What's wrong with these preachers? They collect tithe from local church, all branches remit 100% tithe to headquarter, they sell devotional materials, they collect seeds, firstfruits seeds, they collect special and sacrificial seeds AND YET, NEVER SATISFIED but still asking seeds for God to bless people.

The God I know does NOT operate like MMM or baba ijebu....

What money do you think they use to run the ministry? How do they maintain buildings? How do they do outreaches? How do they publish books? How do they afford electricity? How do they pay for all the utility workers in church? How do they afford busses and cars? How do they fuel them?

Do you think that the money used in running a ministry falls from the sky? Do you think that all the tithe goes to the pastors bank account?

THINK! THINK! THINK!

You have no problem receiving from God but when He asks you to give you start to squeeze your face.

You see tithes as pastors salary, which is not the case. When you give, you give for the spread of the gospel, for the furtherance of God's agenda on this planet.

Or do you think pastors poop all the money used in running their ministry's? Think!

The veil of deceit cast on their eyes that was preventing the light of the glorious gospel of Jesus to shine through has finally been torn off! Hallelujah! There is a celebration in heaven now!

The resurrection of Jesus Christ is probably the most important event in Christianity. Apostle Paul said, "If Christ has not been raised, our preaching is useless and so is your faith" (I Cor 15:14). He also said, "if Christ has not been raised, your faith is futile; you are still in your sins". Did it really happen, though? Let's look at the evidence.

1. The Empty Tomb And The Men In White

Mark, which was the first gospel to be written, describes the incident in chapter 16:

Is it reasonable to accept this as evidence that Jesus rose from the dead? Let's see.

Jesus was the T B Joshua of his time. He came from a humble background, was loved by the masses because of his miracle ministry, and was hated by the religious establishment which didn't accept him as a true man of God and felt that his teachings were unscriptural.

Now lets imagine that T. B Joshua died, and then 3 days later the 3 women who were closest to him when he was alive in his ministry came to you with this story: That they went to T B Joshua's grave to pray and lay flowers, but when they got there, they saw that the grave had been opened, the body missing and a young guy in a white suit was sitting there. And the guy told them that T B Joshua had risen from the dead.

Would it be reasonable to believe that T B Joshua had risen from the dead on the basis of this testimony? Wouldn't you be suspicious that T B Joshua's body had been stolen by his top pastors to make it appear that he had risen? That the man in white was just an accomplice of the thieves? That maybe the women were hallucinating due to their grief, or simply lying to hype their hero and crush?

Luke's Gospel, written about 10 years later, describes the same incident thus:

Notice how the story has been altered to solve the issues with the first one, and spiced up?

Imagine if, in the hypothetical case of TB Joshua's alleged resurrection, the women who told you about his empty grave came back 10 years later to tell the same story. But this time, instead of a young man in a white suit who was sitting by the grave when they arrived, they claim that there was no one at T B joshua's grave initially and then suddenly, two men in glowing suits as bright as the sun (implying angels) appeared before them and gave them a scriptural lesson. Would those changes make the story more believable to you, or less so?

2. Appearing To His Closest Followers

According to Mark's Gospel,

In short, Jesus' closest followers claimed that he appeared to them at various times after his body went missing. Jesus closest followers had everything to lose by his death, and everything to gain by getting people to believe the resurrection story. They had sold all their posessions and left their families and professions to join Jesus' ministry. With his death, that ministry was finished, but the ressurection story brought it back to life. Knowing about this serious conflict of interest, it reasonable to accept their testimony as evidence that the resurrection actually happened?

If TB Joshua died and the top pastors in his church said he appeared to them, would you believe it for one moment?

3. His Appearance To 500 Believers

According to 1 Corinthians 15:6,

This would seem like the least weak evidence for the resurrection, due to the sheer number of potential witnesses, until you start to wonder why none of the Gospels mentioned it. Not even imaginative Luke of the robes as white as lightening. Why would all the Gospel writers have choosen to leave out what would have been their strongest evidence? 500 witnesses! Because it didn't happen? Because it was too early to tell such a big lie and get away with it? I don't know.

And even if we want to at issume that it happened, we must not forget that it would be quite easy for any illusionist to stage the appearance of Jesus to people who strongly want to believe that he is still alive. Benny Hinn tells a story about Jesus appearing during one of his crusades, and people believe it.

Conclusion:
The evidence for the resurrection of Jesus is a bunch of testimonies attributed to people who had every reason to lie during a period when people were far more superstitious and gullible than we are today because they didn't have science. It's not sufficient to convince an objective modern person that a 3 day old corpse whose brain and heart would have decayed considerably actually came back to life, held meetings in person with various people, and then ascended into outer space. Or ... What do you think?

The gospel is basically a testimony of Jesus, the Son of God who took God's full wrath and judgment for the sins of the whole world, so all who humble themselves and believe in Him can receive forgiveness for their sins, be justified, and have peace with God.

From the above scripture, the message of the gospel is obvious.

The message of the gospel, which means good news, is BELIEVE. Jesus said that for any man to enter into God's Kingdom he must be born again. To be born again, such a person must believe in Him.

To believe means to accept as being true. And once a person believes, God immediately crucifies their old spirit on the cross with Jesus and gives them a new spirit created according to true righteousness and holiness.

Nowhere in the scriptures does God ask us to relate with Him based on proof. He understands that although we are Spirits, as long as we live in this physical house which is our body, we'll be more dominated by what we perceive through our five senses. God knew that men would demand proof of everything witnessed by scriptures, that's why He asks us to believe only.

Because believing we are putting the facts and knowledge contained in our peanut brains aside and humbling ourselves before The Almighty Go, which is what God wants. Only the humble ever get anything from God.

The gospel is stupid and foolish. It is not to be proved, but believed.

The Jews and Greeks of today could be identified as the intellectuals of the day, who demand signs and wisdom but God won't give them any.

God's existence can't be proved, Period. Nowhere in the bible are we asked to have an intellectual knowledge of God, but rather we are asked to Believe in Him.

The truth is, God, Jesus, the Bible, satan, hell, angels, spirits and all those sorts of things go against common human reasoning. We live in a physical world, and even though we are Spirits living in bodies as long as we are in this world we'll always be more dominated by what we see, taste, hear, or feel!

I'm so tired of people arguing day and night about whether or not God exists. The truth is He does exist. He loves us. He sent His Son to die for us. God is not being adamant about the evil things happening in this world.

'The Lord is not slow to fulfill His promise as some understand slowness, but is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish but everyone to come to Repentance'. (2 Peter 3:9)

The truth is that satan, the god of this world has more influence than God does. I mean, it's obvious! Someone who goes half-naked on social media gets more likes and comments than someone fully clad, bad news dominates the news, lying, dishonest gain and all sorts are more prominent.

Also, satan, the God of this world and the father of lies, has caused people to believe that there is no God, and even if there is, He doesn't Love them.

God cannot be proved, He transcends all human wisdom and reasoning.

Summary: Let's stop arguing with atheists about whether or not God exists, and let's stop arguing with Muslims or spiritualists also. You can't convince them through arguments. Satan has blinded the minds of all unbelievers, caused them to see the gospel as foolish, caused them to rely on their foolish wisdom, and exerts heavy influence on them.

The best we can do for all atheists and deceived people (muslims, Hindus, etc) is pray that God tears off the veil of unbelief cast on them by satan and puts them in the path of diligent laborers who will bear witness of the glorious Gospel of my Lord and Savior, Jesus the Messiah, bearing witness also with signs and wonders, and bring to them the good tidings of the Kingdom of Yahweh, The Most High God.

Bottom line: God Is, Jesus is Lord and the Spirit of truth is here!

Well...it's a business.

We all know the world's religions, one of which is Christianity, except deceitful folks.

The term Christianity was given to people who saw the early Christians. They saw them and began to call them disciples of christ, then they call them Christ-like, then they called them Christians.

When you see it as Christianity, a religious term, you automatically lump it in with all demonic practices in the world. The more appropriate term for us is 'Believers in Jesus the Messiah'.

We don't practice religion in the sense that we are chasing after a God by observing man made laws. It is, however, a relationship with Yahweh, the one through God, which is achieved by His Grace (His unearned favour) working in sync with our faith (in what Jesus the Messiah did for us).

God originally created man to have continuous and never-ending fellowship with Him, but man sinned a fell from God's Grace. But God, in His Love, sent His Son to be the sacrificial lamb for the sins of the entire world, so that all men, believing in Jesus, will be able to have fellowship with Him. Jesus took the punishment of the world's sins which we rightfully deserve (judgment) and now because He has been judged in our place, we get what we don't deserve (salvation).

What differentiates us Believers in Jesus from the religions of the world is the presence of a Savior, Jesus the Messiah, who made it possible for us to have a relationship with a God who isn't far away and wants to be known intimately. Our salvation isn't dependent on our works, but on the works of Jesus.

Religion, on the other hand seeks after a god who doesn't want to be known, their salvation is in their own hands and by their own works.

So next time, before jumping to conclusions and criticizing somebody for what he is doing, first understand why he is doing it and it will all make sense.

3. He is considered a celebrity by many in the congregation, as they have huge love and respect for him. Some people might get overzealous and probably try to rush him.... Let's be honest he is an old man and doesn't have that mush physical strength, so if he were to be be rushed by a crowd of say 1000 people he probably won't survive it. This is something that all public figures do so its nothing new if you ask me.

2. He has gotten death threats from most likely prominent people. Sometime this year, when we went to the faith tabernacle for the annual youth alive program, I saw the ushers come in with bomb detection devices to scan the entire altar before papa came in.

They scanned the flowers and I think the floor of the altar. The chair that he sits on isn't left in the church after the service, but is taken with him and brought back when he is about to enter for a service. So obviously, he has been getting death threats, most likely from politicians.. I mean what random person is rich enough to buy bombs to kill a man.

Greetings, everybody. People these days can be so critical of issues, especially when they have little or no information regarding them. Those people aren't bodyguards, and even if they are, I believe he is justified for doing so because:

1. They are not bodyguards, but ushers. Even in my school, Covenant university, this same thing is observed in the chapel when we have services. I therefore conclude that it is standard winners protocol. Even yesterday during Shiloh, when I was participating from a viewing center, I noticed that during the altar call the ushers went to stand in front of the altar (there were about 8 of them, I guess) and the altar was empty.. There was no preacher on it... So if you are an active member of that church you'd understand and not just be critical about it.

In fact human life span is longer in modern times but 1000s of years ago it was 20-30 years because of decreased safety and lack of developed medicine.

don't be so selfish to think an imaginary creature is trying to kill us all. People die for all sorts of reasons, diseases is natural, disasters are natural, accidents are natural. If you put yourself in situations that decrease your safety then your more likely to get harmed, its simple probabilities.

When you drive a car on the road your putting your trust into strangers to have the same understanding of the road laws as you do. If you drive frequently then your probability of having an accident goes up compared to someone who doesn't drive but prefers to walks. Praying to a God to protect you from a car crash is not going to protect you from a car crash. You're better of increasing your SAFETY by taking precautions.

Every original has a counterfeit, but in the end, there is only one original.

FYI Christianity is not a religion. The name Christianity was something that started during the days of the first church. Christianity is a relationship with God.

All other religions are fabrications of the devil. Even in Christianity he has been able to gain influence and produce all sorts of corrupt practices.

If you want people to question something's authenticity, all you have to do is create many counterfeit ones with similar characteristics to the original, and people will suddenly be confused as to which is true.

You believe diseases are natural, but I can tell you that they are not. All evil proceeds from one source, the devil. The very fact that you believe they are natural is because he has blinded you to the truth. Just because something can be explained naturally doesn't means its not from a spiritual source.

FYI God protects everyone, even those that don't ask for it. You woke up this morning because God preserved you. All day every day 24/7 365 days every year the devil and his angels are constantly working to cut your life short, but God protects you.

Christianity is the only belief system in this world that offers salvation from a loving God who lovingly allowed His Son to be the atoning sacrifice for the world's sins. This God is seeking to be known and desires to walk with everyone of us.

All religion offers is a way to appease an angry god who is pissed at you and so far away and so elusive, that you spend your whole life seeking him and finding nothing.

All these so-called gods in all the religions of the world are the devil and his demons.

Life is a projected reality. At our very core, everyone is a spirit.

This is my own take on this issue:

1. For starters, I'm neither a religionist nor an atheist but don't deny there is Universal Intelligence/God.

2. I feel God Almighty has nothing to do with religions. Religions are man-made, and the gods of religions were great ancient beings deified by people of their time, with those beliefs passed down from generations to generations.

3. I see God Almighty as the totality of existence. Anybody that's science-savvy knows that it's the way of the science to find summation of things, commonly represented with Greek letter sigma (upper case). Hence, the terms, "totality of consciousness", "totality of existence", shouldn't seem absurd.

4. No one can deny existence, and it's possible for an entity to exist, not bounded by time and space. Hence, the saying God has no beginning and end.

5. Humans, animals, plants, all conscious entities (micro or macro) are all parts of God. In essence, each soul is a god.

6. God Almighty isn't a sky daddy seeking worship or prayers. Love of worship and prayers is an attribute of man.

7. We're the ones that create this reality; we're the co-creators of our own reality (a minute part of God in action).

8. Almighty God, the totality of existence, hasn't created hell fire for anyone. The universe comprises cycles of births, deaths, and rebirths.

9. Ultimately, every conscious entity will reunite with God Almighty after many lives and return to their initial state, not bound by time and space. That state is what is called by many names in religions — Heaven, Janat, Nirvana, Valhalla, etc. The heaven version in religions has been corrupted as a place only meant for devotees of a particular religion.

10. Ours is a mysterious world; what's discovered pales in comparison with things not discovered yet; for instance, many scientists say much of the reality in the universe we see and know is only a small part of the real components of the universe. The majority (around 86%) is composed of dark matter and dark energy, little of which is known by today's science.

11. I have come up with my own opinion using inductive reasoning and intuition and of course reading various books in philosophy, science, and esoteric literature.

According to God's Word, there is an evil spirit at work in all unbelievers. And that makes sense, because when man fell he lost his godly nature and assumed the devil's nature.

God made us to live forever in this world and in heaven, but ever since man's fall, man's life span has been reducing consistently, from about 930 years to currently 70 - 90 years.

Everything around us is trying to kill us because the god of this world (Satan) has made it so. All these diseases and bad stuff are a part of his influence over this world.

Bro, God is an everlasting being. He never had a beginning and will never have an end. He is the I Am. The truth is, God's history is a mystery that will be revealed to all believers when we are taken up to heaven.

Nobody is smart enough to figure out where God came from and nobody is so smart that they can't see that everything in existence was created by a Creator.
