If is by electoral population GEJ won't have won 2011 elections
We are talking about aspirants here, not flagbearers.

The electoral population of the SE will still fall short of delivering the candidacy to a united SE, not to talk of a disjointed one.

GEJ was incumbent, and from SS too...and with what I have deduced the majority of the political class in the land trust the SS with power far above the Igbos

Confusionist

South West does not have a consensus candidate: No problem

The North does not have a consensus candidate: No problem

South East does not have a consensus: Igbos are not united, Igbos are not loyal, Igbos don't love each other
The difference between the 3 regions you mentioned is that, while 2 have the electoral numbers to sway the election results in its favour, SE doesn't have that kinda luxury, they somehow have the smallest population of all regions, hence, the encouragement to pull resources together, present a candidate, and he will be seriously.

Osinbajo's loyalty to his boss will do the magic, plus he is the most competent among all the aspirants
On a good day he should be the one, but these people don't think that way. From all indicators points towards Osinbajo or Amaechi, but one can never trust these Fulani men in power.

Knowing that money politics work wonders in Nigeria, the son of man dey clinch to the surest man to buy the PDP ticket. And if that fails and PDP considers Obi, he will have a soft landing and return to the corridors of power.

Hilarious...so because someone sees me fit to do some certain tasks, plainly because he knows I have the mental capability to do so, I shouldn't aim higher in life? That's some sick level of narrow mindedness.

Plus do you know the number of people Tinubu has backstabbed metaphorically and literally? So you ardent supporters of Tinubu have no moral grounds to complain.

Education › Re: Truth Or Dare: What Really Is The Game All About In Nigeria? by humberjade:
While we can blame the girl's mother for being negligent with the over all welfare of her children, we shouldn't shy away from the fact that world has grown beyond censoring what our kids are exposed to. Fine, we can censor it to the best of our ability, but won't the parents hustle in order to provide for the kids?

Back in the days as kids, our parents tried their best to keep us guided when they around, when they aren't, the fear they instilled in us ensures we still behaved decently in their absence. Spare the rod, spoil the child...parents are too soft on these kids these days.

All I can say is that instill highest level of discipline in your children, flog them when necessary, pray hard for them and let them cultivate the habit of participating in prayers and reading the Holy book. But the most important right now, is early sex education...as early as 10 if possible...trust me, no parent can monitor the kids we are raising now 100%. But this girl's mum failed woefully as a mother.

Except you are super rich, stay home to home school them...but at the end of the day, this too could be detrimental in the future.

Well, I guess it is because this is an APC thing and that's their weakest zone. Plus the fact that the SE has the least number of States. And has the lowest population too. Plain and simple

You are correct but show me a governor or president in Nigeria that didn't choose his successor? Obj brought Musa Ya dua, BAT brought Fashola, kwankwaso brought the current kano state governor.

PMB must accept and recommend anyone who will succeed him, bookmark this comment ok. Many factors shows that anyone that will be APC flagbearer come next year must be anointed by PMB. This is Nigeria ok.
Yeah, didn't read through my points? I am not saying Buhari can't do it, but it will be difficult, and probably break the party. Plus Buhari doesn't know how to negotiate these things, he always wants to use force without caring whose ox is gored. But the leaders you mentioned are more diplomatic...they use carrot and stick to make people fall in line. Buhari no send person papa.

For those who imposed without diplomacy, most often than not, their candidates fall short at the main election. Amosun is a typical example in 2019.

How? Oga nothing. I insist nothing will happen most especially if the candidate comes from south west.
Except that sha...that was why I mentioned earlier that if the party somehow sideline Tinubu and gives it Osinbajo, maybe Tinubu will just go with the flow. But should GEJ or Amaechi wins it, APC don break be that.

But something keeps telling Buhari and his people wants to purposely destroy APC, with the hope that Atiku wins the PDP ticket...meaning another 8 years for the North. Remember Atiku acted as the groom's father during Yusuf Buhari's wedding. I don't trust the North one but when it comes to power.

And if they screen tinubu out?
Based on what ground do you think Tinubu can be screened out? Well, should that happen, the only thing that would make Tinubu calm down is if Osinbajo wins. Other than that, he will either strike a deal with the opposition or decamp to SDP to pursue his ambition.
Politics › Re: Osinbajo's Problematic Ambition - The Cable by humberjade: 6:12am On Apr 19, 2022
I will always choose Osinbajo over Tinubu any day, anytime, but that doesn't mean the truth shouldn't be said. Without a firm endorsement from Buhari, there is no way Osinbajo can win the APC primaries. Out of the top people vying for the APC Presidential ticket, he's the only one with the weakest political base.

Tinubu seem to have locked down most of the delegates...unfortunately too, Tinubu can stand shoulder to shoulder with the Presidency financially to buy the delegates. Except the Presidency somehow successfully imposes a concensus candidate, Tinubu will be the party's flag bearer come 2023.

And going the concensus way means a guaranteed implosion.
Education › Re: Chrisland Breaks Silence On Sex Scandal, 5 Pupils Misbehaved In Dubai by humberjade:
The truth of the matter is that a lot of Nigerian parents erred in their duties to start educating their wards about sex early.

Whether we like it or not, it has become extremely difficult to prevent from getting exposed to adult contents these days. After all, we can't follow them everywhere they go. Their peers, relatives and neighbours could knowingly or unknowingly expose them to these things without the parents' noticing a thing.

At the age of 10 in advanced countries, as crazy as it might sound, parents have started educating their wards about the dangers of early sex, use condoms and after morning pills. They do these because they don't live in self denial; they know what the world has become and what their wards are exposed to when they aren't there. On the contrary, an average Nigerian parent feels a 10 years old is to young to be educated about sex. Those kids have teared eyes tey tey.

Obviously, that wasn't the first time for those kids...they looked pro.

If your kid dey boarding house, it is well o

I repeated the same process again, and the same thing happened. He obviously was getting a lady ready to speak with me...but whenever my call went in, the lady was prolly not there. Good decision. They have finally seen the light
A politician keep jumping from one party to the other, and people keep hailing him...In my own humble opinion, the main reasons why Nigeria is the way it is, is because of the individuals we have at the helms at all levels, not the party per say. We've seen PDP Governors perform, likewise those of APC...likewise, we have seen the worst of from both parties. Until people start seeing individuals instead of parties, we will continue to go round in circles. And the political class will continue to take us for a ride.

For example, Obaseki and Ortom have represented both parties, please tell me what changed for their people?
