Flick has tried to change his tactics to get the best out of his team, but these guys just don't know how to win. That Flick has continued to hammer on the need to show more desire, intensity, conviction and other intangibles in his criticism of his team's performances tells you all you need to know. There are still issues such as the lack of a quality no 9 and the full back positions but the fact that too many "top-rated" players are also not performing to expectations is a big part of the crisis. Havertz, Muller, Gundogan, Sane, Gnabry, and even Kimmich at times, are all guilty of this.
