cococandy: He’s mad but this is one of the few times he’s actually made sense. Only a VERY VERY gullible person would believe DJT isn’t in the Epstein files.
It has to take someone being radically committed to falsehood to evaluate Trump’s comments about how sexy he thinks his daughter is, assess his comments about walking in on teenage girls in his pageant as they got dressed, commenting about a prepubescent child in an inappropriate manner and still believe he’s a sexually upright guy. It actually doesn't matter if he's in the file, as is everyone else. Epstein was a socialite just like Diddy and cavorted with all of them, even though Trump was particularly close. Unless a girl comes and says such and such assaulted me like Guiffre did against Price Andrew, it's all hearsay and gossip. It is not a sin to party with Epstein or Diddy unless you specifically request underaged while doing so, or were aware that he peddled underaged. What this calls into question is Elons judgement to lose guard like that |

bemeruca: Ibime hates Elon and Trump so much he does not realize what's going on. I doubt you know what is being discussed. Stick to Comproboko talks Like I said during that whole insincere DOGE political fiasco below: Ibime: The DOGE thing is just political opportunism and sensationalism to make political capital out of the norms of US spending for decades. Most of it is sensationalism to win voters just like Elon shouting about 130 year old people on National database
To make you think Democrats are stealing money and win your vote eternally
At the end of the year, we would just judge the growth or decline in deficit, National spending and Social Security spending to judge the truth or otherwise of the matter
Men lie, women lie, numbers dont They don't even want me to reach end of the year to draw conclusion. Something anyone with 2 braincells could see from a mile off.

afrodoc2: Strokes are worse than TIAs. By definition TIA only lasts a few minutes to a few hours before there is resolution and full recovery. Those ones that patients recover after a couple of weeks are not technically TIAs but strokes.
The recovery is extremely variable.
The recovery depends on 1) the part of the brain affected and what functions it is responsible for 2) the size of that part affected 3) the amount of time that lapsed before treatment. 4) the intensity and quality of treatment and rehab provided 5) any co-existing illnesses that might worsen the situation
Basal ganglia strokes can be serious because that area is responsible for cognition, executive function, personality, speech co-ordination. For its size it has a lot of function.
Ischemic strokes are however generally not as bad as hemorrhagic strokes.
From that report it appears he had multiple blockages in different areas of the brain at the same time. It might be useful to carry out an ECG or Echo (if not already done) to make sure he does not have atrial fibrillation or a blood clot in his heart which is dispersing fragments into the brain.
You guys should get him to see a specialist neurologist ASAP who can co-ordinate his care. One thing is starting the measures that will aid him on the road to recovery. Things like speech therapy, occupational therapy etc. The other crucial thing is to urgently address his possible risk factors (Hypertension, Dyslipidemia, Diabetes Mellitus, Cardiac arrhythmia) and prevent another more catastrophic stroke because he is right now very vulnerable to another one. Thanks Boss |

I hope he makes a good recovery.
P.S
Was he hypertensive? What are chances of recovery of decent memory from this type of ischemic stroke. Is it like your normal TIA where patients recover after a couple weeks? White matter lesions are noted consistent with chronic small vessel ischemia. Multiple small foci of restricted diffusion within the left hemisphere predominantly within the occiptal lobe with one in the basal ganglia region. Appearance consistent with multifocal acute infarction without haemorrhage |

afrodoc2: It depends on what caused it.
1) If it is due to a cerebrovascular accident (stroke), which is most likely, then usually the best that can be hoped for is mild to moderate improvement. There is a saying we had when i worked in emergency medicine, "time is brain", which means every minute that passes without treatment during a stroke, results in loss of brain cells which could be irreversible.
The more severe the initial hypoxic damage and the longer the period of the insult, the greater the likelihood of irreversible damage. There is still a possibility of a slight improvement but one can't bank on that. Most of the focus of future treatment is addressing the risk factors for the stroke in the first place and preventing future strokes.
2) If it is due to other causes like infections, electrolyte imbalances, medications, then those can be corrected with greater possibility of full recovery. Thanks Boss. CT and XRay have come back clear. We are just waiting on Carotid artery MRI and Vitamin B12 test to know how far. Hoping it's Vitamin B12 deficiency so there will be hope of recovery. Na my Pale, the nigga was complaining of massive headache on Friday claiming some blood is trying to force it's way through some ventricles in his brain, by Saturday he's lost half his memory and calling us to come and witness his will and last wishes that he is going, so we admitted him to hospital. Person name himself after player dey yarn opata as if he is unbiased
Enzo is rubbish and a millstone on our neck
Remove Enzo from our midfield 2 and we immediately improve 20%
Since he has shown some ability to arrive in the box recently, at best we can accommodate him as AM and put two proper midfielders behind him. That's the only way we will ever see any improvement as a club. As long as Enzo stays in our midfield 2, we will remain uncompetitive
Let me even shock you, Caicedo has 50% more to give as a CM and freeing Caicedo to play CM instantly makes us a better team
Lavia is a better DM than Caicedo and Caicedo is a 100 times better CM than Enzo. Caicedo in CM with a good DM behind him instantly turns our midfield into a beast from the expressway it currently is
Enzo has nothing to offer as a CM, he offers neither control, energy nor defensive solidity, only gaps, failed presses and brittleness |

Anyone who thinks Bastoni will improve Chelsea by even 3% with a midfield expressway needs a serious konk on the head. The same Bastoni that just chopped five against PSG after his midfield got overwhelmed
I will keep repeating it, centreback is the easiest position to play in football. Every single one of our centrebacks is serviceable. You can even win league with Badiashile and Disasi as long as the midfield is in control, talkless of Colwill, Fofana, Jesus boy and Tosin. Our CB is already stacked. We have won league and UCL with David fking Luiz and Gary fking Cahill. There is no centreback in world football who won't crumble when facing repeated one v ones. Nobody is superman. Even Maldini and Nesta the so called GOATs crumbled horribly from 3-0 up against Liverpool and from 4-1 up against Deportivo
Our most important piece of business this summer is removing Enzo from our midfield, otherwise if you like spend £1 billion on defenders, you labour in vain |

AirBere: Yep, I'm aware of all the statistics and all. It's something I've analysed multiple times with colleagues. Lefties are quite rare, I know.
I was looking at a situation where there are actually two lefties in a team and how much they played together. I think we had Colwil, Badashile and Veiga together at a time and they didn't play much together. Barca had Lengtlet and Umtiti together yet they played together once or twice. Spain had Pau and Laporte but when they played together it was calamitous. so bad that forkin Eric Garcia was brought in to start.
Lefties are rare, I'm aware. In my school days there was only one left footed player in our entire team and he was a right winger. Our left back was actually right footed. The chance of having two left footers who are good is very low. Let's say only 10% of centrebacks are World Class. If that applies to left footers and right footers evenly, that means the chance of having a world class left footed centreback is 10% of 8% (only 0.8%). On top of that you have to find two of them, so the chance of both being World Class is even lower. I don't rate Pau Torres nor Lenglet, and by the time Lenglet joined Barca, Umtiti was already washed. A development factor is another reason. Because of the scarcity of left footers, they are always used at LCB, and never get to learn the RCB position from youth. Whereas right footers often learn the LCB position because there is often no left footer to play there |
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 11:30pm On Jun 03, 2025 |
AirBere: I can't remember a WorldCup/EPL/UCL winning team with two left footed first choice CB pairing and I can't tell the reason for that. But two right footed CBs have successfully won all of these.
I know we're talking about CB pairing but I've seen RBs playing as LBs and doing exceptionally well...recent memory; Lahm, Azpi, Aina, Spence, Alves, etc but may be they exist and I didn't pay attention but I've never seen a LB doing well at a RB for an extended period. In fact, I've not seen at all. It can happen but I can't imagine Evra or Cole as RBs
I remember a game where Enrique played Pau Torres and Laporte, two lefties and they were clattering into each other and even gave away a goal in the process. In the upcoming fixtures, Enrique had to go with Eric Garcia and Laporte, dropping Pau in the process.
Barca also had Umtiti and Lenglet (two lefties)for one game like that, I think they lost that game 2:0 or so. I'll look for the screenshot of that game if I can find it.
Its not forbidden and could happen but it's a very rare scenario. I just don't see Colwil and Veiga playing 38 games together or Colwil and Batsoni. I don't know but let's see how it goes. That's because only 8% of people are left footed (including my humble self) So statistically the chance of having two left footed centrebacks playing together is 0.64% (8% x 8%) while the chance of having two right footers is 84.64% (92% x 92%) while the chance of having a combination of both is 14.72% (8% x 92% x 2). Add these 3 numbers together and you get 100%, it's simple Mathematics. That's why you can't remember two left footers playing CB successfully because the statistical probability of them even playing together is less than 1% not because of anything you've witnessed. Think about it, Badiashile was our first left footed centreback since Frank Sinclair in 1997, a 25 year gap - Edit - I forgot Malang Sarr and Djilobodji but they hardly played. |
