By law of probability, assuming all semifinalists are equal, we should have reached 8 finals which we have, thus we win our semis 50% of the time.

Where we are underperforming is in finals where we have reached 8 and only won 3 instead of 4 if we performed to averages. You can blame Cameroon for most of our defeats, especially Roger Milla.

We have only won finals as host and against Zambia and Burkinafaso lending credence to the chokers tag
