Please, can someone help me I got denied at French embassy ; their reason is that they doubt I did come back . I once tried to book appointment with Spain and the BLS debited me and up till now they have not refunded me back. They used to pick my calls and after sometime they stopped picking my calls nor refund my money . This made me to seek tourist visa in French embassy . I am a first time traveler in EU country. I have been to few countries like Maldives , Mauritius Island, UAE, Lomé, Kenya , Abidjan , Benin etc. And I have never exceeded more that 2 weeks . I submitted necessary document including landed doc, my accounts all to no avail . I am a single parent which I also stated in my letter and attached my son’s picture yet to positive response . I usually travel with my son but because school is in section I couldn’t and my leave fell in the school period . This will actually be my first holiday since I had my son 7 years ago and this people messed it up for me . Pls , can someone aid me out with any EU country that is easier to secure their visa . Lest I forget I am not trying to elope . And I can’t put my son in such stressful means … please, someone should aid a sister out. A week break from Lagos and Nigeria stress 😭

Overstay requires a legal representation. Since you were in Sa for long, it makes it easier. Please ask your contact to help you get an immigration lawyer with connections to the home affairs. In no time, it will be wiped from the system, if you can afford the legal fees. Be informed that Overstay is not an easy process, All the best

It 9 years since we came back to Nigeria (with 2 kids) hubby too became frustrated when he couldn't renew his visa too. He later came back to Nigeria. Now, I want to apply for master's and go back, is there any chance of being given visa after 9 years, with over stay record even though the years have passed?

I advise you apply for a direct sticker visa at vfs ikate. Just collect all the documents in pdf format from your friend in sa via mail.

You can send him the format, but the address in this case will change. he will address embassy in nigeria, not home affairs in pretoria.

1. Write an invitation letter to the home affairs.
2. Attach his id
3. Proof of residence/ house rent receipt or something. This is what you attach to your application. The chances of first timers getting south african visa now is very slim. However, if you ground yourself with the requisite support documents , you will be granted . Goodluck.

Your prolly need send like several mails to get feedbacks.
Keep sending , DONT STOP.
Hacc is a small section of the home affairs.
Emails are rarely replied immediately, unless you keep sending.
They have too many to respond to.

It does not take so long, sometimes it does. due to verfications done backend, however, do send a mail to the embassy. You could get their email on their website. All the best.

Dates for MAy be available on April 28 according to VFS website. Try to get and send a new application. But if you do not get, try send appeal. Better be awake from Saturday midnight into Sunday
