This happen irrespective of either poly or monogamy families.I am a living proof of this, Am the last in the family of 8, i know some of my elder brother are not in good term, i figure that its the fault of our parent, they tend to like and invest heavily in the eldest son n first child to the detriment of others, at the end of the day, they get nothing back.

The problem arise when the eldest became over bearing and kinda dragging us back, he is not up to the task, cos he doesn't give a poo about his siblings, its a long story but it come to to someone not being able to accommodate, help his sibling when in need and even wanting other to do things for him just cos he is the OLORI EBI (Head of the Family).

Parent should give equal love, care, investment in all their kids, no special treatment.

They only want more to loot from, they are not even practicing capitalism, what they are doing is Extinctionism using Natural Selection (survival of the Fittest)remember the Govt. is headed by a Zoologist, go figure.

This is sooo sad, i can't picture the whole thing, someone dies becuase of incompetency of some people who ought to do the right thing by clossing and fixing that faulty elevator. Am sure this must have happen many times but as you Nigerians will always look the other way.

They will never be satisfied, cos they are present being, women if not all are only concern about what they get presently, that is why they will never understand what they want in life. Either single or married, they are thesame. Most are only concern about present situation, they want to have all they could, sacrifice, patience, endurance,steadfastness, is never in their dictionary. That is why i call the "Present Being" most ladies are not bother about what future holds for them.

As to the reason why they get aggressive when caught cheating, they so much believe that any fault from they " men cause it" they trying to justify why they did it either for sexual or financial gain. Give woman money, she will cheat because of romance, give enogh romance, she will cehar for money, give her both, she will cheat because of adventure. You said she does not perform her responsibilities as a wife, what responsibilities are u talking about? When husbands complain abt wifely responsibility, one thing easily comes to mind. But then, you are not around her in naija, so what do u mean?

At least, one of u must get things done, if she is not forthcoming, talk to her and let her see reasons with you. For the family to retain its sanity, at least one of you must remain responsible, otherwise it will be house of commotion.

All i want is her taking care of my kid; i mean instill some good manner in him, not spoiling him, she hardly agree on anything i say, she always see it as me complaining as if she is not doing anything.

I believe i have being up to the task as a husband to my wife and father to my kid, she has this attitude or my perception of being selfish, its all about her, she can't endure some hardship for the greater benefit of all of us, she hardly support any idea or plan i bring fort. The last time i came to Naija, God i don't like my boi attitude, the boi is 2 n half years but my wife has spoil the boi, i will give her 20% for training the boi, though the boi look well kept, but interms of manner, hell no, I had a quarell with her when i spank the boi and told him to face the wall n raise his hand, my wife went inside and release him, that when i got sparked that never again she should interfere when am deciplining the boi, she got make and all that, plaing victim that i don't appreciate how she is raising the boi telling me that if am not satisfy i should come n take charge.

She take me for granted cos i feel to concern about her well-being and the kid.
