Luis though only started learning to defend under Simeone. I've never known him as being defensively solid till the last 2 years. I would have been more than happy with Bertrand. I never ever had a problem with Bertrand. He wasn't great attacking wise but I was always satisfied with his defensive performance.

No be matter of attacking runs. Since Diego Simeone told Arda Turan that Ivanovic is our weak point in the 4-1 defeat to Atletico, we've known that Ivanovic is susceptible to agile wingers who cut inside.

you had 8 points on city at a point. you had 16 points on united at a point. this festive period has exposed chelsea's frailties. sell willian & oscar.......push cesc in the hole, partner matic with strootman & replace willian with gervinho.

That's exactly what we are all calling for, even Oscar fans like Airborne Lacers. Bench Oscar, push Fab4 in the hole and buy another central midfielder to partner Matic. This is the fundamental need of Chelsea. Forget all those other yarns.

On the other hand, I hope this result will give other teams confidence to attack us rather than parking the bus. Might be beneficial in the long run and open up more spaces for us to score.

We have 18 games left, only 8 of which are away from home. I'm still confident we can win the league, I just wish Jose would buy another central midfielder.
