That cantwell guy won't be bad either. Especially as RLC's village people are on his matter 24/7
Cantwell, what for? Where does he fit in?

He is not better than any of our wingers.

My Josh King comment is for a reason - he is a strong tall striker with the hold-up play of Giroud and the speed of a modern striker. He plays wings just as well so he can get minutes there if no9 position is taken, just like Anelka. I always like substitute striker that can play on the wings.

Bournemouth are dun out ere

Imagine losing 4-0 to Newcastle at home.

We should take the opportunity to get Josh King for like £15m

But what exactly happened to Jorginho?

He's been decent this season. Anyways, I'm happy Kante is now in his natural habitat.
There are things many fans don't see about escorting that will make them happy with a liability.

The below video is an example of how an escort can make a team vulnerable without fans thinking he has played poorly. This is William Carvalho vs Danilo Perreira. It shows why Portugal prefer Danilo despite being way less technically proficient than Carvalho.

This was always my problem with Mikel

We won't lose to the scummies again except Jorginho escort services returns to the midfield. Kante, Kova and Barkley/Mount will do the job.

Ehhhh...I think James can manage. At least he's got some Pace. And his crossing will cause more problems at the other end.
I prefer seeing James against Sterling than Alonso against Mahrez.
Or maybe I just like James huh

It may boil down to the tactics at the ends sha...I remember when we played conservatively against City during Sarri's time. Alonso started, and we won 2-0
You can see now, James has a lot to learn.

This stage of the season is not time for taking chances on gung-ho players with little margin for error in the race for top 4. Azpi to see out the season at right-back, and Alonso at left-back.

James should get his stamina, weight and concentration together for next season.

Stop putting Jorginho name in your future teams. Jorginho is a dead man walking.

Also, thank God you are not Chelsea manager, with this midget midfield and no 3rd man in midfield to help their lack of height - as if teams don't build attacks from knockdown from aerial balls. Also where do you know Jorginho to play in 2 man midfield. So Jorginho will be moving left to help Pulisic and Chilwell while also holding central midfield? This team can't finish in top 8.

Mount and RLC over Barkley for me.
RLC won't be anywhere near match rhythm till next season. His body is too big to come back at the level of pressing Lampard requires after 1 year out.

Mount decision making is worse than Barkley's in the final third and Barkley is more robust and stronger in the deeper midfield position
European Football (EPL, UEFA, La Liga) › Re: Official Chelsea Fan Thread: Club World Cup Champions 2025-2029 by Ibime(m): 5:41pm On Jun 28, 2020
Barkley reemergence has been a blessing in disguise.

Jorginho should never be seen in our team again.

Defence looks way more comfortable without Jorginho allowing players to run directly at them.

Midfield 3 for the rest of the season should be the three on the pitch right now - Kante, Kova and Barkley with Mount and Gilmour subbing in.

I don't know about the crime scene in the UK when i was in ma sis in the UK, my sis was about how the violence there is a working class kids problem. Cos the postcode wars are also in places where black kids are not really represented.
Postcode wars are black boys thing although you may have the odd white boy in gang, although I understand Bengali boys recently started postcode gangs in Tower Hamlets.

I was shocked 2 years ago to watch a video from some "Community Activists" in London who supposedly patrol each postcode preaching message of peace. They were touring Kennington following a spate of murders in a few weeks, and rather than address the issue and hold the boys accountable for killing each other, they turned the rally into a "fück the police" rally, being the only angle they could use to ingratiate themselves with the gang members who are often surveilled by undercovers. Grown men activists who went to meet criminals to broker peace, instead of holding the young teenagers accountable irresponsibly joined them in an anti-Police rally and achieved nothing except reinforce in the minds of killers that they are above the law. I was just shaking my head. I wish I could find that video now.

Another driller, Burner from Wandsworth got arrested yesterday for running Drug lines with £100k seized from him. Burner is always running campaign against Police on Social Media for stopping and searching. Sorry bro, I can't join any campaign where you are one of the voices when you are a known criminal whose been in and out of jail, always rapping about stabbing and shooting your opps. I support Police stopping and searching you frequently cos you are a known threat to other citizens and they have a file on you. I am in my mid-to-late 30s and police has never stopped me once in my life, maybe because I'm a normal citizen they don't have file on me (or as someone suggested, because I drive a car usually associated with old people).

God forbid I contribute to an agenda that criminals like Burner wish to overdramatise because they are targeted for the lifestyle they chose to lead. See Burner in action dealing with one of his opps in prison here.

Book rec!! Michelle Alexander's The New Jim Crow.
Statistics trumps emotions and propaganda. If you know how many niggas commit crimes and ain't locked up, you will not cry over-representation in the criminal justice system. We have a significant minority of criminals in our society who earn their bread through crime, that's why our society is the only one where "No Snitching" is even a thing because there is pressure from a significant criminal population against snitching. Even our radio DJs carry on the same message to show you how permeated into our culture it is. You can continue to lie to yourself and claim victimhood but I only deal in facts.

The same reason we are overrepresented in criminal justice system is correlated by our education figures. Crime becomes an increasingly attractive proposition when your economic options are limited by lack of education.

There is no over-representation in the justice system. Our hoods have even been abandoned by the police for criminals to do what they want. I personally know many career criminals who never did a bid. Go to any South Chicago or London drillers or trappers IG or snapchat page and tell me what they are still doing walking the streets.

These are London streets right now. We need more Police.

Baba, 25% for a minority race is incredibly high, troubling and if anything, it is a testament/ evidence of the role of racism in these encounters with the police.
25% for 12% of the population is twice our portion, however we are 37% of the male prison population and if we extrapolate prison population to number of Police encounters then we are underrepresented in the death statistics.

Make no mistake, as a black man, I am 100% in support of strong policing. 99% of potential threats to my life and life of other black men has been at the hands of criminals from our own race, not police.

Chris Rock skit - black men vs niggas is still relevant today. Niggas making plenty noise will not let us leave our communities open for criminals to go gung-ho on us.

I am not sure I agree with the argument that racism is a smaller subset in comparison to guns being the major problem.

This is why, if you take guns away and institute another method/ protocol of policing, would encounters remain disproportionate? Would blacks be treated fairly without preconceived notions when they encounter police officers? Would it change how policing black communities happen? Fatalities may reduce but does that mean equal treatment during encounters?

I think that is why this is a larger issue than just banning guns.
Focussing purely on deaths in USA, statistics were 25% of over 1,000 deaths by Police were black. You may argue that is disproportionate but it's under-proportion in relation to crimes committed by ethnicity. As a man of statistics, these stats are clear that there is a wider problem, with race a subset of the problem.

It's just like we had 3 deaths by Police in UK last year (one of them was black) and we have people rioting in UK. One former UK Police Chief said officers are now scared to stop and search known gang members and weapon carriers for fear of losing their jobs and incomes. Which one is hurting us more as a community now, allowing these drillers to roam our communities with weapons killing our own (London was competing with New York for homicides at some point last year) or allowing Police to stop and search these guys.

These same guys who will always be rapping about stabbing and shooting their rivals from different postcodes will be the ones making the most noise about being profiled. We cannot continue to pander to the worst in our society abeg.

He said something that is quite striking which aligns with my personal thoughts about the movement. Black Lives Matter as an organization is totally different from the literal meaning of the word Black Lives Matter. Just because I am ferociously against the discrepant use of excessive force against blacks or anyone for that matter does not mean I a BLM apologist and I believe that is where you construe my thoughts.

I have always looked at each encounter from the view point of, is it the right thing to do? Would we get the same result if variables are changed but the conditions remain constant? Were there options that could have prevented that situation from escalating?

In one of my conversations with @chic2pimp, I said one of the problems with American politics is the fact that we have become too rigid in our thoughts and compulsively choose to see things from the spectrum and only the spectrum of our political alignment which is dangerous. People forget there are Democrats with conservative ideologies. Just because you are Democrat does not necessarily imply you are left leaning. Conversely, there are left leaning Republicans.

Take for example how we have successfully politicized something simple as wearing a face mask. I mean, it is just silly to imagine that we have allowed politicians to determine what is logical and what is illogical but dangerous. Republican members of the house blatantly refused to wear masks and you can imagine the danger in such reckless behavior.
What do you make of the statistics he reeled out that point to a Police brutality/guns problem as the major problem, and race problem as a smaller subset.
