Your engine is not breathing well, that flex net is there for a reason so as to absorb all engine vibrations without sending it to the cabin.

Don’t drive the car hard like that or else you go get RED HOT exhaust.

Just get another good net for your car and fix it back.

If the engine nor breath well, engine go spoil and you know price lately

The secondly pls who has an idea on what can be causing a clicking sound under the car when moving on rough terrain and what can cause a "kpo" when the steering wheel is turned completely and the pedal is pressed to move.

Check the steering rack bushing rubber. That place wey dem screw ham to the chases

He didn’t set the timing very well…


I changed my water pump in my Lexus es 330, 3MZ engine and the person that did the job didn’t set the timing very well. It bring out the same code but I don’t have those symptoms…

The water pump eventually failed after 3 months and I had to order an iron impeller from China my self. Happens that the plastic water pump I just bought 3 months ago had broken in the housing already.

The new mechanic that install the new water pump called my attention to the timing missing by 1 teeth. He fixed it and after starting the car, code went away itself…


So for that particular code, it’s timing… I don’t know about anything else

Try using your rear view mirror so they don’t catch you unaware… I look all the 3 mirrors when driving so I always know when you are coming

There’s a weird cranking noise that sometimes emanate from the engine of my few months old RX 350 (2009) Lexus. Bought the car directs Tok and engine is still very sound . I usually notice this weird engine noise whenever the vehicle is parked for a few hour’s especially on hot afternoons


My mechanic said it happens due to oil circulation when you start a car and its normal.

Another mechanic told me it could be that the filter under bottom plate is dusty or it could be that the chains in the engine need to be adjusted. That I should bring it for him to access it .

A friend who uses ES 350 is also experiencing similar issues and his mechanic said it’s the oil circulation when a car parked for a few hours starts

I’m still not satisfied with the mechanics response

I use the normal Mobil sold 9500 at Mobil stations and I’m thinking of switching to Mobil 1 hoping that would correct the noise. A colleague using RX350 uses Mobil 1 and has never encountered issues like this with his car



Please I need the views of experts/engineers in the house

I don’t think a scan can point to this.

I will suggest you open the bottom tray like suggested and clean the oil pump filter.

That is the first cheap fix

Use fuel System cleaner and injector cleaner quick to undo some pending things
