Nwakali subbed off, he did not have the greatest game. He was confident on the ball and showed a willingness to shoot. Average game overall.
it is high time this defensive midfielders work on their passing skills not just to shot...
ndidi and onazi are also guilty of this...reason why I believe the call for Joel Obi....

I have no idea what so ever about Ogude it was to get the discussion going. I didnt recommend I asked.

I will talk mainly about Nigerian origin players in England. These are the guys I watch, talk too watch thier training sessions, age grade competitions and see day in and day out. As well as senior games from all leagues across England.

So let's just say I then know what I am talking about.

However, in this forum we seem to discuss a few select players. We don't talk about the MLS which is rated higher than the Eredivisie and Belguim league. But almost zero mention of Nigerian players in that league.

We seem more interested in past youth players who relying old past glories than confirmed proven tested professional players cutting it in thier leagues. Why.

No insider substantive information about our players on mainland Europe beyond recycling other people's comments and deceptive you tube video clips that can be misleading.

Am I expecting too muchhuh huh
see how you try to bury face....after your call for fegor ogude was refuted on substantial facts...

I have say this over and over again...
many a time this postulation of yours don't work...it is not about the league ranking but the potential of the player in question...

you should know this things.....this players are not as fortunate as the Europeans or south Americans coupled wit their greedy agents to get high ranking leagues to play....

you looking for all loopholes to justify your wayside belief that the invitation of nwakali was not on track....

I expect you to move on by now...

Man City Loanee Kayode May Get Eleventh-Hour Call-Up To Nigeria Squad

Manchester City loanee Olanrewaju Kayode may be called up to the Nigerian national team at the eleventh hour following the injuries suffered by three players initially named to the 24-man roster.
Ex-Watford star Odion Ighalo has withdrawn from the squad after spraining his knee, while Gent winger Moses Simon and Trabzonspor midfielder Eddy Onazi might also be lost to injuries.
Since making his competitive debut against South Africa in June, Kayode was omitted from the pool that faced Cameroon and Zambia, and was not even placed on standby for the games against Algeria and Argentina.
''Kayode may now replace Ighalo more so that Moses Simon and Onazi are huge injury doubts,'' a Super Eagles official told SCORENigeria.com.ng.
After an indifferent start to his career in Spain with Girona, Kayode has impressed in his last two matches in the Spanish top-flight against Deportivo de La Coruña and Real Madrid.
The former Golden Eaglets and Flying Eagles star has made ten appearances in La Liga, and has two assists to his name.

For the record I didn't say Iheanacho was bad, just that his performance today does not merit a starting shirt ahead of Okazaki, did I lie?
who is saying you said nacho was bad...nah...probably you decoded my quote wrongly...
I only added your earlier words on nacho...now being a bench warmer which you just replied to be a joke.

and for your question....okazaki deserve a starting berth...and besides nacho is nt doing badly...

Tega Onomah, Seyi Ojo, to start with I could have added Oviemuno Ejaria but he is undecided as far as I am concerned. But could be convinced.

That's just a few in England.
the later two you named...are not eligible to play for US.....
they're British players...
and for hope and chuks...
please tell me their achievements this season....and their contributions to their team success....
we are talking of a player here wit good defensive qualities and offensive threat of good shots...

let me say this without mincing words...currently he is better than both...don't forget the young man is a man city player and the reason why he is not playing in England is because of work permit rules.....

I can make a joke out of anything, like when theGoodJoe suddenly forgot that he used to say that a coach isn't always the 'all-knowing', does that mean anything? The joke about him being on the bench was because Mujtahida assumed he started the game.....why am I going this long, Oga if you do not understand the difference between a joke and a serious comment then just face your lane and leave those who understand a joke to laugh about it.

Then about Okazaki, read through the comments, there were PEOPLE saying he should start ahead of Okazaki, I don't know why you are now assuming a defensive position, I don't even know how you entered this argument now
if you want me stay on my lane...I think then you don't have to comment here...because here is an open thread eligible for everyone.

Never played first team.

Not too long ago actually earlier this year about February. It was made intrinsically clear to that he didn’t want to play for England.

I have heard talk that he does now.

Which may not be surprising he wants to go to the World cup and he is a forgotten man as far as England is concerned.

Since we talking Norway moi moi league.

What about 21 year old Samuel Adegbenro in one of the two stand out quality teams in that league. Plays for Rosenburg FC as winger 13 games this season in all competitions and 5 goals.

I wonder why the esteemed scouting crew of the NFF never noticed him. But somehow went to the bottom third to club and said Aha !!! Real quality.
Adegbenro Samuel is not a Defensive Midfieder...
I asked for a Defensive Midfieder...
if you look at Nigeria eligible players in Europe...
they're enough wingers...even strikers.....ahead of Samuel....
though I agree he may be on the coach watch list....even Paul is...

but a Defensive Midfieder I guess you've none..?

You know the EPL can be a leveller.

I said donkeys ago the true test for KC as a striker will be when he leaves City. Where he was surrounded by world class international players. These are players that will make you good and even better than you actually are.

The true test is now. How well can he adapt in a very hard working team. Now there is a new manager there can be no excuses.

Otherwise his value will plummet.

If Ndidi can step up why not KC.
and so....the young man is not doing badly please let's cut him some slack...

no one could point to vardy poor decision making today....but nacho is singled out for criticism...

the boy is gradually making progress...

but here in this thread we want to believe that he had such an outstanding match and should be easily starting ahead of Okazaki. We have tons of comedians in here
Okazaki is one of the most skillful and hardworking player in that team...
since the start of the season....he has been in top form...
so no one expect nacho to displace him just like that....
I believe nacho progression in the club is on a steady part...he played over 30 mins today ..with a good assist to vardy. ..I believe the English man was in a good position to convert only poor decisons cost him that goal....

so presently nacho is doing fine...

I have seen some of your comments aim at digging deep at the young man....
even mocking him a bench warmer...

good for you though...just your opinion and it holds no water...anyway

Playing any role in third from bottom club in a moi moi back water league already totally disqualifies you.

However, if while in that league you are the indisputable stand out player then yes there is a small possibility.

Because defending against players in a league rated 30 in Europe and defending against forward player in La Liga, Bundesliga, French League 1 and or any top 5 rated league in Europe. Can not by any stretch of the imagination be the same thing and is certainly not the same thing.

Defending against Lukaku, Neymar, Ronaldo, Lewandoski etc is not the same the same as the unknown enriks in that league.
you've still not answer his question...

I believe Rohr should now concentrate on Ighalo, Iheanacho, Nwakaeme, Kayode, Onwuachi may be Dressers for WC,we don't have much strikers out there except if Awoniyi and Osimhen can pull a surprise coz they cannot be ruled out of contention.
bro...
please you're absolutely right...
I will also want the nff to begin work in earnest towards the next age grade competitions....
and also... see up structures to keep grooming those discovered under 15 stars in the last NPFL under 15 promise tournament and zenith bank cup....and also keep the tourney on going......

also a committee/scouting network....to help list and call up those youngsters who have openly declared for us....also approach them as a means of formation recognition...

players like deji and co....
I think we should start going after players only who had declared to play for us...even if we think they're not good enough...
an average player is better and profitingto the super eagles... than a quality player who choosed not to play for us......

And what is his nationality status?
the problem with nff...is lack of sense...
they gladly go after players who will embarass them and the country rather than players who declared for us...

this dude trained wit the super eagles sometime ago in London including ola aina...

we don't even have an under 20 team as at present...no friendlies for the age grade teams...

just imagine what's wrong wit inviting someone like dessers to come replace ighalo and let him feel appreciated
with the way the nff is going nah I don't think it is safe to declare for the super eagles anymore....

what's wrong wit inviting otigba when he was in his prime...?
many of this good players we will keep loosing because the coaches and the football federation are just myopic...
