Fayose except for partisan politics will always support Tinubu, he's always secretly rooting for him, just like Fayemi and Osinbanjo are working underground for the emergence of the Jagaban of Borgu.
Some people still needs to learn a great deal. |

Nchenches: Tinubu knows it's not the turn of the SW to produce president for Nigeria.
So by ignoring zoning for the southern regions nut asks north to adhere to zoning to enable south produce a successor to President Buhari, Tinubu sinned against the rest of the south. North is likely to also refuse zoning by following Tinubu's example. If the north refusing zoning makes you happy, it's all good but Tinubu is ready to pursue his ambitions. Something no one from your southern part of the country can do yet. |

Tinubu, an old man who is trying all his best to fulfill his ambitions without been afraid of failure.
And you, a young man who don't even know how to pursue his own ambitions or better still a "no future ambition" personality.

Nebuchadnezzarr: Dead on arrival. No matter the list, no matter how united they have become just to get hold on power and wreck more havoc they started since 2015, they will not succeed. Tinubu will never be president. Never.
Enough of this suffering in the midst of plenty. We must take our destiny in our own hands.
All those drumming support for Tinubu should know that we saw more than this in 1992/93 during Abiola time, he will never be president. Know this and know peace.
Power must return back to the people. If BAT wins the election, you should declare the election canceled like that of Abiola now. No go learn how to sell your candidate, be there playing 9ja bet on whether BAT will be president or not, it will surprise you. |

emperor863: Exactly. The Ipobs have slaved for the PDP for 23 solid years. They should be assumed to the human. However, they have the south west to contend with for the exalted position.
That means; mission impossible. At least make dem get the chance to contest first, so that, should they lose, they will know it's not anybody's fault but themselves as they couldn't get other regions convinced to vote for them. |
Politics › Re: Saraki: When I Become President, All My Ministers Of State Will Be Under 35 by IamNat: 7:47am On Mar 23, 2022 |
Well, you should wait for zoning to favour the north, in all fairness, PDP should give their ticket to someone from the southeast. |
Politics › Re: APC Convention: March 26 Sacrosanct As Invitations Are Sent Out by IamNat: 7:24am On Mar 23, 2022 |
There's no party without it's own problem, all APC needed for everything to fall into place now is just to complete this convention. Fortunately, the court as started sacking politicians in power who cross carpet, so, regardless of what the outcome of the convention is, you will think well before you will decide to leave the party.
Tinubu has made it clear he is ready to work with anyone who becomes the chairman, which is why he has just continue his consultations and not be bothered about who becomes the chairman. He believes that the worst that can happen is for him to contest the primary and lose and he's ready to take that chance. |

OBJ and Ekwueme remained friends because Alex was a gentleman who OBJ believes want what is best for the country but I don't agree that Alex Ekwueme ever stepped down for OBJ, if you say the northern military elite influenced things for Obasanjo, I will agree, but no one stepped down for the other. Politics › Re: Zoning Vs Winning The Election: South-South Cannot Win Presidency - Tambuwal by IamNat: 1:50pm On Mar 22, 2022 |
Kingozymandias: It's not the turn of the Southsouth, it's the turn of the southeast. The silence of the Southeast should worry everyone .. rightfully it's our turn to elad this great nation.. we are not more bedeviled with problems than any other tribe yet we are being denied our rightful shot at the fixing this nation . Some people have asked me have we fixed the southeast ? I laugh because other regions have ruled yet they are still battling myriad problems so why are my people being denied our turn?
Salty suddenly zoning that has been used by every region to secure the slot has been jettisoned now it's the turn of my people and it Futher makes us feel disenfranchised and and marginalized.
Then tomorrow you turn around and wonder why sesssionists had such a willing ear in the people to listen?
You can't deny a people their rights and make them feel less and expect them to willingly want to stay in Nigeria .. that is wrong and tantamount to bullying.
Who in his or her right conscience can say it's not the turn of the Igbos ? Please who can in good honest faith say this ?
Why push a people so hard to the point just telling yourself they can do nothing ? Really ? A nation can never be built by brute force but by inter Corporations and unity. Let me tell you my fellow NIGERIANS , IPOB didn't have up to 10% of the Igbo people support forget those iliterate touts and their social media propaganda. But to deny my people our right this time around for whatever reason is telling the remaining 90% of us who rejected ipob that maybe just maybe those touts have a point.
Yes power isn't given ,yes I agree but as ever other region had it zoned to them and a consensus picked so should it be done for the Southeast. To deny us our right is to do what Chinese is doing to Taiwan, to do what Israel doing to Palestine, to do what ImUAE is doing to shites..
Forget whatever we tell ourselves, each and every one of you my fellow country men and women know it's the turn of my people. I would have taught the great Asiwaju a defender of justice would have picked an Igbo man as his chosen candidate, that would have sent the message that he recodnizes that's it's rightfully our turn and that he stands for justice.
Anyways it's his right to run for office but like I said, to deny us is going to send a very strong message to every single Igbo man, woman ,boy and girl child that we are not recodnized and wanted in this country and I am afraid that would have a very dire repercussions in inter ethnic relations . I don't think buhari is in support of it not being an Igbo person infact I am shocked to admit from his a tions one can deduce he feels rightly it should be an Igbo person..
Alas time will tell At the bolded is what I think is the issue and the main reason why the southeast might not get the presidency anytime soon. Your people have not come to the understanding of the fact that not ever will any region step down for another region to have the floor. You can go back and look at the history since 1999, even when presidency is zoned to a certain region, other candidates from other region still contested against them. It is the alliance that the region favoured by zoning had with other regions that got them presidency not because it was zoned to their region. You can't just expect that no one else will contest against the southeast because the southeast is favoured by zoning, rather, the southeast should form alliances with other regions and not abuse them or call them slaves. When Tinubu formed an alliance with Buhari in 2015, the Yorubas were constantly been abused and called slaves of the Fulanis, this went on for more than 7yrs now and now when it's time to reap the fruit of their labour (forming the alliance and been abused for several years) you expect them to stay back and watch you clinch the president without any fight? How many Igbo as boldly come out to say they want to be president and have started working for it? The southwest you keep on seeing pdp and apc winning elections in different states, they don't put all their eggs in one basket, do you expect APC that doesn't have any form of support to in the southeast to just give their party's presidential ticket out to a southeasterner? Where will such a person get the votes from, or the Yorubas that have been abused for the past 8yrs for forming an alliance with the north should now be the one to vote for the southeasterner? It doesn't work like that. If only the Igbos stop hating the Yorubas for what-have-them reasons and let's work together, we(Southeast and southwest) can continually produce more presidents than the north. |
