There's a case of a woman in Japan who contracted it twice. On that basis, I can say it's possible. |

linearity: Shatap there!
It is either God or Scientist; It is either a miracle or a pill....He is a jealous God and will not share his glory with anyone, not either with a Scientist or a Doctor.
When Jesus raised Lazarus from the death, how many Doctors were there to give him a pill or vaccine. When the venomous snake bite Paul, he did not get a dose of antidotes. I am not giving anyone any glory, but God. It is not either God or scientists, it is JUST God. Don't analyze things with emotions, calm down and read. |

Opiletool: No offence bro, but every person with a working brain doesn't need any pastor to tell him/her that this virus would vanish in no time. Serious countries have started working towards its cure from the moment it started, and there have been cases of patients who have recovered. Lol no offence taken at all. Not everyone needs a prophecy to be assured, but it doesn't change the fact that some people do. If the prophecy is truly from God (and not just some random prediction), then there's a need for it. Everyone isn't a scientist, just as everyone isn't a banker, etc, and that's why we all choose different disciplines in school. The scientists are doing their job, the pastors are also doing theirs. So if there's any lapses in the science sector, the criticisms should be against that system in the country, depending on the underlying factors. |
Christianity Etc › Re: Apostle Johnson Suleman: Coronavirus Will Disappear The Way It Came by Humanoid01(m): 12:23pm On Mar 18, 2020 |
Opiletool: Make it disappear or stop talking nonsense.
Scientists are working day and night to make the virus go away, you lots are sitting here collecting tithe and offering and making some predictions and pronouncements.
Now wehn the virus disappears, these lots would want to claim the glory of those scientists and their God-given knowledge and wisdom by claiming that the virus disappears as a result of their prophecies. Their prophecies could be true, and it serves a purpose -- to give the people hope. Of course, if it's true, you can't expect the disease to vanish just like that, it must meet certain processes (this is where the work of the scientists comes in). That's why in the end, God gets the glory because He gave those prophecies so that people can have hope, and the wisdom to those scientists to actualize the prophecies. No one gets the glory besides God, not even the scientists. In essence, everyone has their part to play. |

Stop giving your members vauge assurances when you yourself aren't all that immune to it. He did that, he advised his members to take precautionary measures. You just didn't pay attention to that part of the message. |

ignis: Hello, you don't quarantine large number of people together in a limited space. Have you ever been to NYSC orientation camp? It is more choked up that boarding school hostels. The share the same restrooms, queue to eat and so on. Also some body scratching corp members can't do without s ex for a day. What if there's already a carrier there? |
NYSC › Re: Coronavirus: NYSC abruptly ends orientation camp activities by Humanoid01(m): 7:16am On Mar 18, 2020 |
ignis: I won't be surprised that he made sense to you.
They are barley 8 days in the camp and the quarantine period lasts for 14 days. Within this 14 days convid 19 infected patient may not exhibit symptoms but could be able to infect others.
NYSC orientation camp is a big risk factor, because of the large population accessing limited resources. And then, if there are any chances that there's a carrier there who infected someone else, the new carrier would spread it to the wider populace. Wouldn't that be more risky? They shouldn't have allowed them go there in the first place, or at best should have kept them there for a while as a form of quarantine. |

Don't complicate your life and risk getting sacked (I can't state the connection between this and your job, but I know there is), or being in the news for the wrong reasons. She has a fiancé, let her be. You love her, but a man can't always have what he wants, a man's gotta do what he gotta do. She's toying with your emotions, don't give her that attention. |

Romance › Re: What Is The Best Way To Treat People Who Treat You Badly by Humanoid01(m): 10:57am On Mar 16, 2020 |
Don't let people change you. If you react negatively to a negative treatment, you're giving those people what they want and as such, they're winning. I believe that things like this happen to us so that certain characters can be built.
You can't determine what happens to you, but you can determine the outcome by how you react. To me, the best is to ignore those people and use what they throw at you to build your character, understand that the problem is not you, but them.
A lot of people have committed crimes because they had to react negatively (with anger) to a bad treatment. Of course, they're not at fault but the law doesn't see that, a crime is a crime whether or not the offender was the first to be attacked. |

Yes, partially, and he'd be in dire pain which of course is the point you're making. My point/question is what exactly is the usefulness of not feeling that pain? What would be the gain if the pain is not felt? |
