PoliticsRe: TRUST: The Main Reason For The PDP Crises by HitRun(op): 6:05am On Sep 10, 2022
First of all, Ayu did not sign anything. He only said, without anyone asking, that he will resign if a northerner becomes PdP’s flag bearer.

No sooner had a northerner become the flag bearer, Wike and his group started playing games and eroded the trust that existed in the party. At that point, no sane politician will give you more fuel to increase the volume of the fire you have started.

SlavaUkraini:
Ayu must resign immediately

Wike's camp are not demanding for their candidate to become the new chairman

But they are demanding for Equity, fairness and Justice.....

They are demanding that Ayu should honour the agreement he signed before he became chairman.

Ayu said that if the Presidential candidate comes from the North, that he would resign as chairman of the party.

So he should honour the agreement and resign immediately.

Atiku Abubakar should select Olusegun Mimiko from Ondo State as the new Party chairman....

The man can act as a bridge between both camps.
PoliticsTRUST: The Main Reason For The PDP Crises by HitRun(op): 5:48am On Sep 10, 2022
What is playing out in the PDP is just a game of hide and seek centered on trust, or more accurately put, lack of trust.

The only reason Ayu has refused to resign (and with the full backing of Atiku) is because Atiku does not trust the Wike camp.

If he hands the party structure to a Wike man and they decide to work against him just like what happened in 2015, the damage would be colossal. Atiku would rather take his chances with or without the Wike group rather than hand over the party chairmanship to the camp of someone who has not shown enough commitment to his candidature, allegedly because he, Atiku, did not pick him, Wike as VP candidate.

I am certain that if Wike and his group did not embark on this grandstanding, Ayu would have resigned long ago. But when they saw the path Wike took, Ayu’s resignation became a no go area.
If Atiku wins, Ayu will resign and the chairmanship will go to the south.

Wike can rant all he wants, but he knows that Atiku can not trust his camp with the chairmanship of the PDP before the elections. He and his group either accept this position or do their worst.
HealthRe: Exodus Of Doctors May Worsen Nigeria’s Poor Health Indices, Says NMA by HitRun(m): 7:00am On Sep 07, 2022
Shey that unfortunate short man who parades himself as a one time doctor, but now plies his trade in insulting the sensibilities of of well meaning Nigerians at every given opportunity while discharging his duties as the dishonorable minister of labour (he shall labour in vain), once said we have too many doctors. A shame of a man. God forbid bad thing!

Senselessness, no country or organisation will succumb to the 100% demands of institutions at once, it is not done anywhere, they should better agree to documented installments within a certain period of time and move on, students are the most affected in this strike.
All the times ASUU accepted documented installments, did the govt. keep to the agreements? What do you think all those MOUs and MOAs that were signed previously are?
EducationRe: ASUU Strike: Committee Of VCs Recommend ₦800,000 For Profs, To Resolve Deadlock by HitRun(m): 5:30pm On Sep 06, 2022
Lol. Where you wan find the PhD holders from?

Minus which allowance? Shows how ignorant you are. No de put mouth for Wetin you no know anything about.

Victoronah1:
800k for a professor, that is 9.6miilion a year ,minus other allowances. you guys must be very selfish, and wicked. How much is director at level 16 in a ministry with over 35 years of work salary. Is your job more professional than them. Even permanent secretary salary is not up to 500k. Wicked souls. A teacher at primary school with over 35 years will retire with 70k max, but Una go take almost 800% of the salary. Now I see the reason ASUU is on strike. Federal government should sack all professors, who are into this, and replace them with PHd people who are serious.

In India average salary of a professor is 477,352.78
If not for the devaluation of our currency.

How much are specialized doctors earning.

How much are judges earning. A judge in Nigeria high or appeal court is not up to 400k. Do you know what it takes to become a judge. Nonsense, na only una dey build Nigeria for. Because they call themselves proffers which is a title, then they feel they are superior

How much is universities making for federal government that they should go into debt to pay such amount of money? If universities are making money, they should be able to pay these lecturers with ease.

EducationRe: Paying ASUU 6 Months Arears Will Promote More Strike - Oblivion by HitRun(m): 7:12am On Sep 02, 2022
How about the government does what is right so that ASUU does not go on strike in the first place?

Oblivion34:
ASUU declared a strike in February 2022.

Every meeting with the Union has always ended in deadlock.

The union, however, stood its ground and claims not to shift grounds until all of its demands are met.

Meanwhile, the union president kept referring to how the government has seized their salaries to influence their decisions and stance.

This is the month of September 2022 and the government has met more than 60% of the union demands.

All the striking unions already called off strike the past month after a brief meeting with the government.

ASUU has refused to call off the strike because the Federal government is not willing to pay them their 6 months salary arrears.

They've however been very tactical with the strike time frame. At first, they declared one month strike, then kept increasing the time frame while making it look as if they were willing to call off the strike in good faith.

They declared an indefinite strike after the government had met 60% of their frivolous demands.

Before the federal government thinks about paying the union their 6 months arrears, think about the effect it will have.

ASUU is known for declaring strikes every year because they often get paid before they resume back to class.

Where is it done that a union will declare 6 months strike, and still be expecting a salary for work not done?

There is without a doubt that the union has lost the sympathy of 80% of most Nigerians, and the only thing stopping students from declaring them public enemy No.1 in the educational sector is because of "fear"

If the federal government decides to pay them today, nothing will stop them from declaring a 3-5 years strike tomorrow!!!

ASUU is failing to realize that nobody is happy with the present-day government.

Declaring over 3 months of strike while expecting pay for work not done is selfish, and unjustifiable.

In a sane world, a union is expected to press its demands for a maximum of 3 months before resuming back to classes.

Before declaring an indefinite strike; the union claim they are not going to make up for the lost months if the government fails to pay them

No matter what happens, students will always be at the receiving end.

During our time, lecturers were so inconsiderate after calling off 4 months ASUU strike. They started exams immediately as if we were the cause of the strike/fight.

The bolded part has always been the tradition of ASUU. They don't make up for all the lost months.

"ASUU claims the strike is a sacrifice for the generation to come." They should also be willing to sacrifice their one-year salary for the generation to come.

Paying ASUU will mean more subscriptions to more strikes in the nearest future.

Not paying them their 6 months strike will make them more reasonable before declaring another strike in the nearest future,
(II) It will enable them to give more listening hears to what the government has to offer quicker, rather than standing on what they want!

These PDP people disguising as ASUU have really rubbished education in Nigeria. Just to score some political goals. The teeming youths and students should ask ASUU who are they really fighting for? I have never heard any strike based on student welfare since I was born, it has always been salary, salary and more salary. Bunch of selfish and heartless people.

The covid vaccine did not follow even a minute part of science. No other vaccine in history was used on humans in a couple of months after supposedly finding it without rigorous testing. The science behind the covid vaccine is a scam. Humanity is being used as the guinea pig or lab rat. Have you seen the vaccine injuries, the sudden deaths, the blood clots, e.t.c? This is a depopulation agenda.

I was not talking about the chemistry of the vaccine. I am talking about the function of a vaccine generally. His insinuation that the vaccine is a scam because fully vaccinated people still contract COVID-19 shows that his criticism of the vaccine stems from a position of ignorance.

2023 will be interesting. So all three Aspirants are in London. Deals upon deals going down.

My prediction: Atiku will carry the day and form a unity government with Obi in the picture, and with the understanding that Obi will take over the next government.

he never held two primary forms at same time in his two hands. He lost the presidential primaries and it was over before he obtained form for the senatorial. His victory is in order especially this rerun observed by INEC.
The rerun is legal because the courts directed it, and so INEC had to observe it.

The electoral act as amended is very very clear. You cannot be a contestant for more than one office in one election cycle. Simple.
