We are making a big deal out of it. |
taylor89:That Madridguy is a true enemy of this country... I can still remember vividly how he campaigned for Buhari like his life depends on it. |
smokinloud:lol calm yourself man. 50 years was just yesterday when compared to the years Lagos Enjoyed as the colonial masters #1 administration centre... and also their most preferred trading town because of its geographical location (since mid 19th century) that's a long time.. even before it became the official capital of the Republic (and continued enjoying more attention and national funds than every other regions in the country) Bro let's not fight about this anymore, cos there's no debate here. Just apply common sense. I apologize for my first comment on this topic, I was obviously only trolling that tribal bigot guy (Oops that was you... well you don't sound like that guy anymore),,,, the truth is, I personally hate tribalism. The fact is, No politician in Nigeria is better than the other, none of them truly cares about the development of any region or the entire nation as a whole... It's in their DNA. All they care about is their personal interests, which is... 1. Money & power. 2. Money & power. 3. More money & more power. Sorry have I mentioned Money & power? Ok I have. that's just all that matters to them bro. Quote me anywhere... The earlier we all open our minds and the earlier we all finally realise this fact the better for us and our nation (cos there would be a nation wide uprising and revolution) So if you by any chance honestly think that the political Leaders in Lagos are more patriots than other leaders around the country or that they are inlove with Lagos and fully responsible for it's development...?? Then your IQ and thinking power is lower than I thought(no offence) Lagos is just a beneficiary of national resources right from the 19th century... It's just a fact.. yes today Lagos State is doing great for itself, because it's the most attractive state for both foreign and local investment.. which was all made possible by centuries old advantage, national funds which obviously helped build its strong core foundation (economy, infrastructure etc) Don't give Lagos politicians more credit than they deserve, you seem smarter than that. |
smokinloud:lol well as much as I would love to do that... I dont really have such time. Cos I don't live online like you bro... I got a lot of things going on outside the internet. Bug here is some tips: simply put this keyword in your search engine "beautiful places in Enugu" and see for yourself. If you would love to visit Enugu in person,Holla me for an all paid trip. I'm not a billionaire or looking to waste my money, but i would do it just to enjoy the look in your face when you land in Enugu. |
smokinloud:So your point is... Lagos is what it is today because the British handpicked it out of the rest for its strategic location? Which also led to it being the capital? You just shot yourself in the leg. FYI Abuja became the capital only yesterday, so it's outskirts is still developing(and very fast) Development doesn't happen overnight bro. So I'm not the ignorant one. |
smokinloud:Dumb ass, have you been to Enugu before? Try visit Enugu before opening thread like this. Cos you look ridiculous... |
smokinloud:Before Abuja became the capital of Nigeria what was it like? Just a random undeveloped territory in the centre of the country. But go to Abuja today. It's the most beautiful and most developed territory in Nigeria all because it was named the capital of Nigeria. If you move the capital to Zamfara today the region will develop almost immediately. If you move the capital to Anambra it will develop too against all odds. That's the power of a capital... It doesn't matter if only 5% of Lagos was used as the capital... Development knows no boundaries, the outskirts must surely develop along side the actual designated area. So you think the leaders In Lagos are different or smarter than other leaders around the country? What a dumb ass! Bro Lagos is nothing but a beneficiary of national resources as a former capital.... The region was developed to be the pride and showcase the might of the entire country to the world.. and the funds that made that possible came from all over the country. So stop claiming Lagos for only one tribe. Your people contributed almost nothing to the development of Lagos. |
JaredH:Not everybody in this country is suffering like you brother. Some are blessed. Know this and know peace. |
smokinloud:Which region? Let me guess.... Lagos? Lol as the former capital of Nigeria, Lagos development was funded by the whole country. So yes it's a no man's land. The same Igbos you have Love to hate have been and will always be the majority shareholders in Lagos Earlier this year, I evicted one of your fellow tribalist and troublesome kinsmen from my new Ikorodu property and replaced him with "omo Ibo" ![]() guy, Na my hard hard-working Igbo brothers get about 80% of the entire properties/business in your self acclaimed Lagos oo. yea I know Bro, it hurts... ![]() So Mr Mugu! Mek una Continue claiming Lagos with mouth while we are busy conquering. Dumbo tribalist... Oya Come and pursue your landlords nah lmaooo ![]() |
EyenIbibio1:You are still looking at life through a fantasy/fairy tale garden. But here is the fact bro... As a naturally gifted psychologist and an "unprofessional" behaviour analyst. I can boldly tell you that People don't "really" change. it's just a basic psychology. "Our past is either a pretence(fake life) for benefits/personal reasons" or it's just who we really are. If her past wasn't a pretence, then it's simply her true identity. Conditionally, She might be as calm as a camel presently for alot of reasons like marriage, religion e.t.c.... But her true identity will always be there, hidden and just patiently waiting to be triggered/unleashed. |
Rostikol:Shut the hell up man. People like you annoy me, y'all need to travel outside Africa at least once in una life time! na only then una go realise that Africa is a total mess and the greatest Sithole ever! And Every time someone says this fact about Africa people like you go say na inferiority complex dey worry the person. Just answer this one simple question... why is Africa still the least developed and the poorest continent in the entire world? Don't you dare say it's because of colonization. Africa wasn't the only region that was colonised! all the countries in Asia, South north central America, Arabian Gulf and part eastern of Europe were also colonised by Western powers. yet they have all moved on and doing great things with their various countres except Africa. We are the only ones still complaining about colonization and blaming the west for our incompetence. Go to Ordinary UAE(Dubai, it's not that expensive and the visa is very easy to get), go to Qatar, Singapore etc and see heaven on earth! Na Countries we first get independent! Are you not ashamed? Are you not tired? see.... Until we accept that something is seriously wrong with our region, especially with our leaders... That's the only time we will start getting it right. It's not inferiority complex to acknowledge such reality... In fact it's a sign of patriotism to notice that your region is behind the rest of the world and also speak up about it. So that guy you quoted is more African than you will ever be and he is probably smarter you too. |
Goalnaldo:If you talk Dem go say its inferiority complex or that you are not proud of your race. The truth is that something is definitely wrong somewhere with black man. Go around the world, the poorest abd most underdeveloped countries in the world are literally black nations. Some say it's like that because of colonization...? Are we the only people that was colonized by the west? Of all the former British and french colonies around the world Africa is almost still the only region in Auto reverse! And when I say Africa I mean typical black Africans. Cos most North African(light skin) countries have even left us behind. Makes me sincerely wonder if success has everything to do with one's skin color? But then it hit me.... I realized that this whole thing revolves around MENTALITY. We are where we are today just because of our general mentality and reasoning as people! how can top government officials be boldly and proudly talking about ghosts and evil spirits? |
Corruption in Nigeria is either natural or contagious. Every government official's basic instinct is to embezzle and acquire as much money and power as they could. Other things are just secondary. That's the bitter fact. I don't see this country making any progress. It's impossible... Unless God sent us a real patriot who's ambition and will to build a great country and put Nigeria on the map is stronger than his basic corruption instinct. |
Everbryte lol did she cook that too? Looks delicious. |
Kokoboss:lol no bro... Im not a chef, I can't even successfully boil a pot of water without losing 70% of the water through evaporation. Im a full grown man doing well with his life... So I got absolutely no reason to jealous that Young lady. Infact I'm proud of her. But y'all overreacting.. someone just had to say it and i happened to be that someone. Sorry bro. |
She was posted on CNN official Instagram account a while ago, which was really great. But the comment section was really irritating! It got flooded by Nigerians as you would expect. But Instead of enjoying the moment as Nigerians, some were busy attacking everyone... playing the race card, accusing the international community of not giving her enough recognition because she was black and African. Seriously? I don't understand how we think sometimes, why are we making this too much of a big deal? Hilda baci did an amazing job no doubt... She got her message out there too.. she showed the world that there are still positive things about Nigeria, She showed the world the Naija vibes and how supportive Nigerians can be. So we are proud of her... I'm personally proud of her. But guys please stop overreacting. I don't know exactly what you guys think she did. Bro... She cooked for 100 hours non stop. which is amazing and not an easy task to accomplish.. So she did great! But she is not the first person to do something like that ok, alot of people have already done that in the past... but only slightly fewer hours. Remember say na another person record she dey break like this! And she probably won't hold it forever. (Infact The way you guys are going about this whole thing, person fit vex smash that record much more sooner) So stop acting like she did something "un-doable"...... stop acting like they should hand her over King Charles crown... Or name her among Albert Einstein and Da Vinci. Na only cook she cook it's not like she just discovered the cure for cancer! Mek we just dey calm down a

That's the problem with us Africans... we all about our one slice of daily bread. Guinness world record is not designed to get you paid... rather it's designed to give you opportunities for bigger goals and achievements. |
Naijaguy12345:one of the top richest musicians in Africa like this is irrelevant? After Fela Kuti himself, those twins,2face and D'banj them are the reason Afrobeats is going places today. let's learn to appreciate legends in this country please... regardless their present form. cos without the past there won't be present or the future. who is Seun Kuti? he is just a spoiled brat who is only relevant because of his surname... without his father no one for know that boy outside his village.. quote me anywhere. bro, seriously how can you put such a man above psquare of all people? psquare that once shook the world to the core? I don't like how we treat legends in this country I swear, we seem to forget easily smh... You shouldn't be saying this unless you are a teenager or still in your early 20's bro... then it's understandable, but if you're older? c'mon what's up man? |
There's no big deal about the house, just the location. It's just a regular boring Nigerian architecture. Our architects are mentally lazy and not creative at all. They do one thing till Kingdom come. Concrete, pop ceilings with them bloody lights! Floor? Tiles take it or leave it. Even public buildings that should showcase the greatness of the country... Same old same old. |
Napata77:I stopped reading after the first insult. you are obviously Educated, but intelligence got nothing much to do with education...it has everything to do with natural IQ which you are obviously low on, no offense. I'm just going to leave you with one question to exercise your IQ with. are you ready? how come of all the former British colonies even in Americas in Europe and Asia. Africa is still the least developed? my man,you are not more Black or African than me..I'm a 100% proud black man... I would never trade my race for any other! But being proud of who you are doesn't mean you should ignore the obvious truth and the problems staring you right in the face. we can never get it right unless we figure out what's wrong with us as people... denying that something is wrong with us and blaming the past is how best to remain the same. just think about everything I said,it's not illegal to think. |
I don't like Tiwa's personality atall. but there's nothing wrong with her performance. everything is not about politics. the so called African-Americans criticising her, what have they done to their own oppressors in the US? don't they perform and jump like little monkeys when invited to the white house? America as a whole is just jealous of the British monarchy, they jealous it wasn't them, they jealous the global attention the British monarchy gets. America just wants everything in this life to be about them and about them alone.. no one else gets any! America is the one sponsoring and hyping the recent anti monarchy sentiment In Britain. British monarchy is beautiful... it made Britain really special and unique... the bloody Yankees are just jealous that all they have is the Kardashian family. It wasn't King Charles who invaded Africa,it was his ancestors. and there's nothing they took from us that our own politicians haven't stolen a hundred times and still stealing till tomorrow. we were not the only country that was occupied by great British. even the US was ruled by the British monarchy. Australia, Canada and many other countries are still officially under the British monarchy till today. but they are all successful nations and doing great... we Black people should stop blaming everyone else for our failure as a race! it's annoying. since how many decades the British left still no development no progress... we were even doing better under the British. immediately they handed everything over to us we ran everything down and then turned around to blame the world for our failure... very annoying and disgusting... something is definitely not right in our DNA smh |
madscientist88:make international contact bro... contact NASA or Roscomos online. Nigeria is no place for things like this. I once dug out a metal artefact while digging a well in a new land I acquired somewhere around Awka, Anambra state. Immediately I saw the human shaped object, I had a feeling it was an old artefact and must be valuable. I tried contacting museums in Nigeria but they payed no attention. so I contacted a top British archaelogist through his public email address(name withheld for some reasons) I attached a picture of the artifact. as I expected they contacted me almost immediately... they sent representatives from Ghana here to my house. they told me the artifact was over 700 years old. it was Made by early Igbo blacksmiths. they dug the entire Area for further artefacts but unfortunately they couldn't find anything more. well I got handsomely paid for the artefact, though I know I was somehow underpaid but I also know if I had successfully contacted Nigerian authorities even shishi I for no see collect. no be Nigeria? mtcheew. so we kept it a total secret from Nigerian authorities. I'm still looking out to see the artefact anywhere in the news...if the value happens to be unbelievably too high for what I got paid for, i'm suing them for millions of dollars lols. afterall there was no official paperwork for the payment and I still got all the necessary evidence that i found it. I no fit carry last as Naija boy nah. so bro try and make international contact ASAP... you are waisting your time in Nigeria. |
charliejose:Like I said...I'm not telling anyone how to raise their kids. this just my personal opinion. but any man who thinks it's perfect for young boys to play with flowers and rainbows in this life says alot about the kind of men or should I say the kind of simps abd weaklings they are themselves. well for your question... LoL I dont teach my boy how to beat women... rather I teach him how to respect and protect his sister and women around him like a real man should. not to play with her barbie dolls and cry alongside her when a cockroach approaches. I teach him to crush the cockroach. cos that's what men do... anything otherwise would disgust the living hell out of me. it would mean I'm failing as a father. cos there's a reason why every boy needs his father... it's to teach him how to be a man. it's something a women can never successfully teach... and with this your comment.. its obvious that even some men can't successfully do that as well these days. real men with real man genes are truly declining worldwide. and it's very sad. well bro good luck with your boys and teddy bears my man... I hope they don't learn how to cat Walk before they learn how to make a fist. |
swaggerjack:Ok listen... im a very proud veteran member of NBM of Africa worldwide. I'm Educated, I'm responsible, yet 700% solid as a strong man... fully dedicated to my duties and obligation as an Egede man! But im i a cultist? I'm i a petty criminal? I'm i a lawless psychopath who murders and beheads people on the campus and streets for no "solid justified reason" atall? the answer to all is No! so who who I'm i then? I'm a licensed fighter by the federal republic of Nigeria and ordained by the to fight for freedom, equality and social justice for all my black family around the world. So please with all due respect, I would really appreciate if you don't mention me in any future cult related topics. With all that out of the way. And to respectfully help quench your curiosity on why you invited me here.... These unusual handshakes don't belong to any known major confraternity in Nigeria... they look close and similar to few confraternity's hand greetings and signatures, but their hand and finger placements are boldly wrong and not qualified in any way to count as hand greetings or signature of these confrats. Most of our politicians are obviously flat members... but most of the unusual handshakes you see them are simply swaggs. And popular handshakes around the world. they dont mean jack or anything I'm aware of. Confraternities are perfectionists... it's either you get it right or it doesn't count at all. you might as well get punished by other members for failing to get their various signature hand greetings accurately. hope that helps... I'm out. |
wow Afro beats is now penetrating India? of all places? wow Afro beats to the world! but our stars need to start working harder on their lyrics! at least a little harder, so that when foreigners google the lyrics to that their favorite Afro beats jam they won't be totally disappointed. Currently only few Afro beats artists like Burna boy Pato ranking,Tems them and veterans like 2baba them actually have lyrics to write home about. Others na just beats, just give them a good beat, thats all that matters to them. Dem go just scream and shout till the beat runs out. no creativity or something to think about while listening.(just my baby this one and my baby that one) It's sometimes so annoying and shows how mentally lazy an average African man is. |
[/quote] NonsoNna:I'm glad to hear that. Well about your question... I don't have the capacity to identify these families, cos like I said.... Only the elitists and most powerful political figures in Nigeria past and presently like OBJ,IBB,Buhari,Bola Tinubu,Jim Nwobodo, Rabiu nkwankwaso,Atiku Abubakar, Nyesome Wike, David Mark,(and till recently)Peter Obi.... etc can accurately tell you who these families are... I'm just a peasant like you. And even majority of politicians in Nigeria especially low ranking ones also have no clue. Only Elites and most powerful politicians do cos they are the ones who work/worked with, answered/answers to these families directly. It's a power pyramid scheme if you ask me. But from my personal observation,I'm more than certain that most of these families are Muslims from Northern part of the country(Obviously) And there's a 30 to 50% probability that rich and powerful families like Dangote Family, Abdul Rabiu Family, Arthur Eze Family, Mike Adenuga Family, Orji Kalu family. all probably have a seat at the Giant national big table. I also believe that all the seats are not exactly equal or the same size... Nope! Some are obviously bigger than the others. And sometimes just sometimes normal politicians..A.K.A employed CEOs can grow and grow until they are Big enough to secure a short term or long term seat for their family at the big table. I'm confident that Bola Ahmed Tinubu has achieved this or at least about to(considering what we all saw in the general election) love him or hate him like I do, that man showed everyone in this country that he is obviously no joke... and he is way up in the game. |
