I met this young beautiful lady about 2 years now and ever since we've been friends and just friends.
I took it further to ask her out, but she declined but after up to a year of disturbance, she said yes and......


Fast forwarded till present. I Proposed my love to her with a ring and she was overwhelmed that day. She said yes without ado( i even shared some pics here).

Backward to that time i asked her out. Yes, she told me she is dating one white guy. She told me it isnt anything serious and now she is no more dating him, just that they are now best of friends and he render helps to her. I believed her and we started the relationship.

After i gave her that ring, she has been one very...... girl.
Its either we fight today,quarell tomorrow and.......

She's just been fruustrating my life.

One day we had a little misunderstanding over the phone, and the next thing i saw was her text, telling me she already flushed the ring. I was so mad that day, but i love her and i forgave her later.

Fastforward to last week, i saw a picture on her dp( she was wearing a guys cap and posed in a very lovely house ) . Without suspecting, i asked her where that nice place was and she answered that 'why was i asking'?
I told her jokingly that just to know if that was her new house and she told me it was the white guys house and that was his cap she wore.
My mind got heavy that day and i wasnt myself throughout.

Just of recent, what she did on her dp was so annoying. She snapped her hands and the guys hands on her dp, showing bothe hands as if telling someone "we are married".

I told her to remove it which she did and told me it was an old picture, at least more than a year. Yes i believed and we moved on.
Now to the major problem im facing now, she doesnt pick my calls again.
She will later call back and tell me she's been busy or sleeping and that was why she isnt picking calls.
Apart from that, she doesnt chat again nowadays. She's always online yet, she will never talk to me. She hasn't replied my messages since 2days now...


I need advise on what to do. I love her yet, im afraid she already moved on. Should i just break up with her or wait till........

These are what i do.
1. Delete her number and pictures off your phone first. Am sure you havent done that. You sound too weak.

2. Block her on whatsapp and bbm.

3. Get another girl amongst your girlfriends to give your attention to , so that she doesnt occupy your mind.

4. Put more effort at your work and if possible spend more time there. Truth is you are poor. If she was dating a guy far richer than her she would not dare treat him like that.

5. You need to realise that you are a man. You cannot let your emotions rule you. When you eventually have a family with several women to direct, is this how u want to lead them? Without any emotional stamina or strength?

6. Women do not like emotionally weak guys, as most ladies want you as a support when shes loosing control. So if you cant control your emotions how do you help her out?

7. You also need to realise this particular relationship is hopeless, the earlier you cut your losses and move on, the better for you.

Good day my fellow Nairalanders, I have a very serious problem which I so much believe that with your kind and generous advice, I might take the right step. I met this girl around April 2012 at my work place and since then we have been together after I proposed to her last year. The fact is I love her so much and I thought she also loves me.

I went down with her to her village around April 2014 to see her parents formally and they were so happy, her mum, dad, grand parents and even her siblings welcomed me wholeheartedly and I was so happy. I stayed with them for two weeks just to see if I can picture out any bad behavior but seriously, non was found.

The problem am having with her is that she has too much male friends and most of them are always sending her love messages both on 2go and Facebook. I once stumble on her Facebook inbox and I found a chat between her and another guy and he was just thanking her for coming to spend good time with him, bla bla bla and how he enjoyed her. I was so mad because during this period she went to the village alone and promised to return in a week but she didn't until after 3 weeks, this is what she always do, she travels like 4-5 times in a year and never return on time. When she returned, I confronted her and she said she is not the one that did that chat with the guy, I tried asking her who did but she never gave me a good answer.

Later that week, she gave me her phone to help her charge it in a barbing saloon, then a strange number called and I picked, the person hissed and cut the call, he later sent a message saying, "you're picking my wife's call and asking me who it is" I replied him that he should check the number that he might be wrong, he then mentioned her name. I went back home to ask my fiancee who own that number then she said its that guy I saw his chat and I should not worry, she will fix it.

Recently again, she has travelled and up till this moment, she is not back, she promised she won't stay upto 2 weeks but yesterday makes it 5 weeks. That same yesterday, my mum's pastor asked my mum to call me that he has a message for me which I later went, he greeted me and say, while he was praying for me because of my mums request, that he was shown that the lady I am planning of marrying is not mine alone, that if I go ahead to marry her, she will wreck me and leave me, he said she travelled now and I said yes, he said she was seeing someone else in the village, he said if I doubt him, I should go ahead.

It was then my mum now said, my younger sister told her of a dream she had, that I caught my fiancee with another guy and it leads to a fight which the said guy killed me. I myself have had such dreams too. The pastor gave me 3 days fasting and prayer. I am confused, despite all her cunning ways I still love her but what should I do and how do I go about leaving her. I will be 30 by 5th April, am not getting any younger. Please advice.

A colleague of mine just got a job with Reckitt Benkiser last month. When he was about leaving his indigenous pharmaceutical company his bosses just kept on asking where he was going to so he said, Pfizer plc. He doesnt owe hus previous comoanyba dime. But in a world where there is a direct lime to almost anybody and where image is everything you cant be too careful. Except its necessary i would always not tell or give a different company to previous employers. They are often not happy you are leaving and some callous one may want to punish you for that.

After my service July last yr, my company refused to staff me, that I can only be employed as a trainee engr which comes with only small stipend. So I wrote this particular test online on July for one multi national company in lekki. 2 months later I got a text from them to come for interview, I was surprised. I went there. I was interviewed by an indian, the interview was so intense, he asked me many questions including sm calculations on electrical engr, I tink I got most. That interview lasted for abt 30mins each prsn & we where just 15. On dec, I got a call from them to come for medicals. By Jan I waited for them, I was tempted to go & find out my status from them @ their office but I kept cool. So on wed evening as I was leaving office I got a call from the HR of this new company, & she asked me to come tomorrow for their offer letter. When I went there & saw their offer, it was wow. we were 7, they apologised to us for taking this long to finally recruit us, that we were the lucky ones out of thousands of applicants & they had to do thorough screening. Omo that night I couldn't sleep, happiness won kill me. So the next morning when I went to my office to resign, I first told my boss, he was shocked cos I was one of his top engrs that delivers well. When I went to the HR to submit the letter. She asked abt the new company & i told her. She quickly had a meeting with sm top ogas & even the MD. Right there, she printed an offer letter, I was shocked. So after all this while, na now una know my importance. I told her dt my new company is gonna pay me 3x this offer & it's an international company with job security. After I greeted sm friends I left knowing fully well I'm going to a far better place. I'm resuming this Monday & I can't wait to get started.
So my fellow Job seekers, I wish u all the best. There are still good jobs out there u can get without knowing anybody. This year shall be our year of plenty testimonies.

As a sharp guy, next time you dont have to tell your current employer where you are headed. You may give him a pseudo name or that of a diff company.

Employers may have links to eachother and some companies are mothers of others, your current bosss might just put a call across to your new boss, slander your image, and then the rest is history. Please be smart. (From experience)
