As for Onyedika, from what I’ve seen, he can only thrive in matches where our opponents are either parking the bus or playing counter-attacking football. He cannot thrive in a game where the opponents press high up the pitch and/or engage in mid-pressing.

Unfortunately Onyedika fans through selective video edits made me believe he can survive a furious press but I concur with your assessment. Also agree on Ndidi having one more year

This game should have shown everyone that Chelsea is going nowhere with Enzo Fernandez in midfield. He is the biggest problem in Chelsea and a cancer to the club. You always focus on your big problems first. Any other talk is sweeping the floor while the roof is burning.

Chelsea level can improve 1000% just by simply pushing Caicedo into CM and getting a solid DM to sit behind him. We will go up levels.

Similar to what has happened in Arsenal with Rice. You don't waste the energy of players like Caicedo and Rice on the positional play of DM. You use them to reject any space further up the pitch and drive the opposition back. The runner in the team should never be the sitting DM.
