Just to believe this was the same Ade that claimed Reyes was unsettling the team 2 years ago with his desperation to quit Arsenal ![]() Come to think of it, what does Reyes do for a living these days ![]() Is he still at Athletico Madrid ![]() |
@javaprince just like it was said Only Flamster and Mad Jens have left. Ramsey Aaron in, , Carlos Vela has returned from Spain. No other deal is through yet. Samir Nasri's deal is not yet sealed. |
@ Cesc 04 Am sure you are trying to be funny ![]() We all knew before Xmas 2007 that it would be Mad Jens last season at Arsenal ![]() About Ade and Hleb, There's something about AW. He doesn't let go easily of players that he feels are still part of his plans. Remember when Real Madrid used to court Paddy every year.!!! It's getting more interesting. I wonder what will happen if Hleb and Ade both end up staying at the Emirates!!! |
I have to be frank here. It's the time of the season where so much is said by players and AGENTS hold sway now. The AGENTS make all the big bucks around now and go on holidays till january, so they leak all sorts of stories to the press. Only one player has left Arsenal and that is Flamini. As far as I am concerned, all other stories are being 'fired' up by AGENTS. How far with HLEB? and all those stories about London being too noisy?? .Let's wait and see what happens, until then, we can make assessments. Right now, we are just reacting to rumours, hearsays and grapevine gists. : |
@ Vicade You meant Derby County ![]() Sunderland fans won't find it funny. Ade isn't the best around, but Arsenal will be taking a risk selling him. Keep him and let's see what happens next season. Right now, me thinks we need goal scoring midfielders, the way Bobby and Freddie used to do it for us |
@ dyabman I disagree with you completely. ![]() How can you say Ade cost us the league ![]() While I am not really an Ade fan, I think one would sound ridiculous to say that a striker who scored 30 goals for his club(leading the attack line for the 1st time) 'cost us the league', (Duh, like he's the only striker that misses in front of goal). If Ade wants to go, he can.AW never really stands in the way of players who wanna leave But really there's something about ADE Milan has said,'forget Etoo, forget Drogba, Ade is our ONLY target'. Barca says they are close to signing him. Both clubs(Great and respected IMO are ready to fork out at least 25million pounds) Rio and Terry once said, they dread playing against Ade. Ade rarely gets injured, I have sat down on numerous occassions and thought about it. There's something in Ade that most gooners are not seeing. ![]() My verdict-RETAIN HIM I really don't want him to go. Ade for all his failings, brings a plan B to Arsenal's attack. |
Did anyone see RVPersie last nite? I am just praying for an injury free season for this guy and all these Villa talks(which wont happen!!) will cease! He will over come his injury problems. Clichy too used to be made of glass and Aliaderre also, but now all that is behind them! |
For Villa to come, we have to let go of at least one of our strikers which AW isn't ready to do. All this Villa talk sef ![]() What's the guarantee he will be a success at Arsenal ![]() It's the same guys demanding that AW should sign him that will start grumbling if he doesn't score in his first 10-11 games ![]() Like I have said earlier it's still mid-june.A lot will happen before August 31. and @ 4 play Ade's deal is about to be jerked to 80k/week, u are taliking about Ade being close to 30(Did the two of you live in the same neighbourhood as kids or how una take know say e don almost reach 30 .Na wa for u manscums oooh When we pay 30/40 k pounds to players, u claim we pay slave wages and AW is a slave master, now that we are reviewing player's packages, u talk about us offering too much. Nothing can be right at the Emirates in front of scummies |
Looks like Ade is going nowhere afterall http://www.football365.com/story/0,17033,8652_3689818,00.html I implore everyone to wait and see what happens. It's only June, Nothing much would happen until after Euro 2008, and the gaffer is out there in Switzerland. Remember AW signed Bobby(Pires) after Euro 2000 and what a gem he turned out to be. |
@ Somze That creativity has been lacking since Robben left. That guy oozes class. Apart from his theatrics which he displays from time to time, the guy is good!!! |
smol:Surprised to read that also. Pele,Puskas,Maradona,Cruyff,Paulo Rossi, and even Roger Milla. You remember they are from either Brazil,Argentina,Holland or Cameroun first before u remember that Oh he played for Barca,Ajax or New York Cosmos! ![]() |
@ Vicade I wonder why you take cognisance of anything 4 play says on this thread. To him and the rest mancs, when a player leaves Arsenal, he is super and 'world class' and will sorely be missed by Arsenal and also When a good player is linked to Arsenal, the player would never come, its all speculations by the press, but if a 17 or 18 year old unknown is linked, HA! yea, those are AW's kind of player, untapped talents, ambitionless club, all doom and gloom for Arsenal, bla bla bla, Best thing is just to ignore!!!!!! |
Like, who cares ? ![]() |
I will be rooting for the men from Switzerland. Why? Ok, let's take a look at this. Senderos et al will be playing as hosts. With the crowd backing them,Senderos and co could get all the way to the finals and win. Just imagine, if Phillipe has a fantastic tournament, the likes of Milan,Madrid and Inter would begin to covet him,his agent would go to the press and start some 'drama', AW lets him go to the highest bidder for 7million quid(Who cares how much) and finally, Senderos quits Arsenal!!! So that, next season, whenever the ball is being passed around by Arsenal's defence line, I can sip my drink peaacefully and also, whenever I see Toure or Gallas limping, I am rest assured that Phillipe isn't coming on! ![]() |
R.I.P ALLOYSIUS. ![]() One of Nigeria's finest!!! |
Sometimes I wonder why manure fans are so much interested in the Arsenal. Concerned about wage structure, internal wranglings, player's defection etc, Now even bothered about Nasri or Nasir whatever, being world class or not (Whoever opined that he was world class or the short or long term solution to Arsenal's problems).Strangely, he's not even be signed yet ![]() The tag of new this, new that would always be giving by the Press to hype footballers. If they don't, how will their tabloids sell? ![]() Djemba(2ce) was hyped to be the long term replacement for Keano ![]() Nasri ain't an Arsenal player yet, so what's the fuss ![]() If he becomes one, all well and good, hope he develops and becomes anotther Arsenal great If he doesn't, good luck and hope he lives up to the 'next Zidane' bill. |
@ Akola Ojokojo,if i remember correctly, was in the heart of the Sutin stars midfield in the early 90s. What happened to him? |
Same here Presido. I never believe the tabloids till I see the player displaying the red and white jersey in front of the Press. As wise as all of them are, they couldn't PREDICT that Lassana Diarra would cross over to the Emirates from West London last August. ![]() I find this one laughable, Louis Saha, I think AW would be high on some cheap substances to bid for Saha!!! |
@ 4-play We are on the verge of signing Nasri and the first thing u say is that he's not yet top notch quality and won't be for two years. ![]() I wonder what u said about Sagna.I am sure u must have said AW was mad!!! and LOL, he's the best right back in the EPL ![]() and who said Nasri would be signed to win us the league ![]() and what even concerns u about who we buy and who we don't buy ![]() and also why in God's name do u believe Anderson is better than Nasri?(Thank God Nasri scores, Anderson didn't score one thruout the season) The funny thing is that as soon as Nasri becomes a hit, instead of crediting AW for further developing the player and turning him into a super star, u will say, OOOh, what's the big deal, we have always known Nasri since his days at Marseille, he's played in the CL before bla, bla, bla, bla, RUBBISH! ![]() Lastly, the dude's name is Nasri and not Nasir!!! ![]() |
From a neutral point of view, which fights, oops, confrontation are we gonna see today? Giving the fact that Mikel has been involved in past matches.I wonder what the odds are, in Mikel being sent off![]() |
@ Presido1 Even die hard manure fans have been joking about this incident all day. Guess you never see the humour in anything. and of course, if you don't mention arse or arsenal, you day ain't complete. Don't be so uptight dude.See a bit of humour in some stuff |
Maka may have injured Cashley on purpose ooh ![]() You know, the English Press has been going on bla bla bla bla, on how Cashley would be the first Englishman to appear in two CL finals with different clubs. Maka may have become irritated with all this gibberish and decided to take him 'out' ![]() 'Claude the Blues Terror' ![]() |
Just wondering why Scholes wanted to break Tevez's legs yesterday ![]() and the look that Tevez gave him, like, 'Dude, don't allow me to retaliate' ![]() |
@ Ibime not really questioning L'equipe's integrity. I would be very glad if Zizou junior becomes a gunner. Like u said, let's wait till 7.30pm. |
@ Ibime Also heard L'equipe has the story. I will wait till he's handed the arsenal jersey. ![]() If it's true, good for us, His talent has never been in doubt. 'Zizou junior' as he's called would certainly blossom under AW's wings. but like I said, let's see him at the Press conference first! |
coded guy:Without sentiments indeed, You this RED DEVIL ![]() |
Hucarson, Looks like u like Arsenal a lot. You are even worried about who will captain next season. ![]() Don't worry. WG would captain Arsenal next season. Are we ok now? and also ready to drop those theories ![]() |
@ Huc Still think you are Flamster's greatest fan! ![]() Guess u would have wished, he moved to manure so that Carrick,Hargo and co can warm the bench, afterall He stopped the great one, Kaka. You are asking who Wenger has acquired to replace Matthieu ![]() dude, its just May 16, 2008, The window closes 31st August, 2008 |
@ huc What kind of logic are u spewing? Flamini only broke into arsenal's first 11 this season. I doubt if u knew who he was prior to last season ![]() and may I remind u for the upteenth time that he is the only one that has LEFT. Mentioning Cesc and Hleb wanting to leave makes u look ridiculous. Hleb has only said he's tired of London's chaotic life and Cesc has said he remains a gunner. Contrast that to Evra sweating over contract talks(the ni#@a works his a** off for manure but still gets peanuts) and to perhaps your best player, Ronnie coming out to say he could be on his way to Madrid .I wonder what your point is!!! Flamster didn't win anything with Arsenal, what guarantee is their that he would even play at all at AC Milan? Then dude, quit talking about Flamster. Is he your football hero? Even arsenal has moved on, |
@ Hucarson, I have poked fun at Evra trying to be like Mayweather by testing his boxing skills on a Chelsea Steward, but I never said Manure was falling apart or that they won't win a trophy. Sometimes I wonder why it bothers you lot about what's going on in our camp, the day to day running of the Arsenal etc(or were u once a fan or you are secretly one )@ Cristalz Fab has been consistent since Paddy left. This was Flamster's first good season since he left L'OM. One thing that surprises me about you mancs is that, a player becomes super in your eyes once he has left Arsenal ![]() I am surprised you haven't talk of AW's stupidity in not offering Mad Jens a three year contract, instead of letting him go for nothing. Afterall, he's Germany's number 1 goalkeeper. |
hucarson:Just do me a favour son, go to your thread to talk about your team, and leave us gooners to worry about 'trophyless seasons','Stingy Wenger','Departed Players','Fielding Youngsters','Proposed takeovers' etcWill be appreciated |
