benalvino3: Who are those filling me with soot? Have you seen me rooting for any politician? Nope.
It's funny how it's Goodluck Jonathan, not obasanjo
During Goodluck Jonathan, the country was not in this mess.
You cannot tell the future, you think you have hindsight to speak the crap you are speaking now but it's not the case.
The incompetent idiots from the north, the uneducated fools you support are the ones mismanaging the country.
If he is doing such a good job why not support him for a second term?
You are still the one who supported militant groups, Mend, ateke who is a killing and a king through gun. These fools are uneducated, they want a share of the oil money but they can't solve 2+2.
These are thing kind of lunacy you support.
I came across guys who I never thought existed till we brought in 2 trailers of generators to share for the ogoni community. These guys said the trailers cannot enter our premecies till we pay them. 250k was payed to them before them begin kidnap us. That's how they made their living. Today we kept 2 of those generators because of what those guys from a community we want to empower did to us.
You want to do roads for them in their communities, they ask you to pay them to fix their roads... That's the lunacy you support, MEND and militant behavior. If you recall the Soot began exactly in 2015 when PDP took over Rivers State. That was the settlement for the boys and militants, and hustle for the PDP bigwigs. Things were not bad as this during Goodluck doesn't mean things weren't set up to be bad. Man left an empty cupboard with nothing to show and even blew the billions Obasanjo had left and judiciously saved, same thing he did in Bayelsa in just 18 months. I make no apology for going with Buhari over him because I saw first hand the works of Buharis PTF from school desks to school buses and infrastructure, roads etc, and even as Petroleum Minister he built 4 refineries, unlike Goodluck time where just completing Benin-Ore road or 2nd Niger Bridge was looking like a mission to Mars while they just shared money. Buhari look like someone who if given a budget will execute the project unlike Goodluck camp who will chop it. As fate would have it, the Buhari we saw was dementia riddled, and oil price collapse meant we are barely covering recurrent overheads. I am not a supporter of any Ateke. My clan was at war with his faction infact. Did you just admit to stealing two generators? |

They support anything that destroys a nation and you can see why that is on this thread And you support those who fill your lungs with soot Your man Goodluck already destroyed your nation, you couldn't see it because Oil was at all time high. I make no apologies for supporting Buhari first time round because Buhari had a record of delivery both as Director of the PTF and as Petroleum Minister |

donstan18: 343 dey limit our attackers true true.
As bad as it may seem, Odoi was actually brilliant today with some progressive ball.
Hakim, Mount and Lukaku too.
The workload on Jorginho and Kovacic actually reduced because of Mount, reason we didn’t seem them much in the game.
Kudos to Tuchel, he was very tactical with the formation, leaving Alonso and Fraudvertz on bench. It's a cause for concern for some leprous fingers that TT deployed a no10 today and Havertz was overlooked (formation said two 8s, although it certainly looked like Mount was the most advanced). Also looks like TT is making Odoi and Ziyech his preferred 3. I wonder how far for Werner, Pulisic and Havertz, man just shunned them for the last month. |

Ziyech was a different gravy today, looked like Ajax Ziyech. Combination with a no10 seemed to be what he thrives on, not busting a lung to counterattack from his half.
Didn't expect Tottenham to mount a midfield challenge despite what the noisemakers say as I don't expect a 4-4-2 to compete with a 4-3-3 for possession, especially not a 4-4-2 playing two fullbacks as wingers. Keen observers would still note your boy Jogginghoe showing his defensive weakness for your boy Winks to breeze past him and take a shot at Kepa and Bergwijn bulldozing through him for the disallowed Kane goal. I hope we keep the same formation but when we come across teams matching a 4-3-3 with an AM on the cameraman, I expect that these escort moments will become more pronounced. Tuchel knows Conte is not interested in attacking through the middle of the midfield and never has, it will be interesting to see if he will match often against a 4-3-3 team. |

Man City is the only team to have dominated us in Tuchel's one year in charge so far.
We have NEVER parked the bus even against all the Madrids, Spurs, Man Utds, Atleticos we met. I don't know where this park the bus talk come from.
All the loss and draws we have had, oppositions actually park the bus against us. Man City is the ONLY team to dominate us. Passing the ball amongst your defenders and defending with 7 and attacking with not more than 4 is parking the bus that went to Havard. If you have any further questions, ask your forward why they are not scoring. You went into your shell against Brighton 3 weeks ago and busy making noise

raumdeuter: A year before Jorginho, Cuntay won the league with 93 points and he didnt play attacking football, Pep and Klopp are the ones who made 90points a norm and if you change Jorginho, As long as your coach does not have an extreme attacking ideology like Pep, it wuld be hard to play attacking football. Peps attacking football is being anchored by an "escort" Rodri
Secondly, Mikel was not your first choice DM most of his years at Chelsea. Gegen pressing is not the only way to win, Cuntay won and he didnt gegen press
Thirdly it was only the Chelsea team under Carlo Ancelotti that was attacking and that was when you scored 103 goals. Other coaches even when they had Essien Makelele could not consistently play an attacking pattern and you've had almost 10 coaches even Scolari failed with his attacking football despite having Makelele Essien, AVB and RdM failed with Mereilles and Mikel Chelsea team was as attacking as they needed to be. And in games where the other team scored first, they were able to attack as needed with good DMs to protect them. We did this many times, that's why we win comfortably. So despite not being all-out attacking, in games where result was not in our favour, we could commit to attack. Scolari did not suffer defensive collapse like the days of Jogginghoe apart from the 3-0 vs Manure. Scolari problem was his team held ball so much without penetration, other teams will just park bus and draw 0-0 or win by single goal. This is much different to Sarri who will try to play attacking football and teams will target Jogginghoe and win 4-0 Mikel was first choice DM in 2012 and attempt to play attacking football with him led to inevitable result Finally the below is also important because we saw it severally under Sarri and Lampard We didn't need to go gung-ho to be inconsistent under Sarri and Lampard. Mere trying to go toe to toe in a medium block led to inconsistent results and many disgraces Ibime: To add, it's not only about attacking football or going gung-ho. Jogginghoe does not even allow us to play a medium block at any sort of consistency. |

Jogginghoe should be sent away like Bakayoko I attended the Manure match live at Old Trafford That was a 2-0 but not due to midfield dominance. They scored early and we spent the rest of the game trying to equalise. |

donjazet: If we have never seen jorginho play in an attacking system. This would be believable, but jorginho was the centerpiece if an ultra-attacking system in Napoli. Setting personal records while doing so. So this talk is a product of the bullshite factory. Wrong. Jogginghoe has always shown the propensity to be ultra dominant when there is a wide disparity between the quality of his team and their opponents, which is the case with Napoli and other Serie A teams at that time. It's no different from Jogginghoe making 180 passes against Newcastle and Stoke, and being bullied when facing Bournemouth, Aston Villa or even Brighton. No different from dominating other farmers league teams with Napoli but struggling in the UCL when facing his mates. |

raumdeuter: You've been supporting Chelsea for over 2 decades, Jorginho has been part of that for just 4 seasons
How many seasons in the last 20yrs did you play attacking football consistently? Jogginghoe came to Chelsea in 2018, the era where it becomes impossible to challenge for the league without supreme attacking consistency, so he can't be judged the same as those who can win league with 85 points. Secondly, I have had problem with Chelsea DM like Mikel not being able to put Chelsea in an attacking set-up for the last decade so let's not act like this is new. This moreso with the introduction of new attacking ideas from gengen pressing etc Thirdly, the successful Chelsea teams of 2000s though they played in a different era where they could be solid and win consistently, often had the tools to step up the pitch and attack to get the required results if they found that their solid set-up wasn't working in the game. They had likes of Makelele and Essien that will take care of everything at the back give the team freedom if required. So though a solid team, they were capable of going toe to toe as required, except against Barcelona. That same team also has the highest goals in an EPL season 103, second only to Man City 106 to show you they had the tools. Everytime you try that with Jogginghoe, it leads to a defensive collapse. |

reccy: I'm beginning to see reason to what ibime is saying. Way before, I was part of those who thought that he was just hating or being unecessary bias, but after relating his point here to what I watch, omoh, I see correlations and these are very detrimental to any serious title contending team having Liverpool and man city to contend with.
Truly, ibime is not hating, He Is just bringing fact to why we keep failing to win league giving the investment we've made. If you want to see an attacking chelsea and an highline chelsea playing, there is needs for us to have a standard DM who is quick, transitive and fit enough to take risk while neutralising any form of threats from opposition.
This, no doubt, has an effect on our attackers and strikers being poor all season which inevitably has a resultant effect on overall Chelsea performance.
I called one of my guy to the arguments here especially the ibime and co, and also havertz and mount's. He Is yet to come in term with the jorginho's ineptitude which is causing us a lot. To him, jorginho is the best register and is the best thing after the fruit of garden.
I enjoy it when people are able to see beyond stats and call out any player for their negligence. This has been my only point ever since. All this talks back and forth boils down to one single point. We can't play attacking football consistently with Jogginghoe. We have plenty evidence of failing to do so for four years and only evidence of Jogginghoe success we have was parking bus in tournament football |
