indeed there are only 4 teams in the EPL.
AV should be relegated. grin
I used to laugh then when you guys thought A.Villa will finish 4th and Arsenal 5th.
Villa's useless and would embarass the EPL if they ever get there.

About tomorrow's match.
We must win.
It's a revenge mission.
I remember vividly the match played at Manchester in November last year.
I was travelling and a scummie friend of mine kept updating me via sms texts of what was going on.
1,2,3 goals to nothing defeat by the blue half of scumlandhuh huh our biggest defeat this season
It was depressing! sad sad sad

Before Shearer's appointment, this game looked done and dusted for Chelsea.
Maybe , a 2-0 win.
But the table has turned, all the players will have something to prove to the new manager.
It's just psychological.
Expect a resurgence from the Toon Army.
Maybe a 1-1, or Newcastle scores a late goal to win it!

Robinho and Bellamy are both doubts for tomorrow's game.
However, bring them on if they recover on time.

Its two minutes to go in the England vs Ukraine game and I was so happy that John Terry has restored England's lead after Shevy equalised for Ukraine.
WHY?
The silly English Press would descend on AW tomorrow and blame him once more for all the woes in the English game grin.
Game over England 2-1 Ukraine
Sports › Re: Mikel Obi Almost Fainted -emenalo by HNIC(m): 6:31pm On Apr 01, 2009
MAITEMA:
Who is Mike Emenalo? Is he not that boy that nobody knew? the same boy that was playing his oblivious football in the U.S. and from nowhere Westerhof imposed him on our U.S.A '94 team? Isnt he the infamous no.26? the incompetent central defender! Was is not his inability to cover for Cerezo (Eguavoen) properly that left Eguavoen with no option than no bring down Roberto Baggio in the 86th minute and then the Italians got a penalty that gave them the equalizer and then ultimately spur them to win the game and deny Nigeria of a historic quarterfinal place in the World cup?
First of all, you got it all WRONG!
Baggio did not equalize from the penalty spot.
A swift move from the italians found Baggio around the box 18 and he scored with a low drive to the right of Dodo Mayana!
The penalty was conceeded in extra time, which Baggio dispatched also

However, the same Emenalo powered down the left(when we were 1-2 down) and delivered a low cross inside the italian's 18 yard box.
Yekini was at the end of the cross and guess what! he missed from 4-5 yards out! shocked shocked

I am not holding brief for Emenalo.
He is just defending his Compatriot like I said earlier.
The real issue is Mikel Obi
He was pathetic in the middle of the park on that day
and really, he hasn't impressed in central midfield for as long as I  can remember embarassed
Sports › Re: Mikel Obi Almost Fainted -emenalo by HNIC(m): 5:01pm On Apr 01, 2009
chidichris:
mikel is trying to please a people that has no value for him. he shld learn from the experience of sam okwaraji who died playing for nigeria.
what is happening to sam okwaraji's family since then. in what ways are nigerians and nigeria remembering a man that died playing for her.
imagine nigeria asking mikel to come for their doctors to certify him. is there a doctor in nigeria and if the answer is yes, why is that our leaders go abroad whenever they feel the slightest headache.
nigeria is not worth dying for.
I beg your pardon about the highlighted!!!
Reh, reh, reh
It's not by force for Mikel to play for Nigeria
If he doesn't want to play, let him say so and some other person will gladly do his job!
Was it not by playing for Nigeria that he got into LYN of Norway?
If he didn't play for Nigeria, would he be at Chelsea today?
Come to think of it.
you need to play 75% of your national team matches for your work permit to be renewed in England.
With that, hope you can see that Mikel also needs Nigeria!
meanwhile, Emenalo is just defending his compatriot's woeful performance.
Nothing more!

3sc played in one african country sometimes ago. It was a club competition which is a two-legged affair. They went to one african country to play one of the legs. They received one of the most inhuman treatment in football history. Sohoting stars delegation was headed by a Prominent Nigerian. He was about to be murdered when somebody told the thugs that if they kill the "man", Nigeria will "clear-off" their country. On hearing this they stopped.

1) Name the country where the problem arose?

2) What is the name of that prominent Nigeria?

3) Which competition were they playing?

Good luck.

Clue

"Yerepe" was freely thrown on 3SC players
1.) Ghana. Shooting Stars were playing Sekondi 11 Wise

2.) I have racked my brain, I just cannot remember

3.) It was the WAFU cup in 1984 or 1985
