He's not trying at all. Honestly I agree with you, but I think he is still better than Lado. Have you heard that guy speak; very empty. And for someone who spent 10k per voter, won't he recoup his money? |

Sammy07: PDP should capitalize on it and A re run should happen.
I wan Dapo to sweat and run helter shelter. Even if there happens to be a rerun, you think Dapo won't win half or more of that 30k plus? |

LibertyRep: The margin is so slim, about 14k difference.
Will there be a rerun if the number of canceled votes is more than the winning margin?
What says the electorate act? He won with 19k votes in 2019 too, he didn't hit the ground running, hence, this electoral performance. Plus the fact that he went up against the runner ups in 2019, Lado and Akinlade, both ran as Gov and Deputy. |

TheCeasar: which person stronghold is remaining? Another LG is won by APC Ifo LG Dapo now leads with about 17,000 votes One LG to go, but I don't know which is left, but I guess it is Sagamu. And Sagamu is home to both APC and PDP, I think PDP will win the LG, but the margin won't be wide. |

With the 18 of 20 LGs announced so far, APC leads with about 13,000 votes.
2 more LGs to go.
It is safe at this juncture to say that Dapo has won a 2nd term as Gov of Ogun State.
APC 11 LGs PDP 7 LGs |

His littered abandoned projects couldn't make DA to start his own while the residents were expecting physical projects, DA was busy generating new source of income to the state.
Well, the money will be available for him to spend in his second term It is when he gets a Federal appointment that he will see money to lavish to disturb local peace. So I will rather he stays home. I just pray Dapo doesn't become complacent sha, and speed up things, he started slowly. |

I want to believe you are referring to another Dapo I guess.
If you don't have knowledge of something is it not better you keep silent than spreading fake news.
OGD can't win senatorial primary if not for Dapo and as such OGD is 101% supporting Dapo.
Is either you are ignorant of it or you are a propagandan who feed on same. Don't worry, you will hear the news after this election, I know first hand that OGD worked for Lado in this election. |

sunkieisland: Ogun State governorship election is one of the most volatile. Anyone from ADC, APC or PDP could win the election.
I was in a polling unit in Sango Area today, ADC won but in most places in Ota, PDP won. Whoever wins would have done so by the skin of his teeth, keenly contested. But DA might just carry the day. |

Aprocco: You dey learn. Even if you live in Australia or Pluto check the internet; it's a public knowledge. Did Dapo support OGD at primaries or even election.
Dapo wants to retire in Senate after 2nd Term. He presented a weaker candidate instead of Daniel for the seat. Dapo is not likely to beat an incumbent Senator Daniel.
For Osoba they fell out from the cabinet appointment stage. Kudos jare, person wey sabi politics and wetin dey go on underground. The guy is just a novice in politics, he prolly still won't believe. If you even look closely, you will notice OGD's hands in results coming out of Sagamu. Ogun West supported DA majorly because of Yayi's Governorship ambition in 2027, while the Central can't afford to see the East retain power for another 8 years plus the current 4. No one fell for Lado's "I will only use one term in office" bullsh*t, that line is stale. But let's wait and see sha, this paragraph might be wrong at the end of the day, but I doubt it. And Amosun, another bitter politician who would prolly go almost inconsequential after this election. |

forgiveness: You're a bloody liar. Son, if you don't know something, just shut the h*ll up, I personally know someone who was at one of the meetings at OGD's Conference Hotel, Dapo was against Daniel winning the Senatorial ticket, he even sponsored 3 other candidates against OGD, but the latter being a seasoned politician, outsmarted him. Politics is beyond the pictures you see on the pages of newspaper or motion media. But then, you don't need to believe, just wait and see their relationship go sideways irrespective of the elections outcome. I was certain he would support DA too, but then, naija politics is all about interests, betrayals and counter- betrayals |

funshint: That PDP LADO guy dey very empty. Make Abidun still retain that place. He should be able to win all those Ijebu-Ode, Agọ, Ijebu-igbo area. Although I agree with you on the emptiness of Lado, but I see him winning Ogun East, the combination of Baba Ijebu and OGD is too lethal for a docile Dapo to withstand. But they might yet help him play the same cards that brought him into office. |
