To the Niger Deltans, it is better the oil facilities are destroyed so that everybody will suffer what they have been suffering.

If you check the oil blocks allocations, you will see reasons for their agitation because it is mostly people from a certain geopolitical zone

The oil is in their land but they are not benefiting from it

No problem, who go suffer?
More soldiers would invade their space soon.
And they would begin to cry that economic activities have grind to a halt.
We are observing...
Sending more soldiers to the Niger Delta would be a national disaster. How will the soldiers even fight with those fishes when fighting on land is a problem in sambisa?

Any soldier sent there to fight may or may not return because to even enter their communities, you must use boat.

I wish Buhari can forget his pride and tyrannical tendencies so as to face this ND issue diplomatically.

BOKO HARAM started as a small group with its base in Borno town until the government decided to send soldiers to "finish them". That singular barbaric approach kept us where we are today as it drove them to sambisa.

Chibuzoc:
According to TheCapital.Ng ''Those who are familiar with his antics believe that he can easily build an illustrious career doing stand-up comedy.
This is because Fani-Kayode, like an unrepentant high school miscreant, is back on his grind again, telling people stories and lifting their hopes, so that he could dash them against the jagged rock of disappointment.

Even in cell, Fani-Kayode is at his ridiculous best; by a radical twist of fate, the former aviation minister has turned pastor in the EFCC cell. The Capital findings revealed that Fani-Kayode started parading himself as a holy man of God immediately he was locked behind bars. He wakes fellow inmates up in the morning with worship and praise songs and he subjects them daily to intense prayer sessions by the hour.

Besides his newfound vocation as a pastor, Fani-Kayode is also going round the jail cell promising fellow inmates that he will intervene in their favour and initiate strategic public relations efforts in their interest to repair their badly damaged reputation. Most of his newfound clients were reportedly detained by the EFCC in respect of several cases of fraud.

It would be recalled that he was detained by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) since he became a person of interest in an N840 million misappropriation investigation. The EFCC arrested him two weeks ago for interrogation. Under intense scructiny, Fani-Kayode admitted to receiving the money which allegedly emanated from the account of the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN)'' http://www.ezehvalen.com/2016/05/femi-fani-kayode-now-pastor-in-efcc-cell.html

The most important thing is for the OP to put the demand of N300, 000 on record for evidence purpose. Once that is done, it becomes easier to pursue the case in court. It may take time and some pain but the police will be nailed. I believe being convicted for receiving stolen goods involves knowledge that the goods being received is stolen. The mechanic is in the ordinary course of his business. You need a good lawyer though.
Trying to get evidence to indict the police who is also the prosecutor is a first step towards losing this case.

If you have spent some time as a lawyer, you will understand how futile fighting the police can be.

Moreso, the car owner can even accept to have requested that amount as his cost of recovering the car if the mechanic wanted out of court settlement.

Okay boss... Will do that now..

It's really a serious set up
Make sure you get a lawyer to release him on bail at the police station before he is charged to court, otherwise he might spend months (if not years) awaiting trial.

From your brief explanation, it is not a bad case if,
1. The accused is a known auto-mechanic with a known office address.
2. If he was seen within a distance not too far from his shop, close enough to show that he was in a test driving.
3. If he has the phone number of his customer and records can show that there was no other kind of conversation but that of car fixing.

Romance › Re: Should I Cancel My Marriage Plans? by histemple: 1:35pm On May 16, 2016
ilovemylife:
I met a guy of 31 through my elder sister, last year February. He started asking me out but because I just came out of a bad relationship, I told him that I am not yet ready to go into a relationship now but he hanged on until August, by then we had become good friends and we started dating.

But three months into the relationship I noticed that my boyfriend has a thing with a lady that stays in the same street with me, a lady I have known all my life cos we grew up together, I confronted him and he told me that it was just a Fling and nothing more, so I told him to please stop whatever he is doing with the girl because we know each other and he promised too. I trusted him to because I can't be going around checking up on a man old enough to take care of himself. So during his birthday this year, he told me the girl called him to wish him happy birthday and asked him hope she will be getting an invite for the party, so he asked me if he should invite her, I told him he can that I don't have a problem with that. So he invited her for the birthday party and she came for the party and my boyfriend introduced me to her as his girlfriend, in that same party my boyfriend gave me the surprise of my life when he asked me to marry him and I accepted.

We are now planning for our traditional wedding which is coming up July but I was shocked to find out that my husband to be is still sleeping with that same girl because I stumble on their whatsapp chat. I feel like my world is crashing before my very eyes, I am so confused, what should I do. I haven't confronted him yet and I am not ready to because I don't want another series of lies and deceit. This is man that has taken very good care of my financial but what of emotional and again it's not all about money for me because I am not going to be a poor wife. Should I walk out of this relationship and cancel the wedding plans? I am so confused now, because if he truly loves me as he claims, he should be able to respect me, another question I wanted to ask him is this, why that lady.

Please nairalanders, what should I do, confront him or what, I have even discussed this with any of my family member. And since this incident I have been very down, so many thought have been crossing my mind.

NB: will be 27 by August
I have always advised wives/husbands to stop scrutinizing their spouse's messages or monitoring every move.
It does more bad than good and it has never helped any relationship to be stronger.

If you love him just marry him and pray for him not to stop cheating but to be a respectful and responsible husband/father. Nobody can stop a cheat.

Which Easterner is a governor in a Northern state?
Which indigen if Ogun is a Governor in Ondo?

Op I understand your concerns but then, I think some state Governors value the education of their indigent students over other things, hence the sacrifice.

If you are suffering this, it means your state has a governor that doesn't take education seriously.
