@ dayo23, Canada does not really give athletic scholarship esp. for foreign students. so just do well on your WASCE result and have about 5-10 million naira in ur account knowing that after calculating everything plus skool fees for one year is about 3 million Naira (I know cuz my cuzzin just got admission in one of the universities in Toronto and that was the amount but in dollars)

@kolade5, I pity ur situation. Just have another plan and stay in Nigeria or look 4 another country as far as as coming to Canada is concerned, u wont make it.The worst thing you can eva do is to lie to the officials of this developed countries and to think that they called to confirm and u lied, implies that you are not worthy to come to their country and wont even return. They probably called to ask you to get the old passport so they can confirm if you make the changes you were asked to do.

This was my essay topic and from all indications, it is a blessing which turned to a curse which I come to term "Nigeria's Petroleum: A Natural Resource or a Natural Disaster", this was the title of my paper.

Alot of factors played into why it became a curse. Moreover, the "Economic Theory of Development" argues that states with adundant natural resources esp. rentier economies of which Nigeria is a prime example underdevelop compared with states with little or no natural resources. This I found to be true. However, if u find it otherwise, then critically examine how the political economy of that country is structured.
