This is another angle too. But having looked at the code there is no P0300/random cylinder misfire.
The error code P0353 is specific to cylinder 3 circuit/wiring fault and therefore P0303.
Meaning there is an existing fault in that circuit.

So my assumption is the misfire "might" have caused the lean code.

Okay , thank you. Can they just follow under the car to service the oil pump mesh or just they loose the engine to do that? Because mine is showing the oil sign after I topped my hydraulic oil when it showed break sign. Now break sign is gone after topping the hydraulic oil while the oil sign is there.

I dont believe my oil pump has failed reason been that I just worked on the car two weeks ago and changed oil pump, it pumped oil sufficiently in my presence . But then after I changed oil yesterday the oil was so dirty so I suspect the oil pump mesh could have dirty. Please i need your reply

It is not easy for a car in Benin. They may not have a 13pin 4 wheel drive gear box at the moment. He may need to ship from Lagos. The mechanic will charge about 70k, oil will cost about 40k. The gear box about 350k. If it works fine, then you are good. Sometimes, it might turn out that the tokunbo gear box may be faulty, you have to remove within one week and send back to Lagos. Imagine you have to go through this until you get a perfect working gear.

If the gear box is 22pin(U660) the Tx price will be about 600k. If it is 13pin, it should be about 350k.

I did aggressive driving this morning and 1pin has dropped from half tank with my AC on. I went underneath to look at the catalyst and I was seeing like some lil smoke,maybe because I did zero to 100 within 9 seconds and parked. Well I heading to my guy mechanic today.

Please my nairaland auto gurus. Help me. I stay and work in a remote area. I drive up to 40km to get to the nearest auto part dealers shop. I'm running insane. My Toyota corolla 2009 brake pad clips always comes off while driving. It make my braking noisy and its not safe, I always wonder the victims car tire that will pick those tiny metal on the road and repair cost to fix their tires. My car is too quiet and serious rattle noise while braking and it vibrate my steering wheel also. Its occurs mostly on the right front leg, immediately i feel vibration on the steering while braking i instantly know it has come off. The road to my area is fairly rough but I'm not the only one driving on the same road and others car clips don't come off.

Those mechanics know me. Anytime my car visits the auto mech shop. "Oga has come ... Musa go and get clips" its relatively cheap to replace but it's annoying at the same time. I visit a mech shop because of a #500 fix less service charge. They have tried different style to fix the clip, Some even add some thin layer of used rubber. It came off same day. The mech guy tried to bend the clips fingers to make it firm on the brake caliper, all failed. We tried using another type of clip, still came off

How do i install this clips permanently.

Hello guys,

My accord started vibrating when on gear and vehicle is stopped (it started gradually not at once sha).

Although there’s no vibration when the car is in neutral.

I’ve changed the 5 engine seat at least once each, when you scan the check engine light it shows error P0420 (catalyst issues); so that cannot be the reason.

Can anyone recommend a solution as I’ve spent a lot trying to fix this vibration issue.

Update:
Replaced both MAF sensor and the upstream 02 sensor, sluggishness disappeared immediately , still have a glowing check engine light but I'll scan and troubleshoot on Saturday. Thanks for the recommendations

Wow, how did I get here? Have been researching on CRV tranny issues now for weeks to no avail.
Carelessly I haven't serviced my tranny for about 2 years now cos last time I went my mechanic said I disturb too much that my oil is healthy thus I should leave it.
That went into my head and I forgot to service gear for two years now.
Trouble started when I went to fix my suspensions and I carelessly asked my mech to gauge my tranny oil which he did and shouted that it was empty.
I had no extra cash on me cos I was only prepared for my suspensions, however, I asked him to top it up with 1 litre Oando something ii oil I use which he did and that was it.
Trying to drive out I noticed delayed engagement and he said it was cos of no oil which I doubted but long story short we ended up pouring 4 litres and thing became worse.
1. Delayed engagement from P to D
2. Uneven switching when driving
3. On speed slippage

God, am tired.

He said I should service the sensor abi solenoid which I did and later changed it from another another Honda car.

Bottom line is gear still bad.

From this trend think I'll do a scan on the car before anything else.

Any suggestions plz help meanwhile thanks I really appreciate your all

Not really! Some are not burning oil. The 13pin gear has no problem except those kazeem messed it up.

Good Morning All.

My 2008 Lexus ES 350 suddenly starts overheating on a trip to Ilaro last week. All checks by my mechanics didn't detect any hose damage or leakages.

Again it overheats on my way to Ogbomoso 2 days ago, I pulled over to let it cool down and when I checked the radiator, the water was intact.

Vehicles was driven back to Ibadan, and taken to mechanic workshop for another thorough check. Mechanic said I need to change the radiator to double cell.

Pls is that correct?
