Just leave Theflint1, make he dey conjure different "kanipe" analysis to defend someone that was clearly trying to impress the house with his hyperbolic claims.
Elder problem is he tried to talk down on Swiz123 for no reason

Theflint1 Mathematics is not far off but the question is whether it's a daily occurrence for Elder

If Oliseh in his $1m house, lives in trenches then where do you, Raumdeuter and other billionaires live?
Trenches the minute we stop earning.

One man mansion is another mans trench

Fabrice Muamba drives to gym in VW Golf 2022 plate. For him that is a trench, for me I wouldn't even care.

Musa has so many investment oh. The guy really try.
Musa collected £100k per week from Leicester so it will take a lot to bring him to his knees

But Musa na typical aboki, all his investments are in Nigeria

As far as I am concerned, all those investments (in Nigeria) are suboptimal investments and the same mistakes made by his predecessors that all returned to trenches such as Yekini, Oruma etc. He is lucky he can lose a lot and still be alright, but his investments no be am at all

If i have $1m today i can never go broke or live in the trenches like Ibime erroneously believes.
Go and watch Oliseh videos he regularly uploads to YouTube. Oliseh hasn't painted or upgraded that house or that room he streams from in decades.

You think Oliseh does not/did not have $1m

First, as a footballer, your house will be worth $1m. Even if you downgrade, you go downgrade to $500k, then only $500k will be generating income for you.

I'm sure Oliseh house is worth $1m easy, at worst $500k but he doesn't have much else to generate income for him. Na abroad trenches be that.

Taribo earned that much at the peak of his footballing career but each time ex-footballers are lamenting about "neglect" from FG he's always at the forefront.

He's always giving the vibe of someone who didn't make much and need the benevolence of the government enjoy life after retirement. Only God knows what he did with how own money Sha ; I mean he even had to start a church.
Taribo earning period in Milan was only 5 years

He never landed the big contract, was still proving himself in Inter when they booted him to AC

Same thing with all those Amuneke them, injury struck him before he got better contract

Osimhen is taking home circa N2bln monthly. Turkey tax rate is 20% for footballers

Osimhen can never return to trenches even Monaco, Mayfair or Marthas Vineyard trenches

If he was so frugal, I wonder why he's had to resort to advertising for betting companies. He made his money from hard work and making use of his talents, but is promoting a destructive act like betting to the youths just for the monetary gains.
Okocha does not chest the same bills as your average Nigerian footballer living in Nigeria. Okocha is chesting private school bills and abroad homes in exclusive areas for his children in London. He still needs to collect

This thing na lie.

If you fix like €600,000 i.e #1bn after retiring, wetin you wan spend per month and why you go return to trenches?
Trenches abroad is not like trenches in Nigeria.

What will N1bln do for you abroad

All those Sunday Oliseh, Babayaro etc are in trenches abroad as we speak

If Boniface career quench after his current Leverkusen contract he will have an upper middle class lifestyle abroad..If he does footballer expenses on that same earnings he will end up in abroad trenches like Oliseh them. He can never return to Nigerian trenches like Babangida, Oruma, Rufa and Yekini them

I doubt Boniface and his friend Osimehn can emulate the frugality credited to Okocha in his playing days and even now that he's retired.

Boniface and his friend seem to be about the social media life , gifting their "fans" at random, paying influencers and sponsoring trips of their influencer friends to stay relevant in the social media space, etc. Whether the aggregate of these social spendings will have a significant impact on their purse in the long run; only time will tell.
Osimhen has plenty room to flex. He is on ten times Boniface salary. Osimhen cannot return to trenches at all plus he is said to be quite "stingy"

Trenches,how?
Lambo, Bentayga, Rolls Royce and Private Jet lifestyle will return Boniface to the trenches on his current career earnings but is enough for the average modest man to retire comfortably

At the expiry of his Leverkusen contract, Boniface would have earned circa £4m after tax from football. £3m is the number I set as a comfortable retirement number for an average modest man if the £3m yields 5% per annum from investments (property, fixed income etc)

But a typical footballer will blow most of that £4m Boniface earnings just due to peer pressure (Cars, Private Jet trips etc) and will live in a £2m house at least so the money isn't earning returns. So Boniface needs the big contract next. He can't be stuck on this Leverkusen contract level.
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga)Re: EPL Chatroom - All Discussions by Ibime(m): 10:41pm On Aug 24, 2025
Boniface hasn't landed his major life changing contract yet

He should be very careful and lock in

It only takes one large 5 year contract from Saudi and now is the time to lock it in, then he can play after the ink is dry

At the level he's operating at (£800k per year after tax), he can still return to the trenches after football

Caicedo is the one doing all the work in Chelsea, travelling to South America every International break same as Enzo but na always rest dem dey use excuse Enzo

When a nucca has been needing rest for the last 3 years, it's time to admit he's physically deficient for the midfield role
To add to this, MacAlliister who plays same International schedule as Enzo plus midweek European football (that Enzo has not played for 2 years) is out here running like Energiser bunny

But it's Enzo that needs break despite just returning from 1 month holiday

Every year we keep hearing how Enzo needs a break. Enzo doesn't need break. He cannot run and will never be able to run nor be an effective CM in the EPL
