Officially work hours is between 8.am to 5pm Monday to Fridays. But with COVID-19 and the whole remote working stuff, people now do hybrid. The disadvantage is when u work offsite, there's no opening hours or closing hours.
At least it beats sitting in Lagos traffic for hours

Role does not influence pay in banks. Grade does. You're either a BA, ABO, BO, SBO, e.t.c

Irrespective of the role, all staff on the same grade are paid the same amount with very minor differences depending on step and location.
I see, so this na BO grade

What does SBO stand for

And how many hours these guys dey work

I honestly don’t know the salary scale of Polaris bank , but certainly this role will attract nothing less than 300k net per month .

Although they can underpay the candidate if they discover he was working in a small sized firm where he was earning like 170k doing same job . It also depends on the designation they want to give the person like Assistant Banking Officer ( which will most likely be what he will get ).

Your best bet is to inquire from someone who actually works in Polaris who knows exactly their salary for that level
Ok, thanks. We no sabi anybody for Polaris but are planning to ask for 500-600k. Is that a stretch? Bros is already on close to 300k net.

Yeah. Areva suspended their operations because Niger wanted a better deal. They felt cheated, exploited .

A former employee of Areva said that Areva and Niger deal only generate 5 percent of Niger budget a year. The relationship is unbalanced relationship gaskiya.

Nope, I am not in support of Russia or China instead.
Areva does not suspend operations

Niger owns the licence and the licence expired. If Niger does not grant new licence, they have no rights to mine, so they stopped mining. After 2 years, they now renewed the licence for a further 5 years

That is how commercial contracts run, not some Wagner or ISIS niggas holding gun and mining regardless

You paid Niger 13 percent of of exported value. Just 13! Is that not exploitation?

If you actually think France is not exploiting Niger, fine.
Niger owns 35% of those companies so are they exploiting themselves?

They gave tax breaks for exploring and constructing the mines, or you think sunk capital cost should not be recovered? Or you think companies explore for free then give you all the proceeds? Then they held the companies blockos for two years in order to renew the license for another 5 years, so they are the ones calling the shots

They should try the ISIS or Wagner or Zamfara Chinese approach where niggas will be mining for free and dare you to do anything about it

Algeria, Morocco and Tunisia left the Cfa currency decades ago and they are doing very fine.
No different from Nigeria leaving pounds and shillings after Independence, we see how that's going. Every man is responsible for his own success or lack thereof

Mali left French Franc and came back decades later after tasting the other side, Equatorial Guinea and Bissau who were never French colonies opted to join decades later

They should leave now and see what happens while under occupation by ISIS and Boko

They are the ones begging, France is already tired of carrying them and has voted to cut them loose.

Whether beneficial or otherwise, the nitty gritty is they are at liberty to do so...

Wetin concern Nigeria with Niger's decisionhuhhuh??

🤗🤗
They should do what they want, France is only carrying out their historic responsibility

Whether they choose ISIS or Russia, it's their business. It's not like France buys their products below market price, meanwhile Russia or ISIS will just control their mines and cart away their resources for free

In the true spirit, France should kick them out of CFA, let them manage their own currency that France has kept stable for over 30 years, let's see whether they can handle their currency being devalued 1000% as it should be. Let every mallam bear him Papa name.

God bless you sir! They are quick to blame the west because they lack the balls to call out the main culprits, especially if they are Arab superpowers.

Ask the same people who dump on the West where they want to japa to, their 1st, 2nd and 3rd choices will be the West.
When African leaders do bad things, they will pull up their main bogeyman as usual. They would claim France is after their Uranium as if France relies on it and is buying their Uranium below market price. As it is France buys only 18% of their Uranium from Niger and can source elsewhere at the same market price. All that will happen is Niger will sell elsewhere and the country that buys from Niger will leave a demand gap elsewhere that France will fill

The way they are talking, you would think the value of nuclear power is in the Uranium and not in the building and setup of the power plant which takes decades and the highest cost being the capital cost and expertise to build and run them. 1 kg of Uranium can produce 1,000 MW over 24 hours and is a negligible expense in the production of power. But let Niger tell it and France will be reduced to the level of Togo without their Uranium. If you quintuple the price of Uranium sef, French consumers will not even notice because it is a negligible cost driver in nuclear power generation.

I was watching highlights of AC Milan's UCL exploits over the weekend on Bein and I was reminded of the greatness of one Clarence Seedorf.

Is Seedorf one of the most underrated midfielders of his generation? When people speak about great midfielders, we somehow evade Seedorf or speak little of him.
Seedorf is just before social media age na why

My take from this is that the coupists are majority in that country and are same ethnic group with our own Northerners. It won't take long before Imams start preaching in Northern Nigeria that Tinubu is going against their tribesmen in Niger, and the kasala go likely spread reach our side. Therefore every mallam should stay with his own kettle.

The deposed President is Arab. Let the Arabs carry this one from the North, afterall they also border Niger from Algeria

Pains everywhere!!! cool

The Russian economy keeps growing even with the national currency losing some of its value. On the other hand, the Dollar keeps it's place of strength yet ordinary Americans need more than double to afford bread even as the Fed is on a crazy run hiking interest rates faster than Usain Bolt could sprint in a bid to avoid a pulpable slide into recession,
Like I said, you have never been smart Stephen

What is USA interest rate and what is Russian interest rate

You have always been a big fool, looking for sawdust in USA eye with log in Russians eye. Russia just increased interest rate a full 1% from 7.5% to 8.5% and mumu like you is talking about USA interest rate of 5.25%

Why did Russia raise interest rate so steeply? This is because of runaway inflation and the collapsing ruble. I have given you the statement below directly from Russian central bank before you say it's Western propaganda. How can someone say they are fighting runaway inflation yet declaring low inflation if they are not cooking the stats?

It's like someone saying their house is not on fire, yet spraying water all over the house. Just like their false GDP figure which you are touting.

Dedollarisation had nothing to do with the value of dollar or ruble. We have said this severally it is about reduction in the use of USD for international transactions
Reduction is use of USD that is supposed to reduce demand for dollar and increase demand for your currency abi, yet your currency is tumbling against dollar

What is the effect of reduction of use of dollar supposed to achieve if not relative strength of your currency to the dollar? After all you will still buy the dollar price equivalent of an item, just using your 9wn currency, so dollar is still your barometer

Always investing in insecure areas which is the same as throwing money away

Kaduna to Abuja rail line

They will. Most women footballers, both Naija and International are living in penury and it will be a big boost to their coffers. The average woman salary in EPL is £47k and the median salary should be under £30k. I know Man Utd women's footballers renting two bedroom flats in Walkden, which is a not great area of Manchester

Now consider the average Falcons player abroad in a Scandinavian league. £25k to £30k maybe their salary so collecting £50k for World Cup is nothing to be sniffed at. At the very least, they secure a property back home in Naija with the money for when their career ends
