If you want the continuous killing and raping of Southern and Christian community men and women, vote Atiku. ![]() |
SLAP44:1. The thread was two and half years from the end of his tenure, a period when we know how lax Governors and Presidents in Nigeria can be; slowing down when nothing is at stake again. What kinda miracle can a Governor perform that he hasn't in 5½ years? ![]() And regarding improving the State's IGR, he is the worst of all civilian governors of the State since the return of democracy. 2. Isn't it obvious by now that we do not need any of the current generation of politicians? We need technocrats to fix the country. Obi has always been part of the generation that screwed us over. Same fellow that was in bed with one of the most corrupt black men of all time until late last year. Personally, I would have preferred a neutral outside the current blood sucking lots. Although I can't vote, but I pray it is anybody but Atiku. |
[quote author=SLAP44 post=121090323]Tell us the name of any man, dead or alive that is more credible than Peter Obi in Nigeria politics? Thousands of pictures abound all over the Internet of the roads, schools, hospitals, bridges, power transmission stations and numerous other infrastructure built by Peter Obi, all are still standing and functional. But you will pretend not to be aware of them because of your bias. Now, if truly the man performed excellently well, why has he failed to have any impact in Anambra politics since he left APGA? Two, why did he receive so many criticism as a Governor? https://www.nairaland.com/870945/what-exactly-peter-obi-doing/1 As a well travelled and educated person, I don't shove down my throat whatever old and new Media sends my way, I don't just follow the multitude, I do my own research. While I know most Obidients won't hear a contrary opinion about their man, the only positives about Obi and the advantage he has over others are his age and maybe the fact he is less corrupt. This is so IMO, is because he hasn't found himself where Atiku and Tinubu found themselves. Let's wait until he's or if he becomes President. Power tends to corrupt; absolute power corrupts absolutely. A person's sense of morality lessens as his or her power increases-- Lord Acton |
Naira20:Was/is Peter Obi not one of them? Another well repackaged "Messaih" like GEJ and Buhari. Well, I hope he wins, I really want to see him disappoint me. ![]() |
SLAP44:While I have my reservations about Tinubu's aspirations, please spare us, with pictoral evidence, what did Obi do as Anambra Governor biko? Again, Nigeria is so unfortunate to have the leading trio as their only viable options. Like the others, Obi is as clueless and corrupt as they come, albeit, corruption get levels. Every perceived messaih in Nigeria ends up being a colossal failure...GEJ without shoes, Buhari with his anti corruption mantra and now a repackaged fraud. |
Adaisback:And you know this how? ![]() |
AtikuOkowa:Peaceful indeed. It beats my imagination that any sane Southerner would want to vote another Fulani man into power, after what our farmers and rural dwellers have and are experiencing in this Buhari government. Not only that, every strategic non political positions are being held by Fulanis, and Southerners systematically eased out of the top brass of the military. Ordinarily, I would hope an Atiku administration will be different, but for a man who couldn't stand by his press release in condemnation of Deborah's brutal death,it is like sleeping on a moving bike. |
Obviously...it might mark the beginning of the end of Nigeria. But unfortunately, this election is designed for another Fulani to take over from the current one, so that they can further strengthen their grip on the soul of the country. |
shugagurl:I really don't know where you got this your theory that Yoruba Muslims and Christians don't get along. In almost every family in Yorubaland, you find the 3 religions; Christianity, Islam and Traditional. And they all co-exist with little or no rancour at all. When you talk about religious tolerance, we are way above the two other major tribes. When it comes to accommodating others, we still stand at the peak. So all these strange believes about the Yoruba people being brought to fore for political reasons are baseless and senseless to say the least. |
meobizy:True, but depending on the outcome, fists fight can also land one a lengthy or life sentence, you know. R.I.P |
Hendrixky:Yet we are the most accommodating of all the tribes in Nigeria. Things we condone in Yorubaland, no region can take half of it. |
rickpat:As in ehn ![]() Gaining admission into US isn't difficult, the main hurdle is the visa application. Fully paid tuition and rock solid proof of funds doesn't guarantee a study visa when it comes to the US. Your about be ex is a learner, a very big one at that. Just thank God she's showing her true colours early enough |
Wait a sec, was this picture taken before or after the said encounter? Damnnnnn, the look on that b^tch's face is evil...like "how dare you b^tch!!!! I could sm0ther you in your sleep if I have my way". ![]() That sure wasn't a one time feeling for her atleast... jealousy and anger written all over her face. Is the other girl still alive?
|
Says a chronic thief who cut grass with N500m under the same APC. Some of these rogues think we have short memories. ![]() |
I am an Arsenal fan, but I believe Chelsea will be a fierce opponent to play against once these new players gels with the oldies, and of course, under a formidable manager. It is to early to write them off. |
Hmm |
Mynd44:And you think Spain would let go of such a fantastic player? I highly doubt it. And I am sure the girl would prefer to wear the colours of Spain at the senior level than Nigeria. Remember, the Super Falcons rarely get paid; they are always owed their bonuses and cheated out of individual and cooperate gifts too. |

Only allowed for open book tests or exams, not applicable across board. Some lecturers in Nigerian institutions allow it too. |
Iamgrey5:Well, that's the beauty of his game. I pray Smith Rowe returns to his best soonest, so that he can lift some burden off Martinelli. |
Martinelli looks jaded, the dude needs some rest |
She and her husband are in an open relationship though. Oyinbo way of life. ![]() The only law she and her male colleagues broke was actually performing sexual acts while on duty and within the police facilities. |
I think she is in an open relationship with the husband |
chokekachy:Well like I always say, Nigeria is so unfortunate to have these 3 frontrunners for her number one seat. However, since we're somehow restricted to these thieves, voting the one with the most verifiable track record should be everyone's priority. But no, as a country, we keep making the same mistake, over and over again. We never learn. |
CLRF:Funny enough, I didn't even know he was running for Presidency until you mentioned it now. How come is his name isn't in circulation? Well, he was obviously the fall guy since his boss died, he had to shoulder it all. Whatever was perceived of him and his real role in Abachas government, I believe are stains that can't be washed away from his public image ever again. Historically, whenever there is a stinking info about an individual, and it is allowed to stick for months or years, no amount of rebuttal or cleansing can redeem the person's image in the public's eye again. I wish him well though |
Wait, so Atiku can't even buckle up his own seat belt, nah security aid dey do am ...8th wonder...Power and money are their greatest motivation, they don't give half a f*uck about the masses. |
Cromagnon:Point of correction, we do not have 37 regions, rather, we have 36 states, plus the FCT...and all are divided into 6 regions. Will all may be bad, but some are far better than the others. So let everyone develop at their own pace with their mineral resources, and so that everyone can hold its own tribesmen in political positions responsible. I beg to differ, as a people, we are nor lazy, neither is the government too. Although, the political class can be cruel, but I don't blame them atimes when they embrace socialism or welfarism kinda govt. The thing is that Nigeria's problems are multifaceted, we are neck deep in debt, and even if the next President somehow finds a way to maneuver the problems and the debt, four years isn't enough to fix the decadence, neither is 8 years. Now, would Nigerians be that patient? Will there be continuity if the President lays the foundation for a better Nigeria. Yeah, you are right, the game is the game, but it isn't good enough for the country. You just keep shouting "lazy lazy"...could you please shed some light on that? |
CLRF:Elites worldwide are mostly self centered, only that the African Elites added highest level of wickedness to theirs. Well, I don't think Almustapha qualifies to even be mentioned on this topic, his past stinks. I doubt he will ever be trusted with power beyond the State level ever again. |
twilliamx:Egusi ke, chai You don see who dem use make egusi soup before? |
There is no way Nigeria will get that saviour she is in dire need of anytime soon, except the country reverts to regional governance at the very least. The next government will just come up with excuses as usual. The problem of Nigeria is multifaceted, and I see none of the frontrunners sincere and well equipped enough to change the status quo. The problem is that what one possess, the other lacks...Good academic qualifications, age, health, track records, nationwide acceptability, religious tolerance etc The political class in conjuction with their religious counterparts, make use of religion and tribal difference to play the masses, after the power falls on their laps they unite behind closed doors for another 4 years. If you think you have free will to choose your leader, you are greatly mistaken. All nah scripts written behind the scenes |
Max in 48 days time, we go differentiate the noisemakers from the real contenders, and know who our next President is. Wetin me I know is that, it will still end up being the Political Class vs the Masses. The difference between them all are their evident track sound records vs made up records, renowned crooks vs pretentious crooks, healthy vs unhealthy etc. Nigeria is just so unfortunate to have these frontrunners we currently parade, hence, whether Tinubu/Atiku wins or Obi wins, Nigerians are still f***cked either way. I just laugh when people call Obi the "saint or savior", it is the highest level of delusion to think that Obi is different from the folks he wined and dined with in recent past. Just like the Internet was used to polish the images of GEJ and Buhari to the seat of power, let's see how far it will take Mr Peter Obi. But whichever way, Nigeria is my country, and I wish that the winner disappoints me; I want to be proven wrong. |
