RomanceRe: Toasting Lines (give Urs) by IBDat(m): 12:01pm On Apr 14, 2007
Omo so far only 2 guys have made sense and said it as it SHOULD be - u play it by air, in the moment, confidence, humorous, flirtatious and use yo surroundings as well as any compliments u can throw her way can work wonders for u.

Now 4 lines that will definitely get u a smile/positive response here's a few:
- U're at a social event/public setting and she walks by/next2 u (within earshot) - Damn! n i thought i was good looking!
- U're at a social event/public/church setting and u've both caught eachother's eye from a distance - My friend wants to know if you think I’m cute.
- U're at a social event/public/church setting n u keep looking at her, she notices, turns away n whenever she looks bk, u're still there admirng her (not staring!), then u walk over n say - Could you do me a favor and tell your boyfriend he’s a lucky man?

Now how u play it from there is up2 u!

Yes it does work out, better than most actually. At least during friendship they would have gotten to know all your habits, attitude, moods - the true u (n vice versa), the only thing you have to work on is sleeping and living together.

Example:
Dear Sir:

I have been requested by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company to contact you for assistance in resolving a matter. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company has recently concluded a large number of contracts for oil exploration in the sub-Sahara region. The contracts have immediately produced moneys equaling US$40,000,000. The Nigerian National Petroleum Company is desirous of oil exploration in other parts of the world, however, because of certain regulations of the Nigerian Government, it is unable to move these funds to another region.

You assistance is requested as a non-Nigerian citizen to assist the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, and also the Central Bank of Nigeria, in moving these funds out of Nigeria. If the funds can be transferred to your name, in your United States account, then you can forward the funds as directed by the Nigerian National Petroleum Company. In exchange for your accommodating services, the Nigerian National Petroleum Company would agree to allow you to retain 10%, or US$4 million of this amount.
However, to be a legitimate transferee of these moneys according to Nigerian law, you must presently be a depositor of at least US$200,000 in a Nigerian bank which is regulated by the Central Bank of Nigeria.

If it will be possible for you to assist us, we would be most grateful. We suggest that you meet with us in person in Lagos, and that during your visit I introduce you to the representatives of the Nigerian National Petroleum Company, as well as with certain officials of the Central Bank of Nigeria.
Please call me at your earliest convenience at 18-467-4975. Time is of the essence in this matter; very quickly the Nigerian Government will realize that the Central Bank is maintaining this amount on deposit, and attempt to levy certain depository taxes on it.

Yours truly,

Prince Howgul Abul Arhu

If u lost that kind of money, you no go mak noise?

@Debosky n 4Play - both of una de crazeeeeee

@monshege - yes we do need to focus on the main issue, but at the same time we need to tackle the problem from the roots. If you take on the big timers you send a message to the up n comings, n at the same time the media interest not only dwindles but can be spurn as a positive. N those big timers are?

PoliticsRe: Nigeria's Image Was Badly Damaged On Oprah Today! by IBDat(m): 11:24pm On Apr 13, 2007
The fact remains that YES Nigerians in general are fraudsters, but Igbos do theirs on a more grandure scale such as the hundreds of thousands, millions, kidnappings and murder - these are the stories that capture the media interests and in essence paint Nigerians in a bad image abroad and even within Africa.
