I also found out that the guys behind their system attempts to manipulate the benefits to their advantage, they would hope the family would not show up to claim the benefits. Or make an attempt to frustrate you off the line. I've even withdrew myself since last week, but yet, my mind is always there. I can't leave my dad funds out there like that, that's his hard earned money.

At first, I do receive the alert on his line because have been using his line has a second sim on my phone. But while I went for the processing, I was asked to write a letter to stop the fund entering the account first, which I ignorantly did. But of what benefit is the inflow monthly when I never had access to the money directly. Hence the letter which eventually stopped the fund entering his account. My problem is that I don't know how long the process would be cos I will need lawyer and spend some fortune to complete the process, and that's y I never gave it a thought since last year to embark on it again.

You don't need any Lawyer. Have been able to submit all the required documents? If yes ask questions, make complaint to Pencom. There is officials Pencom line to each State. Call out the PFA on Twitter tagging Senate President Speaker, Pencom, FCCP. Most Nigerians are not ready to get things done. Approval for any complete documentation is within 7 working days according to the lastest Pencom regulation.

First, Why do both managers need to fight on who to manage Payroll when it is actually the responsibility of both parties to ensure that all staff salaries and allowances are paid accurately, and as and when due.

Payroll Management overlaps between HRM and FM, however, given that HRM is the People Business Partner, we can deduce that the primary responsibility of ensuring that all staff get what is due to them as compensation lies with the HRM.

For Preparation of the Payroll, it is better that the process is managed by the HRM given that it has all information regarding entry and exit of staff, as well as, who deserves to get what, from time to time.

The FM comes in when it comes to establishing the processes (building the Payroll Sheet or System) and advising on necessary developments as it relates to statutory compliance on a regular basis.

In practice, from both my local and international experience, I have seen that the HRM manages Payroll, while the FM reviews and disburse accordingly.

Given my above points and practical experience, I'd say the primary responsibility of Payroll Management falls on the lap of the HRM with the FM providing necessary and strategic reviews and input from time to time.

HRM is to schedule staff annual leave, shift, over time, other staff welfares, appraisal and also sanction erring staff. Financial matters doesn't concern HRM he can only advice based on staff claims, allowance due, punitive deductions necessary and other parameters needed in computing each staff salary for each month/ payment period under review in case of company paying every two weeks.

Go to Dubai and tell them that. I have been to dubai at least 6 times I have never had any problems. I remember once I was changing in the men’s shower at the hotel gym and took off my towel so I could put on my clothes and was briefly exposed.
