I saw him against city running behind a defender knowing fully well that Ziyech can't connect that cross to him from there without either of Ederson or Stones getting to it first. I don't think any of the forwards are happy. The system has been making them worse than they are. Imagine a Pulisic who is a creative dribbler playing most of his minutes as a wingback and his other minutes as a striker. I don't think they're happy. Maybe Lukaku spoke for all of them sef.

TT should stop playing. We don't need to be fielding players just because they are willing to try for the big striker signing. If and when Lukaku clicks, it will happen naturally, not by playing out-of-form players just because they are willing to make Lukaku work. TT has a big mandate with Lukaku and it's spilling into team selection.

I won't argue whether Lukaku makes the right runs because I remember how the lovers of shekpe-keeper (Torres) used to argue he's always making runs and nobody is looking for him, when it was obvious that Torres was drained of confidence and hiding from making runs after some glaring misses.

What I know is that Lukaku knows how to make runs as evidenced by his goal record for club and country. I don't know whether he made the right runs this particular game as I did not see much overloads on the wings, or breaking of the lines from midfield that would prompt a striker to start making runs. We can only be talking about runs to initiate a long ball from the centre backs or DM which Rudiger gave him one today and that was it.

Rudiger played with Kepa fair enough but Matip played a highline at all times. Bear in mind, you are the one who brought this comparison. I don't use Goals Conceded to compare defenders without looking at the bigger picture such as the attacking or defensive set-up of the team.
