You ascribe meaning to things which are not there.

Same question goes to you. How do you know that life does not transcend the earth? Have you exhausted the limit of life to be sure it ends here on earth? You can't draw conclusions on your limited knowledge.

His views and definition of life is limited within our existence in this world and that's why life is meaningless to him and his co-travellers.

For us christians we know that life transcends this earth. Eternity awaits every human after we are done here on earth. For most of us christians, our confidence in the life after here is not only that it is in the bible but on very strong personal convictions. I don't beg people to believe. Its a matter of time for each of us to leave this world then the doubters will know whether we are right or wrong.

Nobody can confuse me on something I have strong convictions about. We all came into this world differently and will go differently so I cant sacrifice my convictions on the altar of someone else's.

My experience in my walk with God and his word(bible) over the years are too convincing that the bible is authentic. All you need do is to seperate the ones that are inspired word of God from the ones that are not. For example. the words of satan in the bible cannot be included as the inspired word of God. There are some other words there that cannot be included as the inspired word of God.

The mistake people make is in lumping every word in the bible together as inspired word of God.

Another example is David and Goliath. David was on God's side. The words he spoke were inspired by God and God honoured him with victory. Now you can't classify the words of Goliath as inspired word of God.

Again, the words of the pharisees which they used to tempt and provoke Jesus can't be classified as the inspired word of God. It is the words of Jesus to them that you can classiff as the inspired word of God. There are several other examples.

We became born again based on what we read in the bible not based on these other books you mentioned. Those discoveries cant be trusted more than the bible that we read, followed its guide and encountered Christ. Those who are not sure of their stand in Christ based on the bible can go for the other books you are talking about if they choose to. For us, the bible is authentic.

Again the issue you raised in the OP is a biblical issue and we can only answer it with the bible.

This is another of those things that make you realize that life cannot be different from what it is now. If God takes away our freewill, we become robots. Nobody wants to be a robot. If God leaves our freewill intact, we'll fxck up his joint the way we have earth. Nobody wants that. If God changes our nature, he exposes himself as malevolent, or as lacking omnipotence, or as both, since nothing else could have stopped God from making us with the nature that he plans to change us into. Heaven is a story for kids but sadly some adults think its something that can work.

Heaven isnt difficult to make bro. Yes Jesus has paid for our redemption on the cross but you still have your own part to play. If someone buys something for you, you still have a duty to meet with the person and collect the thing from the person. You need to go to Jesus in prayer and ask him to effect the work of salvation/redemption in you. If you pray with faith and sincerity, salvation will be yours.

Once you are saved, you dont need to worry about hell again. You remove your focus on hell and put it on Jesus according to Hebrew 12:2- "Looking unto Jesus the author and finisher of our faith". Its as simple as that. God will help you. Amen

Its a lesson for satan himself and a lesson for all of us who read the story.

For satan its a lesson that there are people who can love God even if God takes away their children, wealth and health from them. People who cannot yield or bow to the machinations of satan.

To us human

Its a lesson to us children of God that satan cannot do us anything beyond what God permits him to do.

Its a lesson to us that God gives and God can take, all to his glory.

Its a lesson to us that God can take and latter replace much more than taken.

Its a lesson how to be faithful to God.

Its a lesson to us that no matter the extent the devil fights us, God will give us victory at the end.

. My brother I'm not saying you should not use your freewill. I'm using mine too and all of us are using ours. The most important thing is to use it wisely.

When you say you don't believe in my version of God because you feel he allowed evil to happen in the bible does it change anything? No. It only satisfies your emotion. The same evil that took place in the bible and even worse evil than those ones are still happening now. And they happen to everybody including those who believe in different versions of god and those who don't believe in God at all. If detaching our believe in the bible God and switching to other versions of god or no god at all can stop evil from happening in the world then it would ve been a different thing. But here is a case where nothing on ground changes.

For example if a plane crashes, both those who believe in the bible God and those who believe in all-good god and those who don't believe in God at all will all die. So what's the gain in detaching my believe from Jehova God except satisfying my emotions?

May be you think I'm here to defend God or castigate him. I simply told you what is on ground.

God created things to manifest his glory. He used Job's case to manifest his glory. Whether you are angry or not is irrelevant here. He used his creation according to his purpose of creating.

Since after the case of Job, have people stopped dying such painful death?
Job understands God and wasn't angry with him. Rather he said, the Lord giveth and he taketh, let his name be glorified.
You are just crying more than the bereaved.
Again, the freewill God gave you manifests his glory. God is a creator and he creates for his own purpose not your purpose.
Until you people begin to face the hard truth about God you ll keep getting angry with him and it doesn't change anything. God is the boss.

WHERE IS THE FREEWILL HERE?

Young man be reasonble. The reply I gave you was in three parts. First was to correct your lies that God destroyed Job's family. Second was to tell you the realities of life. Third was to tell you God's purpose for creating and how it justify any action he takes on his creation.

I told you that life offers an unfavourable condition to one person while to another person the unfavourable condition becomes favourable. Is this statement a lie? If I die today, all the position I'm occupying in the society will be taken over by others. To my family, it is unfavourable while to the families of those who are occupying my position it is a favourable happening. That's the fact of life that I said you should accept. If you don't likke it can yoou change it? No. You can only be angry.

Coming to God's purpose for creation, you can only be angry about it or join atheism if you like but it doesn't change anything.
