blink182: Despite the traffic there's hardly any downtime, please what sort of hosting do you use, is it VPS, cloud hosting or shared hosting?

I'm not Seun but I know a little on web host. I think he uses VPS to host this forum. Hosting with normal webhost(shared hosting) is not ok for sites with alot of traffic. Infact, it is not ideal generally except you have limited budget.
Note: Seun is probably not managing the site himself and can hardly even see this post

I didn't pay anything to customs. Whenever you are placing an order, in the comment/remark space always tell the seller mark item as gift and also declare low value/price on item. With that you'll escape customs wahala

mayorall: Friends let's share little tips on how to get goods at cheaper price on alibaba and aliexpress.

You can add or remove

1. Chinese sellers dont take buyers or sellers sending messages and negotiating via mail serious, so you need trademanager, once you have these, they see you as an wholesaler or retailer in your country.

2. Never disclose your true identity, your age, job and family life. Most of them ask these when you start negotiation or switch you to this after unsuccessful negotiation. Always tell them you are working for someone and you have a boss, so after every negotiation, let the seller know you gonna feed your boss back when he gets to office.

3. Take excuses (like 30 minutes or more) of supervising containers that just arrived from USA in your ware-house. (This is to get quality product and for the seller to think you are representing a big company.

4.For every goods on aliexpress, there's always lots from same seller. Click his store, get the lots, give the seller the link on trademanager, negotiate the price, after he had agreed, tell him you will talk to your boss. After some minutes come back and tell him your boss said you need samples 1st, so you are going to pay for a piece and when you see it and its tested okay you can now order for more lots. Sorry if its cheat but it works.

5. Most sellers uses china post you can toast them with $3 to ship through hongkong or singapore post and tell him you actually need this as a sample.

6. When a seller gives you price make sure you exclaimed, this shows his price his ridiculous. Tell him its sold for #200 in your country and its $1.2 when converting to dollars, depending on the goods.

7. When you are going to North, never go straight, tell the seller its the south. Meaning if you wanna buy blackberry bold 4, ask the seller for the price of blackberry bold 5. When he gives you price, exclaim and give him the price of bold 3, I am 97% he will refer you to bold 4 and give you the botton price of bold 4. Meant the last price he can sell the bold 4 you actually wanna buy.

The product doesn't have a CD-ROM or space for CD-ROM. The HDD is 500GB(470GB usable), The RAM is 4BG(3GB usable). It has Wi-fi and Webcam. It doesn't have Bluetooth(You can select the one with bluetooth by telling the seller when buying). I have not used it without being plugged in because we have light almost all the time so I can't really say how long the battery lasts.

I placed the order on Friday 8th of Nov,Aliexpress confirmed payment on saturday and seller shipped same saturday. I tracked it and after reaching lagos and getting custom clearance, it departed lagos and since then the tracking was not updated so I decided to go to the office to check. I went there and it was there already

Paid for Tablet Pc but I received a NOVEL, a CRAYON and a CD
I collected a package to today, turns out it was the wrong item. I got my refunds though because we had misunderstanding with the seller. He shipped to (Niger) Niger State and I thought it was Niger Republic because that was what I saw in the tracking details. I requested for refunds and seller returned the money without any hassle. Today I tried tracking the number and I saw its in Minna Niger State so I decided to go and collect with the intention of paying the seller back. I collected the package, there was a Tablet Pc carton but inside the carton is a Novel, a Crayon colour pack and a CD.
My question now is does that mean the seller shipped the wrong items intentionally? or did someone change or steal the package on transit? Has this happened to someone before? Please you response is highly appreciated

I had the same issue few hours ago. Turns out you have to wait for alert that your account has been debited for the token then login to your gt internet banking. Instead of the normal page it shows first, it will show you a page where you have to fill in your details and accept/acknowldge terms and condition for the token the click on next and just follow the steps and instructions. Mind you,you should copy the activation that is in blue colour because you'll need it to create your secure code

For those asking whether they can use "this card" or "that card", just try using it and see if its going to work or not. Atleast trying won't hurt.
And for those asking whether billing must be similar to shipping,it must not. Billing is the address attached to the card. If you are using amazon, you'll see shipping address separate. You can change the shipping address as many times as possible but your billing address must be the same as the address attached to the card

i pray u will not meet my fate, i purchased goods worth $40 from this seller, i choose china post as mode of shipment, the seller ships the goods using swiss post, i did not complain cos i want to explore that shipping method. In btw swiss post does not update their database frequently as china port. To cut the story short, swiss port will first dispatch your cargo to singapore(origin country) before they will ship to the destination coutry in my case 9igeria. At last, my goods was ship to brazil(wrong destination country) after almost 43 days of waiting.

However , i have a goods that is still stagnant in shanghai and beijing . Seller allegde the rate of inflow of goods to my country lately as the cause. Will do same to them when shipping date is 10 days to go.

The free shipping is only within the United States. Myus charges small amount to open account and get US address but when you ship item to your myus address, you have to pay them to ship the goods to Nigeria to you using DHL. DHL ships to everywhere in Nigeria so your item will get to you in your state. Also,if you leave an item with myus for too long, they charge you for overtime everyday and if you don't ship it out after a long period of time, they'll close your account keep the item.

First of all, Amazon DOES NOT ship to Nigeria. To ship from amzon,you have to get a US address for the amazon seller to ship to your US address then the company offering you the US address will ship it down to Nigeria for you. The one I have used is myus.com, they are reliable. Some guys offer this service here on NL but most of them only ship to Lagos. Lastly, china post only exist in China
