Definitely a heart attack, his heart couldn't take it anymore. RIP bro. |
His heart couldn't take it anymore, RIP bro. |
Saidfx:Very strange set of people. But like I always say, every people deserve the kind of leader they get. |
a4cube:Soludo was a CBN Governor, and like him, I also follow brilliant minds like Okonjo-Iweala, and many others. The fact that I don't really care about politics outside my region doesn't mean I don't study current affairs. For example, I can atleast name at least 30 Governors in Nigeria and their political parties. And what I mean is that, I am particularly worried about those whose governance affect me directly or indirectly, that does not mean I can't enter conversations about other regions or countries. Moreover, people from that part are so obsessed about happenings in Lagos in particular. In Abia for example, they support Oti, and I feel he should be tried too, because I have read some interesting things about him. I don't follow politicians blindly. |
a4cube:I don't care about governance outside my domain that much, every people deserve the kinda leader they get. I can't even remember who APC candidate was then. I have always respected the man since his days as CBN Governor. And I have been following developments in Anambra since he became Governor. Plus I am don't just follow the multitude blindly, for example, I can't because I like a Presidential candidate just follow all his party's contestants at all levels without knowing what they individually have to offer. |
Just like the one at Sun City, South Africa, just that this is larger |
Last last, nah the ordinary people go suffer am. You can't have a Governor in one and lawmakers in another, the State won't achieve a thing, e go be rancour all through. And that's how god fatherism begins, a 3rd term in Anambra through the back door. You finally voted a Governor who seem to know his onions and knows about governance, nah una still wan use una hand dabaru him govt, interesting! ![]() |
They didn't just want to mention the Ukrianian war, the countries who received Ukrainians are groaning codedly. |
hybrid77:Well, except something changes in terms of their salaries and allowances in the nearest future, you can't go to Nigeria's House of Rep and go back to the slum, you are made forever. |
I believe he snubbed her because of her heavy lipstick |
mylikes:Exactly, but I think Dapo will till carry the day in Ogun East due to the facts that he holds the power of incumbency, I heard he performed over there, and the Daniel factor (remember he just won the Senatorial seat). Likewise, Adeola Yayi would make sure he does his best to help Abiodun win, he wouldn't want to face an incumbent going for a 2nd term. However, the fact that my Ogun West people are fond of miscalculating, Otegbeye's performance might just decide the fate of Dapo and Lado. But left to me, Otegbeye can't win this. Amosun who couldn't enthrone Triple A when he was Governor, now wants to enthrone a weaker candidate when he won't be holding any office after office. People should perish the thought of an upset from him. But he will still play an important role. Although my money is on Dapo, I still expect a very tight race between APC and PDP. Tinubu's victory will play a huge role in this too. |
This election will be very tricky, but Dapo go still win. For someone who has former Governor, Gbenga Daniel and Yayi in his corner, it will be an uphill task to uproot him. PDP should be more worried about ex- Governor Amosun backed Otegbeye, he would eat deep into PDP's potential votes. And again, the fact that Abiodun and Adebutu are from the same polling unit complicate things even further; other districts wouldn't want to wait for power for another 8 years. |
Great goals, especially the first. Kudos |
frankson1:Perhaps you just start to dey watch football, any time wasting antic or VAR check affects injury time, except there is a wide gap in the scoreline. |
Angelfrost:Because of time wasting at the 1st minute of the injury time nah. Plus Arsenal had about 5 penalty appeals that weren't given, that's the least the Ref could do. |
Pacesetter123:Now I understand your point, and it makes sense. But don't you think this section of the constitution basically means the eventual winner must get 25% in at least 2/3, which is 24 of the 37 States, which includes in this context, the FCT? Well, I am not a lawyer, and it depends majorly on the interpretation of this section of the constitution by the highest Court in the land. The responsibility now rest on the retinue of Labour top lawyers to argue successfully this clause. |
Truetalkisreal:Where exactly did the lawyer State 25%? He said win. So you can't proof a point without insult? Wahala ![]() Whatever, no vex. ![]() |
But why was Buhari sworn-in as President in 2015? Plus Abuja nah PDP State on a steady nah, then how come Buhari was sworn into office twice? Or is it in the new electoral law?
|
Jennyclay:Only you said the election was rigged, only you is still contradicting yourself by saying "there are over 8m mad people in the country". Meaning, you are admitting APC's figures are authentic. For the records, Osinbajo was my man until he lost the primaries, after which my desire was just for a Southerner to win the election. Having said that, every political party manipulated this election one way or the other, just that the best rigger won. I have seen videos of Labour and APC doing their thing in their various strongholds, let's not even mention PDP, those ones are legends. APC won because of the power of incumbency. |
Zikojukwu:Take a second look, it is not |
Kasdat5:Hahaha For your info, Obi might win this. Voters turnout in the North is super low. And with the large numbers Obi is getting in Niger, Abj, SS and SE, he might just be the next President. His only challenge might be his inability to nick the 25% in 2/3 States. But let wait sha, by midnight, we will get a clearer picture |
Kasdat5:When i have my son back home? And who is this security magician ojare? ![]() |
Kasdat5:But not as it is brazenly done now and one sided too. Okay o. I hear you, but not until security improves. |
Kasdat5:Okay sir, I hear you. But we are saying the same thing. You have been attacked in the SW and SS more than North. I still kinda talk to people at my village, I know what they are passing through from the hands of cattle rustlers and the security forces protecting them by mentioning order from above. |
Kasdat5:He who wears the shoe knows where it pinches. All the front runners are all thieves, but I would rather choose a thief who favours my people. I reside outside Nigeria, but I care about my people. Only if they are alive can we hope for a bright future together. So my friend, this is democracy, but the fact that your reasons for supporting your preferred candidates differs from mine doesn't make you my enemy, and vice versa. Wetin turn face to one person, nah back e turn to the other. So Mr. Myopic, all the best to your candidates |
Kasdat5:We can't afford to to vote another Fulani to take over from the incumbent who stood akimbo watching his kinsmen ravage our villages and farmlands. |
Kasdat5:I am more concerned about the wellbeing of our villagers and farmers if you get what I am saying. |
Kasdat5:I am Yoruba bro, but neutral. I am for anyone but Atiku |
alimiadedayo1:Well, I am beginning to perceive that |
alimiadedayo1:Sorry jare, my bad. Let's see how it plays out |
Okay nah |
Not far from the truth Prof, not far from the truth. Even the rats in various households felt and are still feeling his impact, what a great President he is, greatest of all time. ![]() |

47% and 51% respectively) in Abuja.
