I thought Niger is said to be very rich in Uranium...let them use the mineral resource for nuclear energy for their electricity abeg. Simple. |
PO's bigotry - tribal and religious - is out of this world. The time everyone should have gotten really alarmed was when that Oyo State LP candidate, Taofeek something, narrated his ordeal when Obi went to Oyo State for campaign. After the Alfa entered the car with Obi, he was rather completely repulsed, and perhaps visibly irritated. He could not stomach Taofeek, rather ordered him to get out of the car. The candidate was even the one that tried to reason a bit, that he should not let him go down at that first instance, because people would quickly understand what happened, and that may jeopardize Obi's chances. That incident alone spoke volume. The man does not hide it....he is a complete bigot. Period. |
Oja Oyingbo...ko mo pe enikan o wa o (Owing to its bustling nature, Oyingbo market is actually oblivious of anyone's absence) nedu666: |
Did anyone notice the respondents lawyers tried to use the testimony of the guy from NITDA to punch holes in the LP's Cybersecurity expert? Per ISO 27001/2 being in the NITDA Act, and the need to communicate with INEC. I don't know what they would make of those though. |
And he would have been bragging, and harassing his children before now: "I used to lead my school....I had A1 parallel....I got series of awards for my educational prowess". Oga, go and rest joor. 9jatriot: |
Good one there. She is actually dull. She was rambling about availability - region, server, bla bla bla. Cloud service is definitely not just about infrastructure as a service (IaaS), INEC might have gone with the Platform as a service model, and even have different apps for HOR/Senate and the President elections. In that case what she was reporting would be just about the infrastructure alone, she would never know about the status of the secure apps on PaaS. The performance stats on those apps would only be between the service provider (AWS, in this case) and the client (INEC, or its rep). drlateef: |
I appreciate your preference, but saying the post is meant for a retired General suggests that the President contravened a law or a regulation with that action, we both know he didn't. hybridblood07: |
I think they must have pushed his hands with their refusal to work with Ribadu as NSA. The man wants Ribadu in that post, and they were seeming a roadblock. Something has to give, right? hybridblood07: |
Only 8m people voted for BAT...though he won the elections, but he lost the votes, right? About 15m people voted against him, officially. That's enough mass to generate good momentum if called for protests. Please do us the honour of calling the dissenters for protests.....if 8m are tribalists, call the 15m nationalists. Period! slawomir: |
You have just been shouting what the SS states should do....advise the SE states too of what they should do to non-indigenes. States like Anambra, Imo.....advise. TUTU147: |
This man is really a clown. You petition an agency, casting aspersions on their decision; yet coming around to yell that the agency is defending her decision. |
I know that o...I was just giving them issues to ask the court, and that was why I said even laymen know there is no case there, but SANs must eat na! am4truth: |
These guys always play into Tinubu's hands. By virtue of this, they have taken some initiative off both Atiku and Obi to pray the courts on these same bases they are presenting. The Supreme Court would quickly attend to this, and rather certify Tinubu's election because everyone knows there's no meat in these concerns. Then Atiku and Obi, when they get to Appeal Court, they would be told those issues have already been determined at the Apex court. Lobatan. Anyways, they still have 25% FCT to fight for, though that too is very clear even to the laymen. |
Without doubt....he has fulfilled all the needed requirements to be sworn-in and accorded the full treatment of the office. Whoever wishes him well in this assignment, would also do well, and vice versa. |
I see that part of the issues the western medal has with the Nigerian elections is that the reality did not go at all with their pre-election projections. They could not believe it. Hey CNN, you too were carried away by the noise....you refused to filter the whole damn signal, and your projection is now 'bent'. The social media rants are not the only factor to determine people's direction...you were wrong! |
I used to wonder how easy it was for Hitler to get such numbers of people under his control to unleash the mayhem of the second world war. He did not have to do much; gave them false narratives, and watched them balloon them everywhere. Issues, as clear as daylight, yet you see Peter Obi's supporters chanting otherwise, drowning other people's voices; in fact, claiming other people do not have any right to air their voice. Nigerians beware! Even if this movement does not achieve its aim in this dispensation, and the energy subsist as it is, next try out can be very dangerous for the country. |
Storyteller......so, America should come and undo our election, abi? You quickly go write for new york times, so that what should happen? You lot have been copiously advised, carry your truckload of evidence to the courts. Simple. |
My own question is that: In what capacity did Obasanjo write that letter? As a former President, and an elder stateman? Or as a promoter of Peter Obi? If as a former President, he should keep his advice to his pocket, his regime is over, so he should let the current President manage the affairs of the nation, that's the reason he was elected. If he wrote the letter as a promoter of Peter Obi, I would only say to him Abeg shift! |

Why didn't they mention the name and party of the carrier? At least the identity of the one in Rivers is revealed, do same here too na. |
Imagine if BAT should win this election, Wike would definitely be involved in the central government. That would strengthen his influence in Rivers over Amaechi....and I don't know what would become of the lion of Ubima. Politics, na wicked game. |
Why is EFCC having headaches on this? Shebi old notes are not legal tender anymore, right? |
You want to spend your way to trophies....Ogarexmas: |

Was Adamu even aware there was an election in Osun at all? |
The country has always been divided, and the sentiments have always been there, it's just that Muslims do not make such loud noise when the "injustice" is against them. Try to check the vitriols and threats against MKO before settling for Kingibe, whereas when Christians pick Christian VP/Deputies running mate, you hardly feel any heat in the polity. Hmm. obynzo: |
Were there not threats, wails, and lamentations in 1993 over MKO's choice of Kingibe? There is no difference between 1993 and 2023. dyera: |
