Android22:Stop making noise. Conte never wanted Matic sold, period. He said so several times, but you wouldn't know as you are not a Chelsea fan Upon all your words upon words, you are yet to show one statement from Conte showing his problem is with who Matic was sold to. Rest. |
Android22:Airmark has given you all the evidence you need, you continue to act foolish. As of the tour, the transfer was 95% completed, that's why he didn't go on tour. You continue to foolishly use not going on tour as reason Conte wanted to kick him out when every Chelsea fan knows he wasn't taken on tour because he was on the cusp of finalising his move to Manure. The journalists only asked him about Matic because they knew the transfer was almost done and his absence was a telltale sign of the impending transfer. Hence if you are not a Chelsea fan, keep quiet about what you know nothing about. It is better to concede an argument when those with more intimate memory of the topic tell you you are going offside, than to look obtuse and strong-headed. You started your argument with Airmark with a post from a foolish journalist from Daily Express of all tabloids claiming Conte wanted to sell Matic to Man Utd. When shown Contes own words, you changed your argument to "Conte wanted to sell him, just not to Man Utd". You can see how you have no knowledge of the topic at hand, and now just arguing for argument sake and running your mouth like tap water, contradicting yourself.
|
Android22:Are you a Chelsea fan? No. Don't talk what you don't know. We will not rehash the numerous Conte interviews and press conferences on the matter here for your benefit. I did not speculate anything. It is known that Matic was forcing the move. The only thing I don't know definitively is what he did to force it. If you want to talk about the finer details of your club, Ed Woodward, Sandro Rosell or whatever, go ahead no one will argue with you. But you won't come here and start telling us about the finer details of what we all witnessed four years later. Conte said definitely he did not want Matic sold, he wanted him as first choice (did not trust Bakayoko as a starter), you started adding your own Maggi about direct rival. He did not want him sold, full stop and he said it, not a journalist or a gossip column but Conte himself korokoro live on camera. And to highlight the inanity of your argument, not wanting a player to be sold is not mutually exclusive to not wanting to strengthen a rival. If you value a player not to sell him, it's just adding insult to injury if he goes to a rival, but the injury is already there. If Barca don't want to sell Messi, will you come and argue that Barca would love to sell him, they just don't want him to go to Madrid? They want neither, and one does not invalidate the other. |
airmark:When people don't follow your club in-depth, they will be arguing what they are just piecing together, something you already knew as it happened. The club already agreed to sell Matic against Contes wishes. At the last minute, Chelsea threw some extra demands in the agreement after Matic had already agreed good money with United. Whether Matic misbehaved to get the transfer over the line, who knows, but we can infer so from Conte comments. None of that means Conte disciplined him and sold him for misbehaving like Android22 is piecing together. Man is putting the cart before the horse and piecing together what he doesn't know. All that Summer, it was clear Conte was keen on keeping Matic. Nigga literally said Bakayoko was not ready for Chelsea before Bakayoko kicked a ball. They then made it worse by adding Drinkbleach to his options, as well as Barkley he never gave a fück about. This is what some guys are comparing with Pep who discuss with friends over whiskey at the restaurant they all co-own (Pep, Bergiristain, and Soriano) who they will sign, including who they will sign if their preferred choice is unattainable. |
seankafor:Be careful bro. I don't think we are done. BTC $38K, then $30k is in play. I don't think BTC can escape tightening of Fed Monetary policy A smart investor DCA small percentages on the way down if market is turning bearish. Times like these, I prefer buying BTC while it's in accumulation phase after a dump. I'll give you an example. This time yesterday BTC was $41k, right now it's still $41k. . . but this same time yesterday BNB was $440 now it's $420. This is what happens to ALTS when BTC is accumulating. Don't be surprised to see BNB at $200 and Solana at $50 by the time we're done. During accumulation phase, buy BTC, during expansion phase, sell BTC into ALTS. Like my man Jedisco says, we only get two or three periods to buy ALTS in a year. |
jmanity:Alex Becker is somewhat of a degenerate ![]() Institutions are the ones who buy BTC. They give us money by pumping BTC that we go and spend on ALTS. Long live BTC I personally like BTC dominance, it adds a layer of complexity that means those who don't watch BTC lose to those who do. The gains in crypto don't appear from thin air. Someone must lose money for others to gain. |
jedisco:$3.50 is heavy resistance for FTM. A lot of people rushed it at that price in October anticipating a big announcement with Bïnance which turned out to be a damp squib, leading to a selloff. So a lot of bagholders at $3.50. Coincidentally it was approaching that same $3.50 last week when BTC took a heavy dump, so more bagholders added to the ones stranded there. |
Android22:Age factors into it. Who was first choice at 26 can no longer be first choice at 30 |
Android22:Everyone has been chasing Koulibaly for four years, the price has always been £90m and nobody took the bait. Going back to Napoli to see whether De Laurentis has finally got sense to cut his price drastically given the player is 30 and with the economic reality of the pandemic does not make him your first choice over a 22 year old who is also coveted by all the top clubs. If their price match, you will prefer the younger version. Koulibaly will have to be at a significant discount to make sense and he wasn't, so back to preferred choice. |
What's up with AFCON and 1-0 scorelines? |
basilico:He said he tested positive for Covid on 16th Dec. On 17th December he was handing out awards at a tournament named after him. The deadline to submit circumstances for VISA exemption to Aussie authorities was 10th December meanwhile.
|
Trevor012:You are now contradicting yourself. Your first post said Koulibaly was the main target, now this one is saying they bid for Kounde first and are now going for Koulibaly. According to your theory, who they bid for first is the primary target. The fact remains these are all second choices after they decided Dias would be too expensive. Same Dias they have been chasing since 2019.
|
Trevor012:You can rant all you want. They got their number one man. They thought his asking price was much, and explored other options they thought would be cheaper but still came back to number one when others priced themselves into his price bracket. That's how people with budgets make financial decisions. Those who collect pocket money can never think like people who have financial choices to make, so you won't understand.
|
Trevor012:Simple. Dias was first choice. They thought they could get a better financial deal elsewhere, and when they saw others asking outrageous amount, they might as well pay the outrageous amount for their first choice. City link with Dias has been going on for a year before they signed him
|
Trevor012:I am showing you how people who make financial decisions think. Someone who collects pocket money from his parents should not question how financial decisions are made. Dias was City's first choice. Financial considerations is what made them look Kounde and Koulibalys way thinking they would be cheaper. When they saw Kounde and Koulibaly being priced like a Dias, they went back to Dias. A compromise is when Conte ask for £70m for Van Dijk and the club offer £30m Rudiger, or asking £60m for Alex Sandro and being offered a £20m Emerson Not requesting a £55m Kounde and getting a £65m Dias
|
Android22:There is nothing second choice about Dias. What is likely is that City thought Dias is £65m and thought they could do better financially with Kounde at maybe £40m. When they saw Sevilla asking Dias prices for Kounde, they revert to first choice. Same with Koulibaly, nobody will expect Napoli to quote £90m for a 30 year old, and probably hoping to get him for like £30m. When they saw both players back at Dias price level, they go back to Dias. Na so market be. If you go to market with a thought of buying ofada rice to save cost and you see Ofada being priced same as Basmati, you kuku buy Basmati. Kounde was not quoted any £70m in 2020. Sevilla won't ask more than £55m if you really want the player and negotiate in 2020. Meanwhile Koulibaly quote was £72m. Who will pay that for a 30 year old CB. When City saw them being unrealistic, then they might as well buy the real thing. Whatever the case, everything Man City sign is approved strongly by Pep while at Chelsea, the manager will come and complain that he knows nothing about the signing. |
If Dias at £65m cost more than the so-called 1st to 3rd choice would have cost, you can assume these clowns are just amusing themselves. Maybe Ake was the one who was fourth choice, not Diaz, afterall they needed two. It is only Chelsea that the club will sign a player and the manager will come out in press conference to disavow the signing. |
popizaino:You saw it from Mourinho and Conte at Chelsea. If you don't know what Chelsea is like by now, you're on a long ting No need lying about what happens at Man City to equalise matters |
airmark:It's only today I will hear that Pep best friends Txiki Bergiristan and Ferran Soriano forced Grealish on him. Popi is something else. Nowhere has this even been gossiped in media
|
Cameroun stadiums look good but the way the grass keeps cutting up shows they only laid the pitches recently. I've seen this too many times in AFCON and the host countries never learn. Every time player kick ball, you will see the turf breaking up |
Ibime:I can't really recommend 9japple TA course enough. Me and my guys have learned so much from the course and can be more deliberate about our entry and exits going forward. Baba knows his onions. Now I know why Jedisco sets certain price levels to enter and exit trades |
Looks like Arsenal will miss Partey during AFCON |
armadeo:E go come back |
Almajirihunter:Your entry is at 20. Price is at 9 Guys will dump tomorrow despite 33% tax including me, as I still have more tokens vesting in April and my bag tomorrow is worth $7k, which I can use to chase better ROI elsewhere, so I can derisk now and if it does well, still catch the upside with April bags. Also to avoid others dumping on me. So you either ride out the dumping and turn to a long term HODL or cut your losses. I don't think the Dev will start marketing and work until the dumping from the second vesting is complete. But he has ability to pump the coin after that. Bear in mind price has taken two trips to 60 - 3x your entry Unfortunately in Crypto, we can all get caught offside not taking profits |
Ibime:Still on this. Tech stocks and BTC will continue to get hammered as interest rates rise while banking stops will go up. I see no reason to commit funds to the market while this hangs over us. It might be months before I make another purchase if my hunch is correct. The theory remains the same. In times of cheap credit, risky tech stocks and BTC go up. In times of expensive credit (interest rate rise), they go down. My belief is that a mini bear is just starting. I will only buy new releases or MVB coins in the meantime. I DCAd 15% of portfolio into ETH and EGLD at $42k and that's enough for me. Next purchase will be in the $30k zone and it will only be BTC. Golden rule, when BTC is accumulating, buy BTC, as ALTs dump while BTC accumulates. Sell BTC when it pumps, and buy ALTS when BTC is in distribution phase. |
donjazet:Na Omicron give you mouth. Vaccine and lockdown saved a lot of lives |
jedisco:Thanks bro |
Dujon Sterling was at fault for both goals conceded by Blackpool today. He lost his man both times |
donjazet:Expected, but with Omicron being milder, na to catch Omicron go make sense to develop immunity with lower risk of dying. Both my parents caught it over the last two weeks and are doing OK |
BlueMann:Against non league team? Can't make that judgement against this opposition |
NinjaXmetahuman:We suppose dey see all these Barkley, Harvey Vale, Lewis Baker in this match. Why kill a non league team with Kovacic, Lukaku, Werner, Pulisic and co. Tuchel is wicked. |
donjazet:We know those games. Crotone, Newcastle etc
