Awoniyi has been beset by a non muscular injury which limited his minutes in the last season, and the season before he was understandably backup to the prolific Chris Wood. Yet goals scored per minute played and in the last 2 seasons before that, he was a better finisher than Welbeck. Most importantly teams and defenders always shake when Awoniyi enters as substitute, it's like a stronger version of Daniel Amokachi hunting them down.
