Pls. lets stop repeating Oga Onegent quote over and over, since it is wrong revealing private conversation repeating his quote over and over is like exposing the conversation the more. I think we can make our comments about it without his post.

Not only are they talking. Femi has come to accept that he needs Aliko to survive in the industry. One thing that is not yet clear is if Otedola will want to use Forte Oil for this deal or they may just form a new company and leverage on Forte Oil to make money for themselves. Just like Jim did with Visafone. I am tempted to start by Forte Oil for speculation but these guys have a mind of their own.
On the bolded, am thinking their planned arrangement could be, one of them Refine, the other of them Distribute.

At least I got one like for my post...shows someone is reasoning along my train of thought.
I am not against jokes, I just feel we are beginning to digress too much from relevant info on stock that will be of benefit to all...this is making our thread unnecessary long...
You dont have to agree with me...but this is my opinion, whether I am making sense or not! grin grin grin
Sir, while i agree with you on not to digress, today's posts/banter was particularly targeted at Oga Loco to uplift his morale (we could tell he was not ok when he became vulgar with somebody), that he was not alone in his struggle for patience. I believe many posts made from our Ogas today will help him learn more, and remain positive. But your post Sir on the other hand (forgive me if am wrong) sounded more or less like, do not waste my time go straight to the posts i can feed-off of today because i have had a busy day at work and i need updates on informations that will help me. #not cool.
Meanwhile Ogas here take out time from their own busy schedule to update us, use their air time data to make posts that is benefiting us all. Pls lets appreciate them. And Sir, be your brother's keeper when a brother is down, he had lost so many opportunities running into millions and this pattern need to stop by God's grace.

@onegentleguy, thank you so much Sir for your advice, i felt Oga was joking too hence my smiling emojis. And i will continue to learn to work with your listed advise to me.
Just so you know, you are one of the Ogas here i respect so much and follow, you give positive advise, suggest positive directions (even when some call you out on it, you still remain positive in your conviction, always). I have learnt a lot from you and others here, you all deserve medals for your selflessness and unselfish posts especially in this present day in our dear country where people are becoming more and more self centered. May God bless the day i stumbled upon this Forum.
#Remain blessed Sir.

And you call this person whose decision can be shaken as a man.
With all due respect Sir, we are all unique beings, just because somebody birth you does not mean we are not our individual self with different personality, your makeup determine who you are. Somebody may advise you about something (no matter who), your true self will still act different (hence we continue to work on our self through experiences). By the way Sir, just because you are a man does not mean you can not be emotional! Actually i think men have feminine side to them its just that our society thinks you are weak when you show it, and being tough makes you manly.

Sir, i have always admire you cos its like you try to shake things off easily, but then to me, i think each time we make excuses, or try to console ourselves on mistakes we have made, it gives room to us making another one again and again. It is obvious you regret your decision to sell, and it is ok to feel bad about it, and it is ok to feel pained and hurt too becos that way, we learn to be more cautious. For me i have been allowing myself to feel hurt and regrets, and it is helping me build my emotions, and in extension, my patience.
God is with you Sir.

You are wrong my guy. I visit this place more than my office yet I did not sell a single unit of my oando. I have received enough stones yet I keep buying diamonds. This forum has given me more info than I would ever have gotten without it, and to that extent I think the forum is a positive influence.
If loco sold, he did so for his own investment reasons cos right here, everyone is the master if his portfolio.
No Sir, i disagree with you (my opinion), this is because we are all different individuals hence our composition or makeupor how we were created is different, your emotional stand may be firm and resolute when you take decisions, somebody else whose emotional stand is fluid get shaken easy.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by hyness:
Sir, i agree with you 1000%. This happen as a result of emotional instability, the result is you get influenced by what people say or analyzed (which may be true, or NOT).
I remembered some few years back when i had just discovered SMN Forum, by then i just came to some money (my first job and was paid lump-sum) so i bought 98,000 units of Forte Oil (FO) @N42 or there about through FBN Securities (now FBNQuest), suddenly i watched FO went down in price so fast it later tanked @N7, SMN Forum members had no mercy for FO, or the management style of Mr Ot---la. Later at about 1 or 2 years or so later, the price started rising, SMN members still did not relent in their negative assertion about the stock, they went on and on that the rise in price maybe a mirage, once the price got to about @N50 i had to quickly sell becos of the negative vibe that was around the shares. It remained on that spot (N50) for a while . Then the magic started, i watched FO share price moved from that point up until it got to N300, all this happened within 8 months after i sold off if i am not mistaken. I watched helplessly, and cried so hard for days, weeks or even longer (it still hurt remembering it).
Emotions, like my Ogas here keep saying, is the koko of this trade. I keep failing at getting hold of my emotions, it is hard work, and patience, to a large part is tied to your state of emotion. Another one, people here in NSEMPA will remember when Oga CP sighted Caverton last year at around N1.40k, i checked it financials and i agreed with him and bought, then somebody here came and said vuuuuuuuuum on his leg the stock is going to car park, my emotion kicked in, i tried getting reassurance from the floor of the Forum and Oga BullBearMkt (pls post more often Sir) and Oga CP that all is well and to just relax, i could not, i sold off at a loss, now, that same stock had done 100% since then, and it is still being looked at as a gem that is yet to unfold. And so many other experiences i have had through this trade becos of not being in control of my emotion.
See my brother, emotion is the key here, that is why i agree with you 1000%. Get updates here in NSEMPA, but at the end, should be in control of yourself, and as the saying goes, "Plan ur trade and trade ur plan" according to BullBearMkt.
Sorry for the long story, just my experience in this journey so far referencing Oga Loco impatience, it is HARD, especially if you are an emotional being. AM JUST SAYING.
My regards and shout-out to all the Ogas here, you are specially appreciated cos i have learnt alot about myself, and the Forum is teaching me patience which is very vital in life.

Dont buy CI leasing. They are about to do a share reconstruction that will see to the reduction of shares (4 to 1) which will be replaced by shares issued to abraaj in place of the convertible unsecured loan. They are highly indebted and looking for funds everywhere.

Fidility Bank will be an excellent buy.
Please Sir do not post this type of information with certainty "Don't buy CI Leasing", because you did not add link to such unverified information.
And such important plan or information concerning a quoted company that is not on NSE site should not be passed-on with certainty the way you did, it can create panic. And they are not "highly indebted" as you said (wrong information), they are looking for funds to expand their business, and their debt to Abraaj is "loan stock" convertible, that is if they decide to take that route (which will be dilution according to Oga Agba), but their GMD plan to redeem part of the loan from fund sourced from business activities and Contracts.
Note: Pls know that hints on current happenings in quoted companies are appreciated but if not verified it should not come off with certainty. Thank you Sir.

News is one of the dangerous weapons of stock market.
News can lead a stock to full bid,News can also lead a stock to full offer.
When i saw this cileasing reconstruction issues here,i quickly called a broker to confirm,he told me its already in the public domain.
If it is actually true,SEC and NSE should be prosecuted for covering evil.

My advice is SELL your stock @ 20% profit if you are not sure of what you bought.
I will be 18-20% profit in CADBURY by next week by Gods grace, you know what?
I will pull my trigger because of uncertainties in the market.
Thank you Sir. By this information people may start dumping by Monday (and nobody knows how true), and i will be at lose cos i just bought yesterday Friday.

Please Sir, do not cause unnecessary panic. Why do you even have to mention Caverton, when the poster mentioned another company (information that is yet to be verified), because if you have your money in Caverton, I do not think you would want to do what you just did.
Most times people panic and take decisions on information they hear (sometimes with no prove), and this can cause panic in the floor of the market.
On this platform many people posted informations on the Financial Standing, Operational activities, and even the Shareholding structure of Caverton Plc just to guide the informed decisions of many people benefiting from this blessed forum, and all what was posted about the Company were all positives with lots of potentials for the Company even. Why drag it down?

Please our Ogas in the house, help Newbies like some of us, prevent people from posting information with no backup to create unnecessary panic cos some of us bought into C&I just yesterday. C&I leasing proposed for shares reconstruction in 2014, that was then, now in 2017 things are different.
They are interested in raising $100m (the means to raise the fund is explained in the attached link below, please read), they intend using the Fund according to their GMD, in part, to expand their business, and also plan to do a combination of redemption and conversion of $12.4 million loan stock from Abraaj.
If there is a planned Shares Reconstruction by December according to information being posted here, why is such crucial plan and information not updated in their website, and why is NSE not notified because i can not find it!

CelebritiesRe: Daddy Freeze: Your Blessing Isn't Connected To Your Tithe Or Offering, It's FREE by hyness: 12:30am On Oct 06, 2017
We should not tithe because tithing in the New Testament is not the standard for giving.

Many churches promote a concept called “storehouse” tithing, based on Malachi 3:10, where God tells Israel to “bring the whole tithe into the storehouse.” They teach that the local church is the storehouse, the tithe belongs to God, and His blessing is conditioned upon faithfulness in tithing. This is pure lie. Blessings from God is absolutely free and an unmerited favor based on Christ sacrifice, it is not tied to any tithing.

Tithing concept was a part of the law of Moses; believers are not under that law anymore with the coming of Christ.
Romans, Galatians, and other New Testament passages make it clear that Christians are not under the law of Moses, we are under the law of Christ (1 Cor. 9:20-21; James 1:25; 2:8, 12; Rom. 13:8-10). Jesus Christ never gave nor took tithe, and he never spoke about it. The New
Testament did not give guidelines on tithing.

Generous grace giving is the New Testament standard. Our God is a generous and giving God for He so loved the world that He gave the most precious gift, His only begotten Son our Lord Jesus Christ for free so that we can be saved.

Give generously to the poor, the needy and the have not, "not to Pastors", so that God will favor and bless you. Stop giving your hard earned money to Pastors for their new Air planes, exotic cars, and to give their children the best life overseas.
