who practiced human rituals and killed many to appease demons and were stopped by Christianity. Ask your fore fathers who practiced OSU caste system which has been largely pushed back by Christianity Ask your fore fathers who were cured of common and treatable sicknesses which erstwhile killed many in their communities by medical missionaries. Ask your fore fathers who sacrifice twins because their gods and demons wanted it so, which Christian missions eventually stopped. Ask your fore fathers who lived in forests bare naked and were clothed after being found by mission groups. Ask your fore fathers who were the ones who risked everything including dear life to give education a people lost and groping in darkness. Ask your forefathers who helped them dig up clean water to drink instead of the erosion laced water they erstwhile drank. Ask your fore fathers who taught them to stick with one wife during an era when men acquired women as properties and assets Ask your fore fathers who gave women hope by insisting on the principles of monogamy which has now ushered an era of equality where women see themselves as co-equal with men simply because the missionaries also empowered them by giving them free education. Ask your forefathers these many questions you bloody ingrates, hpocritic generation of vipers! |
Desyner lalasticlala come and see Nigerian Churches have been running universities even before private universities were licensed to exist and we never hear of this kind of rubbish in maladministration. These funny ppl can't even decide whether the Uni is Private or Public...They refused to pay their developers and even have a poor organizational hierachy. I have often said we should turn over this country and its finances to the churches we so much bash and you would see real transformation in all sectors. |
dataideas:Why not post this as a different thread. And add screenshots from Twitter. |

pyyxxaro:A catholic uni in south east Nigeria |
Some fellas would ignore the fact that she had 9As in her Waec and start attacking her skul. This one would do well whether in UNN or Oxford.. |
Actually the first person to get a Job from my class after we graduated from school was the only third class graduate amongst us. The second guy who barely got a 2.2 now works in his father's company. Many of the 2.1s are still at home. I'm not trying to encourage mediocrity but the Nigerian labour market is more complex that y'all think. |
christejames:Delta State polytechnic.... It's a polytechnic not a university... |
Mikaelson21:You mean the one that was rolled away? Or is it still there? |
LegendaryArnold:I did say that seeing the CU and EUI stadium inspired me to compile the list lol. |
SpoiltVirgin:Really? Why did u say so? |
toideve:Ozoro is not a University. But admittedly it should rank top in Nigeria if included. |
Etienz:Direct sales agent abi? How did they describe the Jos description to you? What was the interview questions like? |
Desyner:Not to talk of the Maintenance cost. The more private unis build infrastructures the more the Maintenance cost which can run into hundreds of millions at times. I heard Oyedepo say in an interview that was posted here on NL that it cost 380 million to maintain one segment of the CU staff quarters. Now imagine how much it would take to maintain students residence, especially male hostels where things gets destroyed easily. And yet it would take 12 landmark university students school fees to pay one professor's annual salary. If Universities were so easy to run let the Critics ask govt how far. |
If you have an idea of what their Job Description is pls let me Know. Thank u.... |

After seeing pictures of Edo University Stadium and Covenant University stadium I got inspired to compile a list of African Universities with the best stadia. Unfortunately, the vast majority of top notch African Universities don't have good sporting facilities. For this list I considered universities in South Africa, Ghana, Egypt, Nigeria etc.. Mountain Top University is clearly creating a niche for itself in Music. God bless DK Olukoya and the MFM family. Lalasticlala Desyner |
Sir I bet you that this your thread would be barred or hidden in no time by the mods But you are right, there is nothing remotely prophetic about mohammed. |
Desyner:Lol I never saw this thread before.. I can imagine them going to Canaanland with the intention of shutting CU or going to Bellstech. They would all sleep in kirikiri prison ![]() |
modelmike7:Because your country keeps churning out kids like pure water also. By 2050 Nigeria's population would have risen drastically and you need Private Schools to service them less Government would break down trying to school them in public schools. As long as a private school is of good quality let them license it. |

Himmler:Hmm this reminds me of an experience I once had in a Church. There was a service going on and then the service became intense and the next thing I knew some of my friends at the teenage church began to scream. One began to rotate and scream(Now this kind of stuff is strange and terrifying to me because i was raised in an Orthodox Christian Home-ECWA) I started praying but I was so terrified, some of the ladies began falling on chairs. The lady singing apparently had gone into a trance also- the service was simply chaotic. But as the prayer became very intense I opened my eyes, I saw a white bird fly from one of the girls being prayed for with a very sharp and loud sound mehn I nearly fainted in fear. I quickly closed my eyes and started praying. To my greatest shock it appears I was the only one who heard and saw the bird. That day I knew for a certainty there are spiritual dimensions to what we see physically. |
Empredboy:We are talking A you are talking Z. I thought this thread was about talking about the wealth of God's servants ![]() |
