Hahahaha. Gerrard is a clown. That's the fastest red card I've ever seen. |
Hahahaha. Gerrard sent off in 32 seconds. He came on playing risky Hollywood passes, losing the ball and thinking Roy of the Rovers tackles will make him stand out. Rightly sent off. |
FBS:He's playing wing-back same as Alberto Moreno. What do you expect from him. Both wing-backs are spending all their time defending cos Manure are dominating midfield |
Man Utd have completely clamped the midfield with bodies. Liverpool midfield can't get on the ball |
Dey there dey tell us say you repent, but has your sexual preference changed? There's a difference between abstinence and deliverance. If you put a nàked woman before OP, will he find her exciting? Na thís kain bros go go marry woman for church and ruin her life because deep down he is not attracted to her. |
raumdeuter:Na CIMA I do. . . which is superior to ACCA IMHO. |
AirborneLacer:^^^ It's not a perspective. It's a standard accounting treatment under IAS38 - Amortisation of intangible assets. . . in other words, depreciation over the lifetime of intangible assets. Whilst depreciation applies to tangible assets şuch as Property, Plant and Equipment, amortisation applies to intangibles like Goodwill, intellectual property, brand value etc. Players contracts are intangible assets because they arise from contractual or legal rights. If Hazard cost £20m and signs a 4 year deal, you credit the balance sheet £20m initially, then debit £5m to the Income Statement yearly for 4 years whilst crediting (reducing) the asset account by the same value. The yearly cost is therefore £5m plus his yearly salary. After 3 years, his Balance Sheet value drops to £5m. If you sell him for £50m at the start of the 4th season, you recognise £45m as Income to the P&L as this is the difference between his book value and the consideration received. The reason his book value or carrying value was not remeasured yearly to reflect his transfer value is because contractual obligations have a useful life which ends the moment his contract expires and because his Fair value cannot be determined by an active market - the main stipulations being homogeneous products and prices available to the public. So next time the fans sing "There's only one Eden Hazard", that's one of the reasons why his value is not remeasured yearly - because footballers are not homogeneous products! |
78 points with JT left to play. . . . overhammering |
Is he doing well in life? Is he achieving his goals? If so, allow him to continue what he enjoys doing in his leisure time. I don't see why the world must end. |
naijaguy77:Will you stop exposing your ignorance and read your history, mumu. The oil Rivers has been known since the 1700s and refers to the Palm Oil trade which constituted 90% of British interest in Nigeria, most of which was done with the Niger Delta. Companies like Royal Niger Company were formed for the purpose in the 1800s Your great grandfather was the one living in the bush covering his blockos with palm leaves whilst our grandfathers were conducting international trade and sending their children to school. Ewu! Eediot!!! |
Harry Kane has caught Diego Costa on 18 goals at the top of the goalscorers chart. That fella has to win Player of the Season. |
I dey hammer all over the pitch! |
Me and my dawgs riding snow like an Eskimo. Taxi for Snow squad!!! |
Blackchampion:Son of a thief and election rigger! I always get píssed off when Nigerian blogs post pictures of children of thieves and murderers, and foolish Nigerians start hailing the pics. In self respecting countries they will be throwing shoes and spitting on the thread. |
Bonapart:Actually that was a violent time with several wars between Okrika, Kalabari, Bonny etc. Not to mention the Arochukwu raiding people willynilly and bringing them to the coast to sell. Just 9 years before thís picture was taken, Jaja of Opobo had committed a grand scale genocide of the Ibeno people. @ OP, I'll be interested to find out in which Kingdom this picture was taken. One of my forebears may be among them. |
nateevs:Well said. We're on the same page. James McCarthy is a good player. I doubt he'll be cheap though. If Everton signed him for 12.5m, they will want at least 22m. |
Top 3 best matches of all time: Macho man vs Ricky the Dragon Steamboat (Greatest technical match of all time) Razor Ramon vs Shawn Michaels ladder match Mr Perfect vs Brett Hitman Hart Best Royal Rumble: 1990 which was won by Hulk Hogan eliminating Mr Perfect but made famous by Ted Di Biase lasting 45 minutes from the start to the very end. |
Sile12:I attended thís match. Wembley 1992. |
Thunder fire you Sile12!!! So you list all these wrestlers, but left out the greatest of all time. MACHO MAN RANDY SAVAGE!!!! |
shegsky:Are you sure you know how-to read and comprehend? If 1 Naira = 0.05 Dirhams, then how many Naira can 1 dirham buy? The education system in Nigeria these days is appalling going by the level of ignorance I see on NL on a daily basis. |
AirborneLacer:Hehehehe. Make e dey there dey put faith in Ramires. Fly wey follow dead body enter grave, them go bury am join. Thank God say he no mention Mikel sha. Mikel should read the signs and plan accordingly. Even Ruben is being mentioned over him. Methinks we will still try for Koke. |
Atletico will beat Real. . . I can't see Real taking victory over 2 legs. PSG vs Barca could go either way but slightly in favour of Barca. Juve and Bayern will go through. |
Bayern and Juve done hammer. |
AirborneLacer:Kondogbia is a no go as he is left-footed and would be veering to the left side of the pitch where Matic stays. I'm looking for a right-footed ninja. Witsel is a great shout for Matics partner as I've been calling for for some time. Hopefully he should only have 2 years on his contract so might come at a decent price as well. Clasie is better in terms of controlling possession better than Witsel though, and also tigerish in pressing but not as physical as Witsel. Clasie is ready for any big club right now, at a very good price as well. Kovacic from what I've seen combines artistry with good running and pace. I don't know what is happening in Serie A this season though. Another good shout is Ruben Loftus-Cheek. That could save a lot of cash. Think about it, he is Pogba at Man Utd. A 6ft 4 ninja with the physicality, pace and technique that theoretically should do well if someone is brave enough to give him a shot. The conclusion of all these matters is that our current CM and AM provision is insufficient as it has been since the day Ballack walked out the club. And Oscar, Ramires and Mikel are the weak links to get shipped if the club addresses these needs. |
bigkesh:I've not really seen Juve thís season, but ninjas say the same about Juve every season yet they fail to penetrate the latter stages. Remember they barely made it out their group, they were fighting to qualify with Galatasaray of all people. So if you ask me, a declining Dortmund made them look good. I will not draw judgement till I see them face a top team. |
bigkesh:First of all, I think Kovacics natural position will settle as a CM or DM. He plays all 3 positions in central midfield so I was thinking of him in the pivot, with a ninja like Jordy Clasie vying with him to partner Matic. Second of all, Oscar never declined. Hes always been crap. Last season he disappeared from January to season end . . . . and in his first season, he wasn't much use after Christmas either. Oscars routine is to grab a couple goals here and there at the start of the season when we are hammering teams 4-0. He's just a beneficiary of the early season largesse when Chelsea hammer most teams. As soon as the year turns and games are tighter when there is onus on the CAM to produce something for the team, Oscar disappears. Every season, 3 years in a row. In terms of attacking contribution, he is a passenger who relies on the team to play well to buffer his stats. His general passing game was as shýte in August as it is now, the only difference being that in August his goal and assists stats was benefitted by the team scoring lots of goals, and now the team is not dashing out awoof goals, you notice his awful passing a lot more. |
Mateo Kovacic could be available this summer. Now that's a player I will crawl to Italy to go sign. http://metro.co.uk/2015/03/18/arsenal-clear-to-seal-mateo-kovacic-transfer-inter-milan-will-sell-5108592/ |
Bamford has got something about him. Can he do a Harry Kane? Harry Kane was only slightly impressive at Milwall last year but he had something about his touch and composure. I see some similarities in Bamford. |
coded01:Ogbeni correct your English first cos we no understand wetin you dey yarn. Wetin you mean by "2nd time running in 3 seasons"? That Ingrish sound correct for your eye? |
